How will you describe your fashion style?
Minimalistic, classy and neutral. I get to wear crazy things at work, so my personal wardrobe is pretty basic.
Is there a preferred side you have to taking selfies?
My right side is my good side!
What hobbies do you have?
I used to be a lot more active; I did sports like volleyball and soccer, and attended a ton of nerdy competitions/tournaments. But now I’m old and I like to be a hermit and paint, sing along to my guitar, or read a good book.

Chocolate cardboard. Ever had it? No? Exactly.
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before?
Oh yes, too many. I trip over everything, but I’m not clumsy – just blind.

When and how did you get started into modeling?
I started modeling about seven years ago. I got started in the industry when a well-known fashion photographer, took an interest in me and asked me to do a photoshoot. From then on, I knew I loved modeling and wanted to make it my career.

Is there a memorable modeling or photoshoot experience you can share with us?
Definitely! The one in particular that comes to mind is my most recent studio shoot I did with Steve Ellinger. It was four months after I had my youngest daughter, and I had worked extremely hard to get back in shape and dive back into the modeling industry. I felt so alive, I kept saying to myself, “I’M BACK!” Being back in front of the camera after an eleven-month break from modeling was absolutely invigorating. And, I got some of the best shots of my career in that shoot!

Do you have a strict exercise regime you follow?
Yes, I do. I have found that the gym is one of my favorite places to be after making it a habit. I make sure to visit the gym at least five days a week and coordinate different muscle groups each day. For instance, Mondays are leg and glutes day. Tuesdays, abs. etc. But I always start with ten minutes of cardio. I make sure to spend 45 minutes to an hour in the gym each time.

How will you describe a typical day for yourself?
This one is difficult. My day to day life is not consistent, but if I had to sum it up, I’d say, of course taking care of my daughters is my number one priority, so taking my older daughter to school and picking her up, caring for my younger daughter at home, preparing meals, etc. as well as co-managing my modeling career by marketing, booking shoots, and/or going to photoshoots, and modeling/acting classes to better myself.

Is there anything in life you can’t get enough of?
I don’t think I could ever get enough of the ocean. It has always fascinated me, and I try to go to the beach as much as possible, because it is truly my “happy place.”

If you could have a special or super power, what will it be?
I would absolutely love the power to teleport. I have always loved to travel, and would love to see more of the world, so teleportation would allow me to do that in very little time. Plus when I’m having a bad day, it would be nice to just be able to escape to the beach for a while ?

Which is the lamest or funniest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
One night while out with my friends, a guy came up to one of my girlfriends and asked us if he could buy us a drink. Then his friend came to the bar and asked me for my number. When I declined, he leaned in to kiss me so I ducked and he kissed the top of my head and I spilled the drink his friend bought me on his junk. I felt awkward, so I just said, “Well…BYE!” and left.

Hallo! I’m a student who is majoring in Biochemistry at UCLA and is pursuing a career in medicine, specifically in Obstetrics/Gynecology. On the side, I like to model and share my personal style on my Instagram page.
What is your fashion style?
My fashion style seems to vary from casual to chic.
Where do you usually love to shop from?
I love to try out different stores when it comes to shopping. But, I can always rely on Forever21, H&M, and Zara for elegant outfits.
On a level of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?
Lately, during this summer, I’ve been a real big party animal haha (Level 9). However, when school starts I seem to always be in the library hitting the books (Level 3). So, I’ll take the average of the two and say I’m a Level 6 party animal, haha!
If you could have a superpower, what will it be?
If I could have any superpower it would be the ability to control time, because time is a very valuable thing. Nowadays people get carried away with their school, career, and chasing money that we forget to pause and take a breather.
Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?
My favorite casual black dress that goes right above my knees with spaghetti straps. It sways whenever I walk and it fits nicely around my waist, accentuating my figure without rubbing in people’s faces. Plus it’s made from cotton, so it’s super comfy!
What hobbies do you have?
I love to go hiking with my dog and I also paint on my spare time.
When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Most of the time they either come to me for school advice or relationship advice. Which is kind of odd to me since I’m the single one, haha.

The pleasure is all mine. I come from a small developing city in Kedah, after graduation, I decided to stay in Kuala Lumpur. I majored in Broadcasting and am now doing what I love the most and that is acting. I would say I am a dreamer working on making her dreams a reality.
How did you get into acting and modeling?
Modelling was for fun, it started out with a few photoshoots with friends. After a few beauty pageants, it became a source of income as well. Lucky for me, a friend of mine asked me to join an acting competition organized by 8TV 2 years ago. Winning the competition landed me the lead role in one of my dramas, and job offers came after that. I am forever thankful.
Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?
I love cheese, if I can add onto whatever I am eating, trust me, it’ll be there. However, I am trying to cut down on it, so wish me luck.
Describe a typical day like for yourself.
I don’t usually have a typical day, because my working schedule can be very unexpected at times. Normally, if I am not working, I would either go to the gym or do some rock climbing/ badminton, and binge watch movies online after. Of course, hanging out with a few of my closest friends would be a must.
If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?
I would love to travel to Hawaii, the beautiful beaches is temptation enough. Maybe because I am also a stitch fanatic, everything there seems very interesting to me.
Which flavor best describes you?
Mint chocolate. Refreshing and a hint of sweetness.
Have you ever had a secret admirer?
I don’t think so, if I knew I had, it wouldn’t be a secret anymore I guess?
What turns you off on a date?
Being rude to the waiters and waitresses. I hate it when people think they are more superior than the other person. I especially hate it when they try to use the “whistle” sound to call on the servers.

Hey! Well first off thank you for having me! I’m a model based out of the Bay Area, and I’m originally from San Jose CA. I spend a lot of my time going out with my family and the couple of friends I have when I’m not shooting.
What is your fashion style?
Mmh, it’s hard to say, it really depends on my mood. There’s some days I’ll just wear a hoodie with some Jordans while other days, I want to wear heels and a cute crop top with a full face of make up!
Do you have a memorable modeling experience you can share with us?
Every shoot or event is always special to me but I think my first memorable experience would be when I had just started modeling, I came in contact with Luciano Layne who was hosting a mansion power shoot in Arizona. To this day I can remember getting on the plane perfectly and feeling accomplished for starting my path in modeling.
On a level of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?
A 10 on the days I want to go out. LOL I’m the life of the party when I do haha.
If you could have a superpower, what will it be?
If I could chose a super power it would probably be able to fly. I love to travel but can’t stand the car rides and traffic.
Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?
That’s a hard one haha, being a model, I have tons and tons of lingerie, corsets, bustier, garter belts, tight dresses in my closet with most tags still on them. I can have a shopping problem at times LOL.
Have you done something embarrassing before that seems funny now?
All the time haha. Once I get comfortable around people, I will do the most embarrassing randomest things when I’m bored.

When I was younger, I use to collect Jordans and guys use to always try to start a conversation about shoes with me which I hated! And some of them would have no idea what they were talking about LOL.

I’m Ruby Rapture, a Burlesque perfomer, cosplayer, and model based out of Florida. I lived in California until I was 8, but I love Florida, and the friends I’ve made here, although the humidity is awful!
How did your interest in cosplay develop?
I was actually cosplaying before I knew what cosplay was! When I was 15, my school held a costume contest. I was obsessed with this manga called Di Gi Charat so I decided to dress as Rabi en Rose for the contest. My mother helped me make the costume. No one knew who I was but I still came in 2nd place to a kid dressed as Jesus.
What challenges do cosplayers face that is not usually known?
For me, as a female cosplayer, I see a lot of the creepier side of cosplay. There’s a line between appreciation and degradation. Cosplayers put their hearts and souls into their work, we love these characters and just want to share that love with others. Regardless of what someone is wearing, they should be treated with respect.
Is there an experience everyone should try at least once in their life?
Burlesque! I think everyone has the right to feel sexy and awesome and burlesque is such a fun way to channel that.
You have a passion for burlesque dancing too. What do you love about it?
I love everything about burlesque, the lights, the crowd, the routines, but most of all I love the feeling of performing burlesque. It’s so empowering. I had a lot of body issues as a breast cancer survivor; performing made me feel beautiful and confident. My burlesque family is amazing, too. I manage Shaken not Stirred Burlesque, and the girls in my troupe are really supportive.
What motto or quotes do you live by?
I think the thing I say the most is “everything is fine,” but my motto is glitter and be great . Or ROADHOUSE!
If you could describe yourself as a flavor, what will it be?

What exciting projects can we see you in the coming months?
I have a lot of awesome stuff going on over the next few months. I’m performing with Shaken not Stirred Burlesque at Epicon on August 19th , then catch me and few of the girls at Space Coast Comic con September 8th and 9th, and at the end of September I’m starring in a short film that I wrote with my best friend. Hello. I am Shiki Lee, a model and cosplayer from Hong Kong.
What is your fashion style like and where do you love to shop from?
I am interested to try different styles but my friends keep on telling me that it is a Japanese fashion style. I do love buying clothes from Japanese brands. Sometimes I go to stores that sell old fashioned or second hand clothes to search for some ideas for mix and match.
What beauty products do you use to look so fantastic?
To look good, you must do your base makeup well. Finding a long lasting foundation that suits your skin tone with natural glow is important. Aqua foundation from Koh Gen Do is my recent favourite.
But to be fantastic, the key is your smile and confidence.
People judge with first impressions. Your perfect makeup may be overshadowed by the mental image.
To minimize the illusion of impatience brought by uncomfortable makeup and clothing, I always dress up in a simpler way that I can feel comfortable. I also choose long lasting products for daily makeup so that I don’t have to care about my makeup throughout the day.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love Japanese animation and games so much. This is one of the reasons why I do cosplay.
The other reason or I would say my intention is that photography and modeling in cosplay is different from fashion modeling. In cosplay photography, you have to show different characters by your facial expressions and posing. I would like to show more character in fashion photography too.
What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?
Movies, like the Marvel series, with good story lines and visual effects always catch my eyes. I also enjoy movies which describe the psychological events of characters.
If you can travel anywhere in this world, where will you go?
I would like to travel deep under the sea and observe the weird creatures living there.
Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?
As said before, I am interested to try different styles. Sometimes the look is so different to the previous image. People may recognize me as another person.
One day, I just finished a cosplay shoot as a male character. With my wig and makeup on, I had dinner with my family. That is a restaurant where the waiters can already recognize all the faces of my family members. “Oh. You got a cousin to eat with you guys today,” said the waitress. Okay. That’s me.
What is an ideal first date for you?
It should not be in a hurry. Great to have delicious food and desserts.

Greetings from Canada! Thank you, SimplySxy, for featuring me today. It is a pleasure to share a little bit of myself with you and your readers. I am a Chinese-Canadian published model based in Vancouver. I enjoy doing promotional modeling, working at car shows, traveling around the world and working on my own brand as my life career.

What do you enjoy most about being a model?
As I am mainly an extrovert, I love meeting new people and socializing. The best place for this is at car shows! Car shows are so much fun. You get to see all the cool rides as well as meeting other photographers, models, and brands that you have potential of working with in the future. I also love working for myself, as I also consider myself an entrepreneur.
Is there a memorable modeling experience you can share with us?
One of my most memorable modeling experiences is one I cherish in my heart because of how unique yet simple it was. It was just a road trip with me and a couple other girls. One of them was a photographer; the other was another model/actress. We had only just met and we were driving to Vancouver Island so we had to take the ferry as well. Even though we were going somewhere local, it proves that even the simple things in life can still be enjoyed. We were on our way to shoot all day in the countryside, at a saloon for a calendar. The saloon style is not quite my style anymore, but I was young in my modeling career and that was an adventure for me.
The girls and I bonded so well, and we had such a close tight-knit experience. We were enjoying complimentary alcohol and food all day while shooting against car after car. There were some really awesome classics too. Everyone was so nice and welcoming; it was a totally different environment. I just had so much fun in the car with them, on the ferry, on the island, and even the whole way back home. It shows that you don’t have to necessarily hop on a first class plane to another country in order to have fun. Fun can be found right in your very own province, just an island away… and you would’ve never even had known.

Where do you like to party usually?
Since I am usually in Vancouver, my favourite local places are Celebrities Nightclub, Harbour Event Centre, and Bimini Public House. Celebrities is my number one spot. They’re popular there on Tuesdays and weekends. Harbour is great when they have a big event going on with big name DJ’s. Bimini is a cool place to drink and dance if you’re in the mood to go out on a Wednesday night. If you ever see me at these places, don’t be afraid to say hi! I love meeting my supporters and we can snap a selfie together!

Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?
I generally have a healthy diet. I regularly eat salads, meat and vegetables. Although I enjoy it, I can’t say I don’t have any guilty pleasures. Because what I love to eat more than anything in the world is Chinese food and bubble tea (AKA boba in the States!) The reason why these are ‘guilty’ pleasures is because Chinese food tends to be heavy in sodium, MSG, oil and/or carbs. And bubble tea is full of cream and sugar. But there is no way I can eliminate these from my diet. They taste soooo good, this is how I thrive!
Are you more of a bikini or lingerie babe?
Oh this is a tough one. I like to consider myself both. But if I had to choose one over the other, I would say bikini! I feel like bikinis are fun because you associate bikinis with beaches, and beaches with fun! Just imagine, a free soul, running around half naked on a beach – that’s me!

If you could have a special or super power, what will it be?
Teleportation. It would make my life a whole lot easier. I would never have to factor in the time it takes to travel somewhere and I’ll never have to worry about getting lost again! Plus, I can just teleport myself anywhere depending on how I would like to spend my time. Hungry? Teleport myself to a cool restaurant in Asia! Bored? Teleport myself to some exotic beach! Got spare time? Teleport myself to the biggest shopping plaza in the world! Aweeesome.

Which is the lamest or funniest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
Well one time I was at a beach with my girlfriend and we were watching the fireworks together. I had my phone out because I was about to film it on Snapchat. And then this guy comes out of nowhere and just says ‘Hey you should add me on Snapchat.’ Before I can even respond, he took my phone and added himself. Then he gave it back to me and walked away. And I’m left like… ‘??????’

Sexy can come in so many different forms, and everyone sees sexiness differently. It can be confident, daring and bold, or subtle, sweet and shy. Sexy can be in the eye of the beholder as well.

Thanks for having me! I’m a born and raised Jersey girl, working as a model since 2008. I’m also a body painter, foster cats for local shelters, and love black coffee. I’m a business student, passionate about educating other creative folks so that they can run thriving business doing what they love, too!
What do you enjoy most about being a model?
The adventure of it. Lots of new people and places, domestically or abroad. I appreciate creating personal connections with the talented folks I work for. A lot of past clients have become collaborative BFF’s, or like family to me.
Is there a memorable modeling experience you can share with us?
The first time I was published in a major magazine, I wasn’t told. It was a painting of me by Alyssa Monks, on the cover of American Art Collector, October 2010. A friend of mine was browsing in Barnes and Noble when she found it and called me. I was pretty giddy!
Do you have any hobbies?
I really love my work, and I’m starting a new venture teaching business to creative entrepreneurs. I spend most of my downtime on that these days. But when I’m really looking to check out and unwind, I love DIY craft projects or video games.
How will you describe a typical day for yourself?
A typical day when I’m on tour, working: wake up, coffee, look over my notes to refresh myself on that day’s shoots, pack for them, text photographers that I’ll “see ya soon!”, Job #1, have a snack, nap in my car in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot, Job #2, find food, zone out in my Airbnb until bedtime. It’s really hectic on the road! And I get “over-peopled” quickly so it can be very tiring. But the work I do is so gratifying, it’s worth the grind!
Is there anything in life you can’t get enough of?
Talking to people about what they are passionate about. I love getting under the hood of what inspires and motivates different people, encouraging them to take on exciting projects, break down their barriers, and create lives they love.
If you could have a special or super power, what will it be?
Oh man, I wish I could press a button and have two bickering people stop being defensive and instantly understand each other. Even if you still don’t agree, you’re a better friend, supporter, colleague, parent, spouse, when you can identify the core issue and say “I understand you, let’s work this out together”.
Which is the lamest or funniest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
After posing for a figure drawing class when I was about 19, a 40-something fellow with a volatile jail-break vibe asked me out for “snacks”. I told him I had just gotten something from the vending machine…

Hey there! Thank you so much for inviting me. My name is Emily, I am 28 years old and I just recently moved to the Houston area from Oklahoma City with my two little boys. I am a freelance model and blogger specializing in Pinup, Rockabilly and vintage styles as well as most anything in the beauty and style world. I am also a body and self love activist.
How will you describe your fashion style?
Oh goodness I don’t even know anymore LOL. For about seven years my style was devoted to the Rockabilly style which can also be considered Pinup style. Everything I wore was retro and pulled from the 40’s and 50’s era. Now, I don’t really embrace any one type of style. I love style and fashion, I always have, so now I just wear what I want and what I like without worrying about how others feel about it. I wear a lot of things now that I never would have when I was younger due to worrying about being judged but after seven years of looking like I stepped out of a different time, I am used to the weird looks if I do choose to wear something that pushes the limits of the public. The only difference now is I don’t care. My style is me, simply put.
Which beauty products are a must have in your personal collection?
Highlighter is my addiction. I never used it until it really became a thing and now I am obsessed with it. If I had to do a top five I would say face lotion for sure, my Better Than Sex mascara, red lipstick, liquid eye liner and some good ol’ chap stick!
Where do you usually like to party?
I don’t party. I never have partied. I was home schooled my whole life so I never had the high school parties, then I went into my first relationship at 17 and was in it until I was 23 which was a very controlling and unhealthy life style. I wasn’t allowed to ever go out so clubs and parties are something I always missed out on in my early 20’s. Now pushing 30 it isn’t something I even think about. I would rather go to a car show any day than clubbing. It just isn’t my thing.
If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?
Honestly I would do a road trip to all of the most haunted and abandoned places around America. I love visiting places with history and energy and I love photography so I would love to do a road trip and take my time to just explore and relax and enjoy. Amazing photos, exciting moments, really bad truck stop food LOL, oh yea!
Which flavor best describes you?
Salty! LOL. Most people would say sweet. I like to say I am like a fairy, too small to have more than one emotion at a time, mad, silly, hungry, horny, whatever LOL.
Is there something you don’t get about guys?
I don’t think so. I don’t think there is any one thing I don’t understand about a certain sex. I would say there are things I don’t understand about people. Man or woman isn’t really defining but your heart and soul is pretty defining and that’s what I pay attention to.
What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
I wouldn’t say any attempt was lame. I think it is always flattering that someone thinks I am worth their time. I really don’t get hit on that often though to be honest. It’s always really basic stuff, very polite, a dick pic or two LOL. I think the only memory I have to use here is when I was ten years old and friends with some little boys in our apartments. The oldest one liked me and I had no idea until he sang me a Brian McKnight song and gave me a card. I panicked and blamed my mom as to why I couldn’t be his girlfriend LOL.

I think owning your sexuality is what makes you sexy. Embracing that raw carnal part of yourself and not being ashamed of it. I’ve had my sexuality used against me and abused and I have been told my entire life to be ashamed of it. It is part of who you are. Man, woman and everyone in between has that part of themselves and owning it and allowing it to shine is what is sexy.
