    Hi! Thanks so much for having me. So as you already know, my name is Carissa-Rae but I usually just go by Carissa. I live in London but I originate from The Philippines.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I have ever received is probably when I got told “you’re so beautiful you don’t even know it”. I just thought it was a beautiful line because I know a lot of girls, like me, don’t get just how amazing and beautiful they are inside and out.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I have a few hobbies, I love to sing. I’ve been singing since I could talk and it’s always been something I love to do. I also love looking after my dog, Chelsea. I love animals apart from any type of birds, they scare me so much but I have no idea why.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I don’t actually know how to describe my fashion style but I like to keep my style in the middle of casual but sexy on a normal day. On occasions, I like to be elegant. I have two moods, clothes that are tight fitting and clothes that are kind of big for me.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now?

    I remember when I was in a club with my best friend in the VIP area and I was wearing these boot heels that were pretty high and kind of comfortable as long as I took precaution. There was a really wet part on the floor that caused a couple to topple over and knock the rope off of the VIP area, I thought damn that’s awkward. Not long after, I slipped really really badly in the same spot and the guys around me stared for like five seconds before actually helping me up. It was so so embarrassing but looking back I can’t stop laughing at myself.

    Is there a food or drink you can’t live without?

    The obvious answer to this would be water, I love water and definitely couldn’t live without it. Speaking food-wise, I love seafood. I’d be so mad if I was allergic to seafood because of how much I love it.

    If you could time travel, what will you like to experience or witness?

    If I could time travel, I’d really want to see my parents growing up. I’m extremely family oriented and I just think it would be amazing to see how they grew up and how they were when they were younger.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Ages ago, there was a guy on Facebook who would message me all day everyday even if I never replied. He really really wanted to get to know me and he kept offering to buy me things (even though I knew he couldn’t afford half of those things). I just found it super sad, I’m not necessarily materialistic so it was so weird for me.

    Thank you so much for having me! For me personally, “sexy” would be best defined as feeling yourself. I don’t believe in labels. People only see what you want them to see so being sexy for me, would be being so comfortable and happy in yourself that people are just like damn that’s hot.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I love travelling, and I’m always on the lookout for good food. It doesn’t matter where it’s from, as long as it makes a lasting impression! I also enjoy listening to music.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I usually dress depending on my mood and the kind of occasion, but if I had to describe my style, it would definitely be on the feminine and romantic side. Sometimes it’s sporty when I’m feeling laid back.

    Which accessories are a must in your wardrobe?

    Jewelries are a must. I rarely leave my house without it.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    There’s so many things I want to do. Now that I just finished school, I want to travel the world and immerse myself in different cultures, and exploring what my country has to offer.

    If you could time travel, where will you like to visit?

    I would travel to the time when my grandparents were still alive and visit the place where they were raised. Unfortunately, I never really got that opportunity to spend as much time with them as they passed when I was young.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There was this one guy who told me if we dated, he’d fly me out on a date and take me to these fancy restaurants. It was hilarious.

    Hi SimplySxy, it’s an honor to be here. I’m Erika Kristensen, a 21 year old Filipina-Danish fresh college graduate and model from the Philippines.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I have ever received was when someone told me that I had a big heart. I won’t ever forget that, and it inspires me to do more for people.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I do! During my free time, I usually watch movies and shows, bond with my dog, spend time with the ones I love, do fun shoots, and go to the gym!

    How is your fashion style like?

    My fashion style would lean towards being comfortable but also stylish, much like the brand which I’m an ambassador in, SM Youth! So a lot of jackets, denim, statement tees, funky polo shirts. It’s important for me to wear something I’m confident in but at the same time, comfortable so that it makes things easier for me to do what needs to be done during the day.

    Which is your most memorable life experience so far?

    My most memorable life experience so far was definitely winning the Second Season of the SM Youth Go See here in my country. It’s an online show which tests 14 finalists, if they are capable of being one of the Brand Ambassadors for SM Youth, a really hip clothing line for the youth. So every week during the season, we are tasked do to different challenges in relation to being a Brand Ambassador. It was such an honor to be part of the show. It was definitely a whirlwind of emotions, but the thing that I really cherished the most was being able to create long lasting friendships with my co-contestants.

    Not once did it ever feel like a competition to me. I was just in awe of how much camaraderie and teamwork there was despite us being in competition with each other. And now since the show, I’m just really grateful and humbled to be representing the brand, most especially the Filipino youth of today. My ultimate goal was really to inspire the Filipino youth and hopefully I did just that. I’m proud to be a part of this family that incorporates and celebrated individuality into their brand – their campaigns always have a purpose behind it and I’m thankful to be a part of that feat.

    Is there a food or drink you can’t live without?

    I cannot live without chicken hahaha! Any kind of chicken, I eat it. I love chicken.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Definitely South Africa! I love nature so much. I’m always down to go on long walks in forests and beaches (much like what I do when I’m in Denmark), go trekking and hiking, visit different animals. And I know that I could do all these in South Africa.

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    The first date should always be for getting to know your partner so a simple dinner in a nice, quiet restaurant where you guys could talk is the ideal first date for me.

    It is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy, Sara.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    For me that’s a super complicated question! I’m half Filipina/half British and was born in Hong Kong. I spent my childhood there then lived in India, Turkey and Oxford before reading History at University in London. But home is where the heart is – and that’s in the Philippines 🙂

    What inspired you to be an actress?

    When I was younger I always dreamt about being an actress but never voiced it out loud because I thought it was crazy. I still don’t feel comfortable saying it. Then when I focused on my future, all the career advice I heard was rooted to following your passion (kind of like how in love you should follow your heart) and that’s when I knew I would move to LA from London.

    Do you have a memorable acting experience you can share with us?

    A memorable acting experience was my first short film I did (that’s so cutely titled Bubble) where I had to get out of my car distressed and confront a guy I was obsessed with in front of the notorious Paul Smith pink wall on Melrose Avenue in front of around 30 people watching… all with a knife in hand!

    How did the idea of KAYA essentials come about?

    I attended a talk on how a Filipino organisation (Gawad Kalinga) was cultivating social businesses in the Philippines and how doing business with a heart could alleviate poverty. I had no background in business but had the heart for KAYA and took it from there. I loved sharing the fact that Philippines produced a lot of the world’s coconut oil and when I learnt how many Filipino coconut farmers remain in poverty (the statistics are staggering) I knew I had to do something with coconut oil – plus it’s my number one beauty secret for my hair.

    Tell us more about your charity work and how KAYA is involved!

    For every KAYA lip balm, a meal is provided to a Filipino child in need through a local feeding programme called Kusina ng Kalinga. The programme feeds up to 20,000 public school and street children every day. And just as how KAYA wants customers to purchase with a purpose, where possible the ingredients are purchased from Filipino family and social businesses and farmers cooperatives.

    Is there something you have achieved so far that you are most proud of?

    I would have to say KAYA is a major achievement. But also perfecting my roast chicken and being a dog mama.

    Have you done something embarrassing before that seems funny now?

    In school I joined MUN… model united nations… because I thought it was an after school activity on modelling. I was so confused why it was held in the computer lab and why my brother was there too. Oops.

    Which is the funniest or lamest way a guy has tried to know you? 

    One guy had a ‘getting to know each other’ game that had too many complicated rules for a first date or even just in general. I kept thinking, why don’t we just have a conversation?

    Hi! I’m Shai from Manila, Philippines! I’m an entrepreneur, blogger, fashion stylist and speaker.

    What was  the inspiration behind Shy Shop and why did you choose that name?

    It’s actually my name (because I can’t think of anything during the time I put the store up haha). I chose Shy instead of Shai because I thought that has better recall. I’ve always loved selling trinkets way back in college and that’s probably the reason why I pursue the business right after school. Today, we’re selling a lot of novelty stuff and other personal items and we’ve grown the business from a simple online store to several physical branches all around the country.

    Were there a lot of challenges you faced when you started Shy Shop?

    Yes! Everything starts small and that’s the same case with Shy Shop. Getting customers was a bit hard at first especially that it’s based online. It’s so difficult to persuade the buyers to trust online stores but I guess we’ve overcome that through customer service and great marketing promotions.

    Is there any motto or quote you live by?

    To get better, you always have to step out of your comfort zone 🙂

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I AM SO MUCH OF A FOODIE. I get hungry like every hour that’s why I got a mini pantry inside my room.

    What kind of music are you into?

    I love R&B and acoustic music. I also have a set of workout music which I play when I jog or I do crossfit.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    That you can’t please everybody but you can always be good (because it’s a personal choice).

    How will you describe an ideal date?

    Ideal date would be something by the beach with a dose of reggae music and probably some fresh fruit juices (okay that sounds weird, haha)

    Hey there. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed. I’m a 21 year old Filipina and I’m currently a full time nursing student in New Jersey. I started modeling for Robert Morales Photography Agency in May of 2016 and then branched out into different car events such as Hot Import Nights and Tuner Evolution.

    What do you enjoy most about modeling?

    What I really love about modeling is that it helps me gain the confidence in myself by going out of my comfort zone.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I’m not sure if you call it a hobby, but I love to study. Even when school isn’t in session, I love learning new facts and refreshing old ones. Something about it calms me down and helps distract me from the craziness outside the library.

    I was a “sexy nurse” during my freshman year of college for Halloween if that counts. I still have the outfit and I’m not really sure when and where I would use it again.

    Which is your favourite flower?

    Sunflowers for sure. They don’t make me sneeze as much and they match my blonde hair.

    If you could have a super power, what will you choose to have?

    I would love to teleport. I’m a huge fan of traveling so I think teleporting will save a lot of time and money. One minute I’m in New Jersey, the next minute I’ll be in Italy or Thailand. Also I would never be late to any class or meeting.

    What do you find most attractive in a guy? 

    If you can make me laugh, you’ll have my heart. Humor is the sexiest thing a guy can offer because it helps keep the relationship in such an upbeat tone. Knock-knock jokes, clever puns, and corny pickup lines are my favorites. Laughing is a super important ingredient to my daily life.

    Do you think that guys should make the first move, and why?

    I think that’s usually how it happens, but I don’t see anything wrong with a girl going up to a guy first. I love meeting new people so I don’t mind going up to someone whom I don’t know and introducing myself right on the spot. But, if it’s a guy whom I find attractive, I’d be too shy to go up to him. My roommate in college was the one who started the conversations for me. She was my wing-woman haha.

    To me, sexy means confidence. I feel bold and sexy in any photo-shoot whether I’m fully clothed or in lingerie as long as I carry myself with confidence. I used to doubt myself at the beginning of my modeling career and didn’t feel as sexy as other models but after I focused on myself and what really made me happy, I built the confidence to be sexy in whatever clothes I wear to different photo-shoots and events.

    I started blogging in college as a personal journal of all my memories since I was studying abroad most of the time.

    What are some misconceptions about bloggers?

    Haha! That we wake up looking the way we do and it doesn’t take work to get that right shot. It’s quite challenging actually and takes a lot of time.

    I would say my personal style is just as diverse as my personality but some common aspects stay the same, like my love for femininity and romance while being able to adapt that to my modern day needs.

    Where do you usually do your shopping?

    I love shopping online mainly for convenience.

    Pretty big but I try to purge twice a year to keep my apartment from overflowing.

    Which holiday destinations are on your must visit list in the near future?

    I’ve been wanting to see Japan for years now so I’m pretty excited to be able to see it for the first time this year.

    I would love to learn as many languages as I can. I love being able to communicate with everyone and I hate language barriers.

    My name is Sheila Snow. Currently I live in Manila, Philippines, but growing up, I lived all over the country, from Ilocos in Luzon to Agusan Del Norte in Mindanao. I went through around eight different schools growing up.

    I consider myself somewhat of a geek. I love board games and cartoons. I also love intelligent and down to earth people.

    I’m bisexual. I am attracted to both men and women. I don’t know why, and it’s not a phase. Been like that since I can remember.

    I am the biggest dork ever. I always follow the rules and am afraid to not. I swear this one time the guy I was dating dragged me into the mall…. But we walked in through the EXIT!!!! I mean something as little and as stupid as that freaks me out and I almost cried and totally got mad at him. I thought the security guards at the mall would arrest us and put us in jail! Yes, I’m a dork.

    Russell the boy scout from the movie UP. I don’t know but I feel like I’m just such a goofball sometimes and like I don’t really know what I am doing in life… But I know that like Russell, I have a good heart and pure intentions and I always want to help people. Oh and like Russell, I also really love animals.

    Worst rejection you’ve faced?

    All rejection is the worst rejection! I don’t know…. I guess I’m kind of a softie at heart. I really can’t handle rejection. I get so scared and fragile when it comes to rejection. It kind of makes me not want to try anything new because I am afraid of rejection. So hopefully your readers won’t reject me when you post these =’(

    Must have in your wardrobe?

    I think each girl should have that one sexy but classy outfit they can wear. So like a nice cocktail dress that can be for a business-ish type of event but can also turn some heads when you take it out to the clubs after your business meeting.

    What’s sexy to you?

    Confidence. A person who’s comfortable with who they are and not really worried about what other people think. So someone who’s just themselves and not trying to impress anyone else or pretend to be anyone else.

    I’m an aspiring actress currently training with ABS CBN’s Star Magic Workshops. So wish me luck in seeing me in a big production in the future!

    I think the perks of blogging would have to be meeting new & interesting people, getting to wear such awesome clothes all the time, traveling as well as working with awesome people & brands.

    Which are some timeless fashion trends you can recommend that will not go out of style?

    Dressing in basics will never ever go out of style. So keep those plain v-necks, skinny jeans and blazers in your closets!

    The 3 things you can’t live without in your wardrobe?

    I know I cannot live without my favorite pair of denim shorts, a loose tank top and a pair of sneakers. I would definitely wear these everyday if I could!

    How long do you take to get ready each day before heading out?

    Contrary to popular belief, many bloggers don’t take centuries to get dressed! I for one am not very meticulous when it comes to prepping, from my makeup to styling my outfit, I like keeping my prep time below 30 minutes as much as possible.

    What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

    I don’t know if I’m the type of person who does crazy things, cause I’d like to think that I fall under the good girl category.     What are your favorite types of food?

    Foooood! I love food so trying new dishes but my top five favorite types of food would have to be Indian, Spanish, Japanese, Italian and Korean. Wow, answering this made me hungry all of a sudden.

    If you had the opportunity to do or learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I’d love to learn how to dance ballet all over again. I did so when I was younger but stopped because I studied gymnastics instead.
