    Hi! Thank you so much for the opportunity. My name is Jessica Alicia, I’m 20 years old. I’m from Bali, Indonesia but currently attending university in Surabaya, Indonesia. I’m a beauty blogger since 2014 at www.jessicaalicia.com. I write about product reviews, tutorials, tips, etc. I love makeup, skincare and everything beauty-related, that’s why I write about it on my blog. My makeup style is more like a “light” k-beauty makeup that isn’t too heavy but enhances your natural beauty.

    Maybe you noticed I don’t use a lot of makeup on my photos because I like it that way! As I said, I love Korean makeup, the product formulations and the makeup style suit me the best! ^^ Lastly, my motto is beauty isn’t just about what’s on the outside, but inner beauty is important, too. Outer beauty means nothing if not balanced with inner beauty, right?

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    It started when I was 15 years old, I didn’t have any knowledge about makeup back then. Me and my family were invited to our relative’s wedding. I wanted to dress up a little, so I searched for makeup tutorials on YouTube. I watched a lot of beauty videos, I tried recreating the looks, and it was so fun! I fell in love with beauty and everything about it ever since, hence creating my beauty blog.

    Where do you get your inspiration from?

    Inspiration comes from everywhere, basically. But the people who inspired me the most are Michelle Phan; which is one of the first beauty gurus I watched on YouTube, BubzBeauty, Jenn Im, and my fellow beauty blogger friends.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    “How do you stay happy and smiling all the time? It makes me smile too. Your happiness in contagious.”

    Have you witnessed a fashion disaster before?

    Aside from pictures on the internet, no I don’t think so!

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I really want to learn to play a musical instrument. I can’t even play one instrument properly. At least I want to learn the guitar or piano. And also, I want to dance as well. I used to dance back in high school, but I don’t have the time to dance anymore right now.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    Definitely teleportation. I love the idea of me being able to be anywhere in one second!

    What is an ideal first date for you?

    First dates shouldn’t be too fancy, right? Maybe just movies and casual chit-chat at a café.

    Hi everyone! Thank you for having me here ? My name is Tabitha, I’m a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger from Bali, Indonesia. I’m an accounting graduate, but now I’m working as an Influencer and also modelling in Bali.

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    I always loved beauty and fashion since I was a kid, and it grows even more when I was a teenager, but I still couldn’t share my ideas or thoughts back then. Then, after graduate from University, there’s a lot of social media platform showing up, I feel so grateful for that and use them to share my passion that has long been buried.

    What inspired you to start Heels and Beyond, and why the name?

    It all began from when I was sharing my daily outfit pictures on social media, when the “ootd” phenomenon was started. What I wore that day, I will capture and share it on my social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). But, as time goes by, I feel like it’s not enough, you know, I feel like I needed a bigger platform than these. So, I started my blog, Heels and Beyond in 2014 which is dedicated to bring any inspiration look whether it’s casual, glamour, party or formal.

    The name of “Heels and Beyond” was actually because I love to wear heels a lot, and because it used to be a fashion blog, I thought people will get the message directly from the “Heels” word. And for the “Beyond” I wanted to emphasize that it’s not limited to just fashion, I also want to share a little bit about what I experience and learn. Basically, it represent a girl’s world which is infinite and endless to many things.

    A year later after I published it, I started to receive a lot of offer for collaboration and invitations to many important events in Bali. The requests also came a lot from beauty and lifestyle brands so I expanded my blog field/categories to fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Sophisticated, sexy and constantly evolving. I always love a style that makes a statement, especially when it accentuates a woman’s body, that embraces my feminine side. Sexy yet still classy, and constantly evolving means you’re ready to change and open to new trends. What’s most important to me above all is I stay true to be myself.

    Have you witnessed a fashion disaster before?

    Yes, I have. But I think style is also a preference of each individual, as long as you comfortable with it, just go for it.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I really want to work on my YouTube channel, but I haven’t had time because I’m so overwhelmed with my Instagram work right now.

    If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    I always adore Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain design, it will be such a dream come true if I could collaborate with him. And also Michelle Phan, she’s such a big influence and inspiration in my life.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Their selective hearing. They have some issues with listening unless it’s some sensitive topic, they would listen and give full attention to you.

    Hmm I prefer casual but I love wearing dresses. love to dress up, be in all the latest trends, and wear all designer names. You know which pieces to spend your money on and how to make the whole look appear expensive. My color palettes are maroon, white, black and more black, paired with the color of the moment, which is, of course, “the new black.”

    Which beauty accessories are a must have in your collection?

    Necklaces!

    Is there a particular food or cuisine that you can’t live without?

    It must be rice! Hahaha. But I also love Japanese food, European food, Western, and Sundanese food. Duh, I cant even think which one to choose cause I love to eat 🙁 I loveee every food except lamb hehe.

    How much of a shopaholic are you?

    Maybe 6.5 out of 10.

    What is one funny or embarrassing thing that has happened to you before?

    Well maybe when I was 10 and I got lost. Then I saw a woman that really looked like my mom. So I talked to her and then, someone poked me and you know, that was my real mom. So embarrassing.

    If you dropped everything and went on a road trip, where would you go?

    Bali for sure!

    Is there something you totally don’t get about guys?

    Why do guys eat more?? Like a really bunch of foods.

    Hi! Thanks for having me in this interview! I’m Indonesian and I currently live in Bali. I like to travel a lot, actually I never really lived in one city for more than 3 yrs in the past 11 yrs (but to be honest Bali is amazing!). I work full time in a 5 star hotel in Bali, I do part-time modelling in my free time, I dance, and I love pizza.

    What is your secret to looking so fabulous?

    Hahaha thanks! Well, if you wanna look fabulous, you should feel fabulous! It’s all in your head y’know 😉

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    That I have a beautiful smile (since I feel I look weird when I smile).

    How big is your shoe collection?

    I wouldn’t say it’s big. I have a couple of shoes, and heels, and stuff, but I always go back to wearing the same thing, and they are mostly slippers (because who wear shoes/heels in Bali, duh, and they’re freakin’ comfortable)

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    I shop from anywhere, but not online. I prefer to see, touch, and try the stuff before I purchase them.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    It would be the ability to fly. How amazing it is to be up in the sky, with the wind blowing your hair, and always able to skydive whenever you want haha!

    What flavor would you say best describes you?

    Rum.

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Oh gosh this is the most hilarious for me. There was this guy, he messaged me on Instagram: “Donna, we should go to the beach together because I like you and you seem kinda cute, so nothing is gonna stop us now”. I swear I couldn’t stop laughing for like 10 mins.

    How did the inspiration to be a DJ start?

    The most influential inspiration came from my father. He used to work in the music industry for 20 years. Thus, I was exposed to music a lot. Watching singers, composers and producers work made me realize that I wanted to pursue this industry. In early 2015 I found my passion as a DJ, followed by the growth of electronic dance music, I decided learn more and finally here I am!

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    One of my proudest achievement will definitely be being recognize internationally. Last month I played in Altimate Singapore. Secondly, being contacted by you guys for an interview is certainly up there!

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Best compliment I ever received so far comes from my Manager, BILLY, who is also a DJ and my mentor, who told me that my performance so far is making him very proud and I am ready for something bigger.

    Is there a misconception about DJs that you commonly hear?

    OF COURSE! Especially us female DJs. And being in an old fashion country like Indonesia doesn’t help. Most people think we female DJs only sell our looks and not our skills. However as time goes on, I am used to the criticism and just trying my best to prove other people wrong.

    If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    If I can be a cartoon character, I will choose to be Tinkerbell 😉

    How do you spend your free time?

    I spend my free time with A DATE WITH NETFLIX AND PIZZA!

    What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Lamest guy’s attempt? To be honest I can’t even remember when was the last time a guy tried to flirt with me LOL. But there was this one time, a guy asked me the title of the song that was playing. It was Closer from The Chainsmokers. Everybody knows that song, right? I was just smiling and tell him that he can use Shazam ;p

    The latest achievements that I got are Being On YouTube Fanfest 2017 with my group @_Aphrodite_ , being the model of Artisty – Amway, hosting beauty events ( Opening and Launching of BYS in Surabaya), winning OOTD Ciputraworld Fashion Week competition and being featured on Jawapost (East Java News Paper) for beauty and health.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    “You have strong image,  You can be what ever you want to and you also have beautiful eyes and smile.” From it I try to gather myself and work to reach my dream 🙂

    Do you have a daily beauty regime you follow?

    Drink more water, have enough sleep, more exercise, be careful on what I eat and no sodas.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    Yes, it’s when I wanted to go with my friends and waited them on the lobby. I saw a car come, it was the same as my friends’ car so I opened the door and got embarrassed cause all boys were only inside the car. I closed the door and saw my friends laughing right behind the car. I ran to their car and went in as fast as I could  > <

    If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    Hemm, I think it will be Belle on Beauty on the Beast. She’s strong, beautiful, craving for something more, following her heart and not giving up.

    Which kind of movies do you enjoy watching most?

    I love romantic stories like Korean dramas, comedy and action the most.

    What is an ideal first date to you?

    Something romantic and special like in the beach with candles or rooftop with city light view.

    I am a beauty blogger. Which is where I have a passion in the world of makeup and beauty. I am very, very fond of makeup and want to share with many people about my passion in the world of make up and want to share knowledge also to the community. Because for me, natural beauty is the main but there is no harm if we add makeup on our face.

    Where do you usually like to shop from?

    I really love shopping at the Mall. Accompanied by my friends who are as hobbyful as well. I also have a certain favorite brand that I usually like to buy. But sometimes I buy at the boutique in my country. And that sells branded goods as well.

    Do you have a beauty regime that you follow daily?

    Yes, I have some regime that I follow about beauty. I really like all things related to beauty. Whether it’s from makeup, or beauty products. Because for me personally, I want to look beautiful anywhere and with anyone.

    But there is a regime that I follow that all makeup products or beauty products should not be tested on animals. Because for me it is not true because there are regulations that also apply in my country. And besides that, I love animals too.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I have ever received is when everyone says if I have beautiful eyes and lips and also have a beautiful face and always look young. But in addition to that, I am very flattered when they always say in the last compliment in addition to having a beautiful face that you have a good heart and have a smart brain. And in the eyes of a man, that’s the real beauty and makes you look sexy.

    What is your dream super power to have?

    I want to be a successful woman and can inspire many people. And the power of my dream is in my spirit to continue to achieve it all by learning, learning and continuing to learn. And do not forget to always be a good person and try hard to achieve all my dreams. And when we have success, we should not be a proud person. Because pride can damage our success, whether it’s sooner or later.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I want people to be in a society that cares about small things. Whether it’s normal or something else. Because to me the thinking of the community is rather difficult to change. Especially if we do not know each other.

    And I also want to make people around more concerned with each other and respect each other. Despite the diverse differences, we are both human beings. And therefore let us work together to build this country for the better.

    What flavour would you say best describes you?

    I’m sweet, spicy and hot. I’m going to be a sweet woman but I’ll be hot and hot if that person gets me deeper. And my favorite taste is spicy and sweet.

    What is your idea of a great first date?

    The first great date I think is if the man can make me haunted and melt if the man can make me happy and happy. And the only princess in the world. I really like a romantic dinner and continued with a deep conversation about each other’s personalities. And from there we can know each of our traits and personality.

    Hi ! thank you for choosing me! I’m Angie Ang … living in Jakarta Indonesia. I’m 24 year old, and just graduated and got my masters last July. People know me as a journalist. But, no longer anymore. Or maybe another day, we never know. I worked as a journalist since I was 18 years old. But, I decided to leave it some months ago. So many reasons behind the decision. But I’ll never regret it. Because I will never regret any experiences. Now I worked as a TV Host, Emcee, and sometimes people ask me to be a speaker. Sometimes I work as a talent for advertisements or movies. Oh, I just came back from Sumba, for Susah Sinyal Movie, directed by Ernest Prakasa. Will be in theatres on Dec 21st. Yeay!!

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    I used to be nominated as the best presenter, and reached the highest score when I graduated for degree and masters among others. I can speak five of Indonesia’s local languages (still learns another language), and Indonesia’s sign language (BISINDO)

    How do you constantly motivate and inspire yourself?

    I remember my parents. I always do. And I remember when I had fallen many times. But those things are what made me stronger. I remember scene by scene of my life. I remember how hard and easy my life goes, and what I did do to get here. For me, I’m not successful already. But I will be. Someday, in my way.

    Are there any quotes you live by?

    When you believe in something, it will happen. Just believe. Believe.

    Don’t ever lie! Because once you lie, all the truth will be questionable.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Nooooooo. Mmmm.. I think yes hahahaha. I don’t have any guilty pleasures for food. But… The guilty pleasures comes to me when somebody tells me “You’re getting fat” in a good or bad way. For me, it’s the same. huh.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Random and simple. LOL. I’m not the type who wears high heels day by day. I prefer to wear sneakers in my days. But I’m not masculine though. I just wear anything I want, randomly. As long as it looks simple, I wear it. Sometimes, I wear t-shirts with a skirt and sneakers. Sometimes I wear long pants with a blouse and sandals. On special occasions, I wear a long dress, and I love my backless gown very much, hihi. I’m addicted to sunglasses. I love when it suits my face LOL.

    Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

    The last Indonesian’s movie I watched was Jomblo Reboot. Directed by Hanung Bramantyo, the famous one. Well, I give them 8,5/10. I was great!! I was laughing but crying at the same time hahaha. Can’t describe it, you should watch it by yourself *wink.

    Hollywood movies are still my favorite. The last movie I watched was Kingsman. OMG, so cool! Great! Funny! 9/10. LOL. But to be honest, I prefer the last version before this one.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be? 

    Islamophobia. If this world can escape Islamophobia, I think it should be more peaceful. I want “them” not using Islam as an alibi to be a terrorist. And I want “another them” not rejecting anyone who wears hijab or goes to the Mosque to pray.

    Hello! Well, I’m a third year medical student from Indonesia and I’m 19 years old. I spend most of my life leaving in Jakarta but since I have to go to college, I live in Karawaci for now.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Fit in. Maybe? Haha. I love any style, since it involves stepping out of your comfort zone and demand you to try new things, also for me to be able to try a lot of styles and fit into it is an advantage that we should refer to. But nowadays, mainly, I’m really into vintage style.

    Is there a preferred side you have to taking selfies?

    I rarely take selfies though, but when I do I get to say I like my front side but a little bit to the right. This could also be a tip for everyone out there like me that has a big square face, to show your sharp jaw line.

    What hobbies do you have?

    Dance. For sure. It has been my jam since I was 6 years old.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Coffee. I know coffee can be bitter but if you put the right amount of sweetener to it, it will actually taste good. It applies to me as well.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before?

    There was this one time when I was a little tipsy and unconsciously I dragged one of my guy friends to a female toilet with me without purpose and the waiter stopped us right away. I felt like my face was about to drop to the ground at that time.

    If you dropped everything and went on a road trip, where would you go?

    Some island far away where nobody could find me so I don’t need to look pretty all the time.

    Is there something you totally don’t get about guys? 

    I’m always curious with guys who are being over protective to his girlfriend. Like saying “no” to literally everything she does makes no sense to me. Even though I’m single, that actually makes me wonder.

I am rather quiet when I meet new people but once I get to know that person and his or her character then ignorance I started out I was very unique at all yes, both in friends because a lot of my friends who told me it was typical of people who do not want to mix with everyone do not know what else close, friends think I am a snob when it was not .. and nothing more to say in my face that looked fierce if not a smile, but originally I was humorous Lol.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    For me fashion is very important for all the ladies, but every woman has their expertise in designing a style of her own, including me because I am very unique. Once included in a fashion that I want, I want to be different from the others because I was among those who seek to know about fashion styles latest daily basis and in the world of modeling there is also a lot of knowledge that I can be the one of our styles in the dress because it’s very important what else by the time we got into industrial films or television. One of the fashion styles I like is from Korea, and love the casual fashion style that is cool to be seen.

    If you could shop for free from any shop, which one will you choose?

    I am sure it will be to shop where there’s all the stuff that I like. I would choose to shop at Gucci, Chanel I guess, and Mango. Lovers of shopping hahaha and after that I will go to the jewelry store Lol.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    I am not superstitious but I believe the history of antiquity and I believe in nature, because for me it’s also natural for us to foreshadow her once we dream, given if it is a good or bad omen. Yes it is with a history of natural .. so without us knowing drugs which is very effective for us until now. Yes if we use them, it means that the days of our ancestors where it was unspoiled all hehehee.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I’ve ever received from among a lot of people are polite, appreciative of the more mature of me, for me it is the best for people who can judge us for me, that beautiful face is not important if his attitude does not correspond to his face ..     Attitude, love myself and love others love is universal, not just love between fellow boyfriend but love it a lot, love of family, friends, and appreciate people, whether it be lower or higher because for me the most important thing if we want to succeed because I still continued to study for it, masi lot of shortcomings which I have therefore if I am given a choice I would choose it

    Which are your favorite types of food?

    My favorite type of food does what ya ..? umm much really because I was hooked culinary so surely like to eat anything but the point anyway ahahahaa I love food like ramen, eat sushi ya so

    How will you describe an ideal date?

    My ideal date for it if there is a special one of his anniversary date I created my ideal date what else if there is a boyfriend but if no boyfriend hell how ya sure its not special lol
