Besides studying Psychology and waiting for University next year, I am also a part time makeup artist with the brand we all know and love growing up, M.A.C cosmetics and a content/lifestyle creator.
What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?
To be really honest, I don’t have a specific style because I really love fashion and I want to try out every style there is but growing up, I have always been a fan of the 90’s emo/punk rock, tattoos, dyed hair n a mix of dark, grunge and vintage aesthetic. And I think that it really stuck with me as I grew older because I know that I still incorporate hints of it into some of my current outfits/lifestyle.
Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?
Still using shoelaces as a belt haha. I think that was one of the most helpful hacks I have learnt. Oh and also, accessories! I feel like I’m naked without a necklace or a watch on my wrist.
Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?
There really is nothing much to do here in Singapore besides eating and shopping. But I do like to spend time with my friends doing activities together. An ideal situation would be to head to the beach. That’s my favourite place because I love the waters so much and just being surrounded with people who feel the same way too, enjoying each other’s company in this tropical weather, playing ball games/water sports.
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?
I don’t think I am a foodie, but I am. I LOVE trying out new restaurants and food places. So it would be a 9.
If you can have a super power, what will it be?
To be able to move objects with my mind.
What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?
Right now, it’s definitely Tate Mcrae. She has such a unique voice to her and her style is also quite fascinating. But I have always love punk rock so Willow smith’s Transparent Soul has been on repeat for the past few weeks 🙂
What turns you off on a date?
Bad table manners, or being rude to the waiters. My ass would’ve have bounced.

I think being sexy is just by being yourself. As cliché as it sounds, you’re only as sexy as you think you are, so go be the baddest version of yourself! you only have this life to live why waste it hiding behind something you’re not? F*ck conforming into what others perceive you as, you are your own damn self. So go be your own star!
I’m a makeup and hair artist based Hong Kong . Mainly focusing on show filming and media productions.
How will you describe your fashion style and where do you shop from?
My fashion style is more like chic style and retro style. I love to mix and match with sneakers. Mostly, I buy from some local shops and Zara.
What inspired you to be a makeup artist and how did you get started?
I wanted to be a makeup artist when I was 15 years old. I found out makeup and hair styles can completely change people’s impression of you. It’s a lot of fun in the process when we are creating it. That’s why I take a part of show filming as a makeup and hair artist.
Which 3 makeup accessories are must have for every lady?
Eyebrows pencil, lipstick, mascara.
Do you have any other hobbies or interests?
I like doing workouts and watching movies.
Is there something in this world you can’t get enough of?
Shopping, I love buying fashion accesoories to make my own styles or wearing something to show my mood.
If you could be a makeup artist for anyone past or present, who will it be?
I would like to help my mom to do makeup. It’s because she will always be there for me absolutely giving me support to do what I like.
What turns you off on a date?
Funny smells really turn me off on a date. It makes me not even want to get close with him.

I think “sexy” is temperament of a person . It’s not about what you are wearing. A smile, a eye contact also can turn me on.
Thank you, it’s an honor to be featured . I am born and raised in Los Angeles California who’s a stay at home mom for the majority of the time and I work part time security at a general hospital.
When I’m not working my part time job or running around with my toddler, I’m on Instagram and TikTok creating beauty content such as makeup, skin care and hair care.
What is your fashion style like and where do you love to shop from?
Whew! My fashion sense is all over the place. It all depends on the location and my mood. I’m usually in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt or crop top but when it’s time to dress up, I show up and show out. When it’s time to dress to impress I go all lot, I’m a bit extra but I can say I am the fashionista of my group from hair, makeup and shoes. My go to shop is Fashion Nova and Shein because their plus sizes fit me so well.
Do you have a strict beauty regime to look so fabulous?
YES! Of course! I always start my beauty regime with self care, rather, it’s skin care or mental care, all will help me look my best. With being a mom, I’m always busy if I miss days or a week of self care, I will feel at my worst. I don’t know if that’s just me but I most definitely will not feel pretty.
Is there something you have always wanted to learn or do but haven’t had the time?
I’ve always wanted to learn how to make clothes. With having many talents I wouldn’t mind adding another but I already feel so unorganized and don’t know what to stick with when showing off my skills.
What food or cuisine do you enjoy most?
Food is life, period!!!! I’m such a simple girl I love chicken! Rather it’s fried, sauced up, any way chicken is made, I will eat it but sadly, I’m on a pescatarian diet so fish and shrimp is my protein until I meet my goal for my wedding.
If you could be a superhero or villain, who will you be?
A superhero!! DUHH! I’m always out here trying to save others. I have such a big heart. But rub me the wrong way and I can be a personal villain. I’m a Gemini, that says a lot!
Which flavor best describes you?
I can be all flavors!!
Would you rather stay in or go out for a date?
Before having a child, I wouldn’t mind being in the house for a date but I am always at home so to step out for a dinner date with my fiancé and my daughter brings me joy.

Hey, I am Shreya Ghosh from Kolkata, India an honours graduate in commerce by academics, a self taught MUA, fashion and beauty influencer, and a YouTuber just suddenly and now it has became my passion.
What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?
There’s a lot but mostly vintage clothing or say the retro look, after all, old is the new trend! And of course comfortness and budget too.
I love to shop from Zara, H&M, Forever 21, Vero Moda, Roadster.
And also from Westside, FBB, Pantaloons, Max – quite budget friendly.
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
A little bit of everything from painting to stitching, from cooking to singing, from dancing to writing, from photography to editing.
How is a typical day like for yourself?
Shoot, edit and submit, really enjoying my work and then again a little chilling out with my cousins.
What have you always wanted to do or learn but have yet to find the time for it?
I really want to learn playing the guitar ever since my teenage years and couldn’t get time so far. And the language Turk as I love Turkish dramas. Am a big fan of Hande Erçel and Birce Akalay but sadly very few are dubbed in English or Hindi, so yeah!
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
I brought my phone in my school mistakenly and got caught at assembly in front of the whole school. The whole day, students were coming to ask me about it, so embarrassing a day it was. Haha, now it seems funny though.
Would you rather be able to play every musical instrument or master every type of sport?
I am too lazy to play sports since my childhood, so definitely would rather be able to play every musical instrument.
What do you not get about guys?
How are they blessed with the natural straighten silky hair, shaped eyebrows and thick eyelashes? Really jealous! Can’t god see us? LOL!

Everyone calls me Grace and all things beauty. My full name is Grace Nachanok Kijjaroenvisal and I’m currently a brand consultant for a creative branding agency. I consult beauty and fashion brands on the side but first and foremost, I am a makeup artist.
I’m a Thai national who grew up in Brussels, Belgium aka the best place for chocolates, mussels, and beer in the world. I graduated with an MPS in Fashion Marketing in New York a few years back and I am now living in Bangkok.
How did your interest in makeup begin and inspire you to be a makeup artist?
I’ve always been in love with the arts and the beauty that it inspires across mediums, cultures and even languages. I could’ve gone any direction in life but the very fact that the arts allows you to draw inspiration from across categories is an impactful factor for me. When I realized I could create just about anything on my face, I dove in head first.
I always felt like what I can contribute to the world should be transparent and real; and more importantly, the beauty we have within ourselves starts from health of our skincare and we can all accentuate our best features that way.
What are some challenges a makeup artist like yourself typically faces?
The beauty industry in Thailand is quite different to what I knew back in the US where the competition demands makeup artists with a star-studded portfolio. A lot of celebrity makeup-artists here dominate the industry unless you’re giving it all your energy and time into getting yourself booked for jobs. Knowing the right people and making connections at the right place and time is key.
The other observation I’ve made though, is that I’ve connected with many people who enjoy the same style of makeup as I do and it’s been a really great experience learning through the other professionals and listening to the needs of customers. The beauty style in Asia is not my style personally but to be a good makeup artist, I chose to overcome the challenge by embracing all styles and working with every opportunity I came across.
Which are some beauty products every lady should own?
For skincare, it’s super vital to have a moisturizer, an eye serum, and a form of SPF for your face. I’m only listing the absolute essentials for the everyday person who may not enjoy a full-on skincare routine like I do.
A moisturizer is important because the skin barrier on your face needs help to return the right amount of hydration onto the skin; some people with oily skin make the mistake of not using it which in return backfires and their skin produces even more oil. A lot of people question why we need separate types of creams for our face and eyes given it’s on our face, but the truth is that the skin around our eyes are completely different. It’s the most sensitive area on our face and it will be the first part that will show signs of aging.
Last but not least, SPF is not only the first step of anti-aging, this product is going to protect you for health reasons such as skin cancer; a lot of people still neglect the usage of SPF every morning on their body let alone their face. Wearing sunscreen is heavily associated with vacations or sunny days outside but truthfully, not even our clothes can protect us from UVA and UVB rays. Sitting in a dark room is really where our skin is safest from any UV rays as even some lightbulbs emit UV rays.
A quick glossary for others who are still new to SPF is that UVA rays causes ageing while UVB rays burns your skin; sunscreen varies from chemical to physical in which protects you from UV rays very differently. So I recommend everyone to do their research to find the best SPF for you and change your routine into incorporating it so it doesn’t feel like a chore.
Skincare is absolute for everyone and all ages; your routine and the type of products you use should shift as you age and you recognize the needs and changes your skin require as you get older. This includes the type of ingredients, the texture, and the benefits the product is meant to help you achieve. Makeup comes second, and I believe that is totally personal. Whether or not you need it, I don’t believe anyone needs makeup but if you want to indulge, I think the world of beauty is your oyster.
Do you have any other hobbies or interests?
I’ve been a bookworm since I was a child while I was performing on stage from acting to dancing to singing. I still try to incorporate all of those hobbies nowadays for fun but I’ve developed a love for making scented soy candles. It’s incredibly soothing and I love how candles make me feel when I add it into my environment.
More active hobbies include rock-climbing, swimming, traveling, café hopping and I love to give back by helping shelters and rescue centers in Bangkok foster puppies to help introduce them into the world once a family is ready to adopt them into their forever home.
If you can have a superpower, what will it be?
Teleportation. It’s a lot quicker than flying.
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?
A big fat 10, haha.
What do you not get about the opposite sex?
At times, their ignorance in the struggles women have to go through. We can have the same destination or goal in something but our paths to achieving it will be very different.

I’m so excited to do this interview, thank you for having me! I am Nikki Ashley, I’m a self-taught MUA and published model. Born and raised in Oklahoma (which is not as country as it seems LOL).
How did you get into modeling?
Since I was little, I wanted to be a model and I finally got to start modeling with an agency in 2018. Before that I always loved being in front of the camera. I was an only child and my mom took A LOT of pictures of me which got me very used to being in front of a camera.
I started learning how to do makeup more in 2014 which I really practiced at and would take my own photos of my makeup looks and outfits to post on social media. Which is kind of when this all started. I constantly begged to get into modeling and now here I am!
What do you enjoy about modeling and what do you feel can be improved about the industry?
I love the creativity, I always love getting together with friends and thinking up new fun ideas to create for ourselves. One of the ways the industry can be improved is something I have personally experienced which is just being more open to all shapes sizes and heights. I am 5’3 which can lead people to turn me down. Being more open with trying new things is what I think could help.
What inspired you to be a makeup artist?
I remember I would go into the bathroom where my mom would do her makeup and I would just sit in there and talk to her while she’d do her makeup. It was so fun for me and eventually I was old enough to start wearing makeup myself so my mom taught me a lot.
From there, I wanted to learn more so I would watch YouTube video tutorials and I would copy them until I would perfect the look. It was really calming for me to do my makeup so I fell in love with the art of it.
How do you keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and styles?
All of my friends on social media honestly! I have so many talented friends through social media and all of them slay every outfit. I normally watch reels on Instagram or YouTube videos for style watches to see what the next trends will be.
Do you believe in any superstition?
I’m not sure honestly.
If you could time travel, what will you like to witness?
I think it would be cool to go far into the future to see my great great great grandchildren LOL. I’ve always wondered what the future will look like.
What is a funny pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to use to know you?
I was dressed as Cupid for a photoshoot and me and my best friend were walking downtown and a guy said, “Are you an angel cuz daaaamn” LOL.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me personally, I like someone that is confident and funny, stands for what they believe in, and is very family oriented. Me and my boyfriend have been together for four years now and I love him more and more each day.
I used to be a make up artist. One time a model was absent from the shooting so the photographer asked me to replace the model to help them. It turned out it was really fun and the photos were lovely. That’s how I started my first shooting and I was only 16.
Do you follow a beauty regime to look so gorgeous?
My regime for beauty is sleeping before 12am. I am a vegetarian because I love animals and wanna save the environment, and of course it makes you healthier.
Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?
My fashion inspiration is my mum. She’s a very fashionable person and her silhouette is great. I love simple things, curves and black and white are my favourite.
Which 3 things do you love doing most in the city you live in?
I love shopping, sauna, and walking in nature.
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?
I’d rate myself 10 out of 10 for being a foodie definitely although I look skinny but I absolutely love to eat and eat a lot! LOL.
If you can learn anything in this world, what will it be?
If I can learn one thing in this world it would be speaking fluent French. Because I think French sounds beautiful and elegant.
What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?
One day a dude in a bar came to me and asked for my number. He said he was single and wanted to be friends but then his girlfriend showed up behind him and he got a steamy slap from her lol.

Hi! Everyone, before starting, I want to thank SimplySxy for having me here. I am Aiko Mei Ying, a girl who loves to do photo shooting, travel, eat and help someone make up and dress up. Actually “Aiko” is my nick name and ‘Mei Ying ’is my real name. haha ~ I’m 100% from Malaysia, Pahang but now stay in KL.
How did your interest in being a makeup artist start?
Em ~ I think it’s my secondary school that I started to love helping my two younger sisters dress up for them to look pretty when attending dinner / travel / Chinese New Year ~ hahaha ~ my pitiful sisters were like a doll to me. When I graduated from secondary school, I started my professional make up course.
Which is your most memorable photoshoot or modeling experience?
So far, I think the lingerie photo shoot and the gentlewomen was the most memorable and it was my biggest break. Because I always took the sweet route, and then the photographer asked me to change the style. Besides that, I also enjoy cat-walking on stage. I remember that my first time catwalking, and almost fell down on the stage because my shoes were too high. But thank god everything went well. I’m also grateful to my expensive people for giving me many chances to try.
Do you have any favorite quotes or mottos you like to use in life?
Complain less, be grateful more. Attitude is very important, when you have the right mindset, all the good things will be attracted to you.
What is your exercise and beauty regime like to look so gorgeous?
Hahaha ~ I’m lazy to exercise, my exercise maybe is walking / shopping ~ haha ~ yea ~ I love to cycle and dance. Most of my diet is nutrition, to control my body. And my beauty regime is hydrating and it’s more important. My skin care product is very simple: cleanser with make up removal ↣toner ↣serum / essence that’s all.
Then, a make up can let all girls become a goddess! Finally, having good living habits are also very important like sleeping early before 12am, drinking more water, and being happy every day.
Would you rather have the ability to be invisible or teleport?
I more rather teleport because I can go anywhere any more ~ wahahaha ~ No need for transportation and wasting time (imagination).
How do you like to spend your free time?
Singing, practicing make up and hair do, photo shooting, reading a book, cleaning the house.
What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?
Er ~~ I forgot because I have been in a relationship for around five years ~
