    Thank you SimplySxy for having me for this interview. I am a cosplayer from China, currently living in Singapore. You can call me Yukiko or 小鱼 (xiao yu)

    My cosname was supposed to be Kiko or 小鱼 (xiaoyu) in Chinese. But more and more people started calling me Yukiko instead, and I sticked with that name.

    When did you start to cosplay?

    I started cosplaying since 26 Nov 2016 (AFASG 2016).

    Which characters have you enjoyed cosplaying before?

    My favourite character to cosplay is Rem from Rezero. I have cosplayed many versions of her and I am planning to do more.

    Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

    Except cosplay and anime, I also love singing and playing the piano. I also love to play games like League of Legends and 王者荣耀 (King of glory)

    What is your beauty regime like to look so pretty?

    I think my beauty regime is focusing on skincare. Many people neglect the importance of skincare and focus on solely makeup. But I think skincare is important as well, as a good canvas to work on makes a huge difference.

    Keeping a clear skin is important, so stock up on your face wash and a good makeup remover is super important. Also, even though I am not a day over 20, I have been using anti-aging/moisturising products and eye creams. And of course as a teenager, I do stock up on acne products on those days I am getting breakouts.

    If you could be a cartoon character for real, who will you be?

    I would hope to become any of the characters from Puella Magi Madoka Magica who sacrificed themselves for people they love to be honest. I think that is very noble and the whole story inspired me a lot back then.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    When I just started cosplaying for about a month. I participated in a small cosplay competition cosplaying as Kuriyama Mirai. I prepared myself well with a short skit. There is a part where I had to swing my prop knife (made of wood by the way).

    As I was quite shy back then, I was very nervous on stage and my hands was super sweaty. So during the performance, my knife swung out of my hands and hit the LED screen behind me, almost flying over the screen hitting the escalator behind it. I ran to fetch my knife and continued my performance blushing through out.

    And of course… I didn’t win. My cosplay wasn’t that great and I flung my performance.

    But it was a good experience and I got to see many other awesome cosplayers and performances!

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Hahaha! Perhaps a recent one would be during Gamestart 2018, when I cosplayed as Rem Nurse, an event security checked my Exhibitor pass and suddenly told me he needed medical attention saying that his heart was in pain. I actually panicked for a moment thinking he really needed help, but then realized it was a pick up line….

    I think sexy comes from within. It is a feeling, you don’t really have to dress revealing to be sexy. It is a vibe, something like a grownup vibe? (which I don’t have, so I am sad…)

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    To be honest every photoshoot is a great memory to me. The experiences I gain through every photoshoot contributes to my character building so I will remember all the photoshoots I have with the helper and photographer.

    When did you get started into cosplay?

    I started cosplaying 3 years ago and I totally fell in love and addicted with it. I remember my first cosplay event was a Animangaki as Rory Mercury from GATE. It was really a culture shock for me but I slowly began to like the culture of the events. Up to date it still holds the record for my most pictures taken with me in an event XD! I love Animangaki.

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I will normally arrange for photoshoots or go to events during the weekend but whenever I have any free time, I will play Overwatch! Please come carry me in Overwatch you guys!

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I am not an alcoholic person but am quite picky with foods. I love to explore as long as it is not an exotic food and tastes great!

    If you can be a cosplay character for real, who will you be?

    I will say Rory Mercury from Gate! She is forever young and is a badass with great wisdom.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Milk flavor because you can change into many different flavors with some added touch but still retain the goodness of the milk~ <3

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    During my secondary school, when MSN was still the boom, I had this very first friend friend and classmate that I made from MSN. We often chatted together because he was my only online friend at that time, but one day he sends a long confession with sparkles and sweet content to me, it was very awkward and funny since I never receive anything like that in the past.  Lastly it turns out to be his friend pranking or so he says.  After that he blocked me and it stayed awkward ever since. Not much of a juicy content but it was funny, I was 13. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

    How to Choose the Best Mattress for Wedding Night?

    Do you want to learn how to choose the best mattress for the wedding night? If so, I suggest that you check out this guide I made!

    Your first night as official “husband and wife” happens right after your wedding. Of course, many things can happen in that time. You might spend it arranging your gifts or start a pre-honeymoon stage. However, most of the couples that I know have slept during right after their wedding.

    In any of these cases, a mattress plays an important role. Always remember that even as an official married couple, the need for sleep and rest will never dissipate. In this article, I will teach you how to choose the best mattress for the wedding night. Sounds exciting, right? Let’s get started!

    Newly-wed couples should be health conscious. You cannot grow a family in an environment that has many health deterrents such as allergens. But sadly, a lot of mattresses out there violate this rule.

    You can elude this problem by choosing a mattress that has a CertiPUR-US certification. It is a third-party rating system that guarantees that the foam used is free from formaldehyde, heavy metals, mercury, lead, phthalates, and flammable materials. The CertiPUR-US also assesses if the mattress can improve the air quality of a particular room.

    Most of my mattresses have this certification. It is a noteworthy consideration that you should never ignore even in choosing upholsteries. If you want to enjoy your first night together, make sure that your mattress is free from any hazards!

    Get the Right Firmness

    Regardless of the purpose of the mattress, its firmness will always remain an essential factor. It is a determinant if a particular mattress is comfortable or supportive. Fortunately, you can get the appropriate firmness of a mattress without really guessing.

    A firmness scale is being used to measure this particular attribute. One (1) is the softest and ten (10) is the firmest. However, I don’t recommend that you get mattresses that are within these extremities. Ideally, a product with a firmness range of 5 – 6 is considered as medium firm. Many sleeping gurus consider it as the safest choice for first-time mattress buyers.

    Take into account that your weight is also a consideration here. Since you will lie down as a couple, it is a given already that the mattress will carry double the weight. You might want to get a slightly firm option (7 – 8) if you don’t want to sink at all. Too soft can disrupt your intimate moments as well.

    Size it Right

    Because you are no longer sleeping alone, you will need to move on a mattress that has a larger size. For your wedding night, a huge option will be beneficial. You will be able to cuddle and roll with your beloved without the worry of falling off.

    Accordingly, a regular sleeper moves around 50 times on their bed. Therefore, it is safe to assume that this figure doubles if a couple is lying on the mattress. Moving while you are asleep is not a problem. Just make sure that the mattress is big enough to handle it.

    For your wedding night, I do suggest that you get a king-size or queen-size mattress. As of now, they are the most significant options available in the market today. They will be able to contain two people and can still provide adequate space so that you can still feel comfortable.

    Find a Good Support

    Aside from being comfortable, a mattress should be able to provide adequate support to your body. It is a necessary feature to ensure that your first night together will be a soothing experience.

    A good mattress should be able to accommodate any sleeping position. It doesn’t matter if you are a side sleeper and your partner is a back sleeper. As long as the mattress the appropriate level of support, shifting from one sleeping position to one another should not be a problem.

    Also, you should know that a supportive mattress can help in the proper spine alignment. It will prevent the aggravation of pressure points that can lead to muscle pains in the different parts of your body. Your wedding night should be free from any forms of aches and nuisances.

    Wrapping it Up

    Sleeping with your wife or husband for the first time is an experience worth reminiscing. You might have been able to sleep together in the past, but it the feeling of happiness and satisfaction gravitate when you do this after you became an official couple. For that reason alone, it is important that you make all things right, including the mattress that you are going to use.

    It is necessary that you can make your wedding night special. Therefore, I suggest that you follow the guidelines that I have enumerated on this article. They will help you find the mattress that can turn everything into magical moments. The night is yours, so make sure that you will seize it correctly.

    Probably Emilia from anime Re: Zero. I really like this character and only recently I was able to cosplay her.

    Who will you like to cosplay in future?

    In fact, I have a lot of plans for cosplay haha.

    Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

    Yes, I like to take photographs, and shoot videos.

    Have you been in a funny or embarrassing moment before that is funny now when looking back?

    There were a lot of fun moments. For example, recently at the festival when I put on my costume, I already took photographs in it, then I realized that some of the details were not correctly put on. Then when I noticed it, I was so ashamed of it because I know and love this character!

    How much of a party animal are you?

    I am very sociable with my friends, but with those people whom I do not know, I am not very sociable.

    If you could have a superpower, which will it be?

    I would like to manage time well or be able to fly.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I am disappointed by people and their attitude. For example when the other person shows or says that my interests are weird or silly.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    I think my most memorable one is a shoot where I first got into Boudoir/Lingerie. It was a bit embarrassing but I managed to pull through and achieve a satisfying result.

    What is your fashion style like?

    I like anything comfortable. I mostly wear one-piece dresses or shorts and a t-shirt. I do wear fancier evening dresses to fine dining and other formal events but it’s not too often.

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I work. Since I own a business, I spend my free time researching for more information on the market and what else I could do to improve. Otherwise I sleep, eat, and hang with my friends sometimes.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I’m not too picky with my food and drink. There’s nothing that I absolutely hate and cannot consume, but by choice I try to keep my alcohol intake very limited nowadays, and hardly drink at a party.

    What is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

    Hmm… I guess you could say either a micro-bikini or a ball gag? (Even though I only use those items for photo-shoot purpose and not for kink).

    If you can be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    I love the images of strong women, so I would definitely want to be Mulan!

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I think it was when I was in high school. He was really quiet in class and barely ever talked to anyone. I was this active and energetic person. At the end of my Junior year he wrote me a love letter and asked a classmate to pass it to me, to my complete surprise. That might be the first time I’ve gotten one? I had to turn it down though since I was too into childish stuff to be in a relationship.

    For me, “sexy” comes in many forms. Tasteful lingerie and boudoir clothing definitely do spell “sexy” as personal items/accessories but there are more to that. What I find “sexy” also lies in how a person carries themselves. A man is very “sexy” when he offers to hold my hand when I have to walk down the stairs with heels, or pull my chair out before I sit down. A woman can be “sexy” just by her smiling and being happy, caring for those around her.  I definitely think the inner “sexy” is what I connect more with, while the outer “sexy” appearance is what I enjoy looking at.

    Hi, it’s a pleasure for me to be interviewed by SimplySxy. So to begin I was born in Moldova and I came to Italy when I was nine years old. I lived on an island in Tuscany and then I studied in Pisa and now I’m living in Milan.

    What do you love most about being a model?

    Like in every job there are positive and negative aspects but what I love the most is the artistic part, to create something new, something that didn’t exists before. Hoping to do always better. I’m also interested in taking photos, not just posing so this two components help me to do better in each role.

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    Ehm, not really no. I just wash my face in the morning and in the evening and I put a moisturizing cream. At least onces a week I do I scrub and a mud mask. These are really simple steps, I don’t use a lot of products or expensive ones but I do pay attention to which products I use because I use only ecological and biological cosmetics for my face and my hair also.

    Are there any guilty pleasures you for food that you can’t live without?

    Let’s start with the fact that I’m a fresh new vegan and I will be vegan for the rest of my life. I didn’t find this choice difficult or suffering because I really believe in what I do. So to come back to your question, there isn’t a specific food, I just love food in general, I love to eat a little bit of everything every time, I like to try every dish possible. Of course I eat sometimes junk food but I try not to. I’ll tell you some foods I love: mango, avocado, pop corn etc..

    Have you ever felt nervous before a photoshoot?

    Yes, sometimes I feel nervous when I don’t know the photographer I’m shooting with. But when I start posing, I relax and every tension is gone.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    I don’t have one destination of my dreams. I dream to visit all of the world. I know it’s quite difficult but I can try. Of course one of my top destinations is Paris and I’m going there so I’m very excited. I always dreamed about Japan now that I think about it. I’ve always been fascinated by their world, so different, like a magic place out of the world.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    The superpower that I would like to have is without doubt teleportation. I’m often travelling and it’s a beautiful part of the travel too but I would save a lot of time and money. Imagine being one moment in Milan and the moment after in Japan for example and again in Milan, wonderful.

    How often do you get guys coming up to you to get to know you?

    Not so often as you think I guess. On socials like every day but I can just ignore them, it’s more easy. In real life not so easy. I think that I am used to it not just like a photomodel but like a woman. I’m not a supermodel and I’m not famous so I’m a normal girl in the every day life and I manage with boys like every girl, I kindly say that I’m not interested.

    One thing I don’t like about all this situations is that I love getting to know new people and I try being nice to everybody but maybe someone could misunderstand this kindness with an other type with interest.

    Interesting question, I can only think about one definition of sexy and it’s self confidence, about your body of course but most important is self-confidence of you as a person, knowing your values, your capabilities, appreciate and accept all aspects of you. I know it’s not easy at all but with time we can work on these and get always a better person and sexier in consequence.

    Hi everyone! My name is Greta, I’m 24-years old, I’m Italian and I’m originally from Milan. I moved to London in 2012 for University and have been living there for the past six years.

    When did your love for traveling start?

    I’m lucky enough that my parents have always taken me on trips with them from when I was very young. My very first international trip was at the age of five when my dad took me to Disneyland in Paris. You can say that was the start of my love for travelling, once I had a taste of new and foreign cultures, I just couldn’t get enough!

    Which 1-2 memorable travel experiences have you had so far that is unforgettable?

    I try to find something memorable in all my travels, however if I had to pick one experience that I will always remember, it would be all the hikes we did in New Zealand when I was there in May. I spent one week road tripping with my best friends around the South Island of New Zealand, and every day we made sure to do at least one hike. My favorite but also the toughest was Roy’s Peak. This is a 16km return hike with a 1km incline. Reaching the top was extremely challenging but the feeling of exhilaration when we did, coupled with the stunning views of the snowy mountain tops peaking through the clouds, made for a truly unforgettable experience. Living it with my best friends made it even better.

    What other hobbies or interests do you have?

    I’m a huge fan of water sports. I’ve tried pretty much any form of sport that can be done in water, including swimming, surfing, sailing, synchronized swimming, water polo and windsurfing. Training in a pool isn’t particularly fun so I love travelling to beach destinations where I can try practicing these sports in the sea without the confines of a pool.

    Have you been in an embarrassing moment before that is funny now when looking back?

    Way too many to tell them all! Some still make me cringe more than laugh when I look back on them. Most recently, slipping on the sailing boat I was working on this summer just after having given the safety demonstration and whacking my head. Needless to say, on that day people did follow my advice and always held onto a railing.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?

    I would love to learn another language. I consider myself mother tongue in both English and Italian and I can make myself understood in Spanish, but I’d love to learn another language, especially a tough one like Arabic or Chinese. I even gave it a try at University and attended a language class that the Arabic society organized but it clashed with water polo training and I never had the time to pick it up again.

    Some consider also coding and programming a language and I’d love to learn that too. I manage everything for my blog by myself which means very often I end up breaking something in the HTML coding and have to ask someone for help to get my site back up and running.

    If you could time travel, where will you go?

    I’ve always been a fan of fantasy and historical fiction books and movies so I like the idea of travelling back to before the Industrial Revolution, to Europe during the Middle Ages, Renaissance or the Age of Discovery. The idea of living in a time where there was still a whole world to discover excites me! Realistically though, I think I’m a bit too used to modern comforts to actually enjoy living in the past!

    Which city or area do you feel is most romantic for a getaway?

    It really depends on your idea of romantic! Some people find Paris romantic but the idea of a busy and chaotic street doesn’t appeal to me. I’d much rather go to a quiet beach destination where you can have a drink on the beach at sunset, undisturbed by the crowds.

    Confidence. To me when someone is comfortable in their own skin they appear “sexy”.

    What is one experience everyone should try at least once in their life?

    Anything that you are afraid of. Facing our fears is the best way to prove to ourselves we can accomplish anything.

    My site was originally started from a breakup. At the time, I just had a tragic 5-year relationship breakup and writing was my only way to escape the pain. At first, I started writing and blogging about my feelings to just pour it all out.     How is a typical day like for you?

    I’m an early person, so I start my days early. I check and respond my emails first because I work with various international brands for Instagram, and sometimes they might email me late at night when I’m already asleep – this is just because their working day is my night time here in Calgary. Then, I pace my day with blogging, editing photos for Instagram, and doing other chores. After all that, I always find time to workout at night, preferably after dinner or so.

    It’s crazy because I start my full-time work as a Pricing Coordinator soon, so I’m going to have busier days with balancing my blog and career together!

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    10!!!!

    I love food. I genuinely enjoy eating especially when I’m in the company of the people I love and adore. For me, food is an essential part of life, not only because we need it to live, but also because of the fact that it serves a connection between people.

    Connection as in eating together and socializing, understanding other people’s roots through different ethnic cuisines, and eating great food to support a community and their business. Overall, a foodie understands how all of these are so important, and when combined together it truly makes any food taste ten times better.

    Is there any food you’re dying to create and share the recipe on your site in future?

    YES!!! I had been dying to create and share more traditional Filipino foods in my blog. The only problem is, I’m still learning and making sure that these recipes are as authentic, delicious and Dezleigh-certified as possible. Hopefully, in the next momths coming up, my site will feature dishes like adobo, kare-kare, minudo, and Bicol express.

    Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

    I watched Sicario last night with my boyfriend, Jason. It was an action movie and I’m not much of an action fan. I’m more of the romantic comedy/ comedy/ science fiction/ Disney/ travel documentaries type of girl. Overall, I thought Sicario was just okay.

    If you could be a fictional character, who will it be?

    I would be Mulan. She’s a BOSS!!!! She literally loves her family and country so much that she went to war for them. I think she’s brave, strong, and truly a loving character. Mulan for me represents a strong woman, who has the will power to fight for the people she loves. Mulan, somewhat embodies me, because I too, would definitely fight for the ones I love. On top of all that, she ends up winning in love with a sexy and strong general!!!

    What turns you off on a date?

    A guy with no manners!!! I think that a man must always be courteous especially when on dates!!! Opening the door for a lady, saying “thank you” when necessary, being polite, and even offering to pay for the bill, are so attractive in a man when on a date.

    Now, I’m not saying a man must always pay for the bill, because women of today are more than capable of paying for their own food, but offering or just taking the initiative to do so is a classic gentleman move that must be observed!!! So yeah, if my date doesn’t have basic date etiquette, I find this quite a turn off.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Dezleigh. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Sexy, for me is confidence and loving yourself above all your flaws and weaknesses. No one will ever fit the perfect mold of sexy, thus it is important for women to embrace their own sexiness.

    The sexiest thing in a woman is her confidence and self-love, knowing that she is beautiful inside and out – this is the type of sexiness we can truly see and creates lasting impact that will get everyone shook.

You have to be engaging enough to hold their attention. And trust me, just starting a cam model and going to nude right out of the gate, that isn’t going to cut it even a little bit. A naked boring personality is worse than the average boring one.

    Do your research, make sure that you have studied and looked around, talk to other webcam owners and find out what is best and what to stay away from. Some of the camsite owners are not always the best; they steal and treat you like crap, so do your homework on this. There is no such thing as a bad question, so ask it!! They can only tell you they don’t know or won’t give you the time, which probably means they don’t know either, so ask it until you find the best you can find.

    Don’t just make a promise that you are going to do this or that and not do it, that isn’t going to fly anywhere, and word travels, so don’t think it won’t. The chatter between members is worse than town gossip, simply because they have a bigger audience. If you promise it, then do it!

    Don’t be afraid to use your words, if you are not comfortable doing something asked of you, just politely say no, it isn’t a bad word, it is letting them know you have boundaries and you will be surprised at those that will stay knowing you have that class, and are not desperate.

    Don’t even consider complaining about other cam models, that is not going to do you any favors and it is not a classy thing to do. They aren’t coming to see you to hear you whine, so don’t do it. If they ask you, just politely find a way to let them know that that isn’t your thing.

    Don’t be a sloppy drunk on your camshow – it is not attractive at all and to some valuable members, it is off putting and may lose you some members. It is fine to have a glass of wine or two, that is actually sexy to some people, just don’t overdo it and get so drunk you cannot sit up.

    Move around a little, you aren’t made of stone and they want to see you in your element, not just sitting there. You don’t have to get up and walk around the room, unless you want, of course, but the worst thing is to just sit there and read what they are saying and answering. That is polite, sure, but they are there to see what you are made of, not to sit and watch you just sit there.

    Be you, be who you are, if you aren’t the charismatic, flirty type that is fine, but be you. You can play, flirt, and just about anything, but make sure you are who you are for your audience. Those that do not like who you are, they will move on and others will come in, knowing you are honest and real.

    Above any and all things, never ever put your personal information out there on your cam show. Be sure and have a sense of autonomy, and don’t be too transparent. There are some real crazies out there and some will use that information against you in a very bad way. Keep the personal things personal. They only need to know your camshow is right there in front of them and that is as close as they need to get.
