Hi Lani, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

My full name is Siara Leilani Khanthachack, i’m a part time student full time mommy of a Yorkie mix, I’m from Dallas Texas, but currently residing in Chicago.

I would say that my mix is very exotic because I’ve never come across anyone with my mix I feel blessed for that.

When did you begin modelling and where did the interest come from?

My interest for modeling started when I began to hang out with guys who were into JDM and cars, I thought it was fascinating then I became obsessed with the goddess herself Dannie Riel, I would tell my friends how I wish I was like her and they would tell me I could and that I should try so as soon as I turned 18 I decided I would give it a try.

What are the perks you enjoy most about being a model?

The support I get from everyone, and VIP treatment haha.

Are you more comfortable in lingerie or bikini?

That’s easy, I would definitely have to say that I’m a lingerie kind of girl.

I can lounge around in lingerie all day and be the comfiest.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party girl are you?

A solid nine, I can’t say I’m the life of the party but I’m definitely close to it.

If you had the choice of any superpower, what will you choose and how will your superhero costume look like?

That’s a good question, I’ve never put much thought into that but if I had to choose a superpower I would definitely want to have the ability to move things with my mind, so telekinesis is definitely for me; For the costume I would want something leather and skin tight, kind of like Cat woman’s.

Which is your favorite body part?

My favorite body part are my eyes, I have been told I have scary eyes and that makes me feel a little devilish; eyes are so beautiful you have to the power to do anything with them, a simple look and you can have a person falling for you, if done right of course.

What is the funniest or weirdest attempt a guy has tried to pick you up?

Hmmm, I don’t think I’ve had any really weird or super funny stories, most times guys just try to message me through social media or they’ll hit on me at like the grocery store nothing too odd.

Who is Tessa?

Hello merfolks! I was born in Boston, Ma, but I’m from Puerto Rico and YES I’m Latina (though I don’t look it very much). I’m into body modifications, photography and modeling, anything artsy really. What’s one fun fact about yourself that’s not known to many?

I learned swimming thanks to the Little Mermaid and I still swim like a mermaid and I’m totally obsessed with the color purple.

What turns you on?

I’m really into biology, something about it just draws me in big time! And smiles! <3

You’ve many fabulous tattoos. Is there an interesting story behind one of them?

I’d say the bird on my arm. I’m really into art and I have very talented friends. A friend of mine doodled it in her class and showed it to me. I feel in love and asked her to give it to me so that I can get it tattooed.

Favorite drink?

I actually don’t drink alcohol in general, just eww. But I really love McCafes of Oreos and Fruit Smoothies!

Do you prefer to be in bikini or lingerie?

Lingerie, hands down! I love it so much!

If you had an opportunity to learn anything in this world, what will it be?

How to be more patient. Patience is a quality that I tend to lack.

Which movie character best represents you?

Ariel, from The Little Mermaid! Or for those who have maybe seen Youtubes’ series “The Most Popular Girls in School” I’d most likely be Deandra, hahaha.

What will cosplayer SAMazon dress up as this Halloween?

Find out more about cosplayer SAMazon on how she chooses which characters to cosplay, the common misconceptions people have about cosplay and disasters that happen during an event!

Hi SAMazon, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I’m 22 and still really new to Cosplay. I officially started in January 2014 then had to take a year off because I deployed to the Middle East. I’m an Oregonian since birth and a member of the Oregon Army National Guard. Cosplay has become my passion and I have made so many amazing friends. It’s really addicting when you can nerd out with a bunch of people and everyone is so amazing and nice.

Where did your interest in Cosplay come from?

I’ve always loved dressing up. My mom was always buying random costume pieces for me, Halloween is my families favorite holiday. During school I always went all out for spirit week and even did a little bit of theater. Cosplay was just the next step in my love of costuming. Also being 5ft 11inches makes buying costumes a challenge so I taught myself to sew which opens up so many possibilities. Now I’m addicted to it and I’ve even gotten my family into cosplaying.

How do you decide which characters to Cosplay?

Choosing characters is the hardest part for me. I have a few questions I have to ask myself before starting a new cosplay. What characters do I love right now? Who can I relate to and would have fun being at a convention? The most important question is can I make this costume with my skills right now? My skills are always improving, but I want to be able to do my characters justice and execute the costume well. I chose costumes that will make me learn new things and challenge me, but I try not to bite off more then I can handle.

What goes into the preparation for each character you Cosplay

So much research. I find as many pictures as I can. Then I sketch out each piece of the costume and imagine how I would make it real. What materials will I use? What is in my budget? How difficult will it be? Then I plan my order of attack, so I can keep myself on track for the con I want to wear the costume too.

If you had the chance to have a superpower, what will you choose and how will your costume look like?

I’d want superhuman agility and reflexes. Why? Because I want to be a super ninja. So my costume would look kinda like a ninja outfit, but more super hero themed and would definitely have the color purple. Maybe I’ll make it into an original character cosplay someday.

What common misconceptions about Cosplay do you often hear?

The biggest misconception I hear about cosplay is everyone wanting to be cos famous and always winning contests. Cosplay isn’t about either of those things. It’s about the love of dressing up and needing out with people who like the things you do. I just entered on contest, not to win but to show off all the work I put into my newest cosplay. My roller derby Harley Quinn. I had a blast getting on stage, but I of course didn’t win. A lot of people who are “cos famous” don’t make a lot of money. They do it because they love it. Most of the time they will tell you they got lucky and happened to get to know the right people.

I just want people to know cosplay is for fun and if you aren’t having fun you aren’t doing it right.

Have you seen any Cosplay disasters which did not turn out as expected?

I haven’t seen any major disasters, but I have seen and had many minor ones. Things always find away to fall apart at the worst times. I had a belt buckle that fell off right before prejudging for a contest. Thank goodness I have an emergency repair kit in my bag. Fashion tape saved me. After prejudging I was able to go to a booth ran by some of the greatest people ever. They were running a cosplay repair booth. They had hot glue guns and a sewing machine, safety pins and other little odds and ends to help out cosplayers.

Halloween is coming shortly. Do you have any character in mind which you will be going as?

Well I’ve just finished watching all 9 seasons of Dragon Ball Z and I’ll be going to a Halloween party as Videl. I really love her character. I usually go for easy and comfortable costumes for Halloween.

Who is Mallory and where is she from?

Hello! My name is Mallory and also known as Mallorybby on social media. Currently a 24 year old with a big heart and a positive vibe. Full time nurse who is passionate in taking care of others and also hoping to inspire many in the fashion world as a stylist on Instagram. I am from Southern California, born and raised.

Name 3 fun and quirky facts about you?

1) I love to explore! I will wake up and find places to go for an adventure. I can be very spontaneous!

2) I’m such a huge foodie! I will literally go on yelp and search the best places to eat!

3) I have such a bubbly personality and I’m usually always smiling. So if you’re sad, be around me! I would love to lift your spirits up 🙂

How will you describe your fashion style?

I have different tastes and styles. I’ll wake up one day feeling girly and I’ll wear a dress.. Some days I’ll wake up feeling gloomy and wear all black. It just depends on the day, weather and mood.

Which song/songs best describes you?

Right now I’ve been going through an emotional roller coaster. Even positive people will go through heart ache. I lost my grandmother and my boyfriend all in one month. But I will never allow myself to be unhappy. I control my own happiness & currently the song. Unbreakable smile by Tori Kelly has helped a lot and it describes my energy right now.

If you could meet anyone living or dead, who will you meet?

Honestly, all I can think about is my grandfather who passed away 9 years ago. I never got the chance to give him a call or see him. What hurts me is I never got the chance to tell him “thank you” and that I love him. Till this day it hurts me.

What can a guy do to catch your attention?

So I have a hand fetish! I know weird right! But a guy with nice big working hands with nice cut finger nails always catch my attention! It shows that he puts in work and that he takes care of himself (because some guys are lazy cutting their nails and that’s just gross). Also, a guy whom I can just have a decent chat with.. Who not necessarily is trying to get at me but get to know me.

Have you done anything crazy and not regret it?

Right now I am currently on a 30 day challenge. I work out every single day and I’m following a specific meal plan. People think I am crazy and it does seem a bit much but I am definitely not regretting!

What about a guy attracts you?

If a guy attracts me, I usually never approach them first. But I am confident enough to show him my smile and hopefully that will give him the encourage to say hi.

Malaysian emcee and host Serena Choong

You’ve probably heard her voice on radio and seen her on TV. Now meet the lady behind all that – Serena Choong, as she shares valuable tips on how to be successful as an emcee and her journey from radio DJ to TV.

Hi Serena, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

HELLO and it is MY pleasure to be here! Well, I’d been on radio for about 150 years 😉 so you probably would’ve heard my voice here and there.

Ok I’ll be serious now, I will NEVER forget my first job as it’s impossible – I started as a Hitz fm radio DJ at 00:00 January 1, year 2000 (Pretty hard to forget) I was also the ONLY girl on the station for a while. Since then I’d moved onto hitz.tv, did some stints on ntv7, some ASTRO channels, capital tv, and once as judge on Hot Guys Who Cook (on Diva Universal). I was last a breakfast DJ on Mix fm. Radio kickstarted my emceeing career – which is what I do mostly now, so I’m very thankful for my roots.

OH, I was also a club DJ and am still a voice over talent. ALWAYS wanted to be that voice on the train, in the elevator etc. None of that yet but I am the operator voice in some companies automated systems 😉

How will you describe your fashion style?

BORING. I hope not!!! I would say casual chic. I whip out the 6” heels normally only when I’m hosting. Otherwise it’s skate shoes, skinnies, loose shirts, blazers.

My go-to skinny jeans in every shade of blue imaginable, black and white; my many many white shirts, my blazer. My many many rings! Love em!

I’m every retailers dream! I shop EVERYWHERE! I went through an online shopping phase at one point – stuff from the UK, the States, Korea, you NAME IT! My credit card company was VERY happy with me needless to say!

What tips can you give for someone who inspires to be a radio or TV host?

I will never forget the first and most precious advise I got from my then immediate boss, now CEO of ASTRO Radio Jake Abdullah – BE YOURSELF. If you put on an accent or try to be anyone else, people can tell in a second and won’t relate to you. Be the best yourself that you can be and you will go far.

Along the way I learnt many lessons – be punctual, be courteous, be accountable, and remember that the CLIENT is ALWAYS right! An emcee and host is hired to reflect the best of whatever the client is trying to portray on a programme or at an event. Do that, and you should be just fine.

Do you think you have a sexy voice?

GOD NO! I don’t know any one who thinks that of themselves! I have a very low voice that I know. Sometimes the frequency’s so low you can hardly pick up on what I’m saying. Some have called my voice “Alphalt”.

What do you do most when you are bored?

I don’t get much chance to be bored – I have been blessed with a steady stream of hosting and voice over jobs. We have a bunch of Ready-to-wear super cool onesies for your precious little ones. With prints like #OOTD, #THEBOSS, #KEEPCALMANDPOOPOO …

Who is Tran Nguyen and where is she from?

I was born in Manila, Philippines but raised in San Jose since I was 9 months old. I’m a mother of 2, a boy and a girl.

What is your beauty secret to looking so gorgeous?

Haha thank you, but no secret at all! I love makeup, I guess I’m just good at it.

Do you follow a strict diet?

I used to! I used to want to be skinny, but I’ve been trying to gain weight lately, but it’s so hard. I have to put in a lot of work and eat a lot for me to gain just a little!

From a scale of 1-10, how much of a party girl are you?

Probably a 3. When I’m out, I’m very wild and outgoing but I don’t get out much. My schedules very busy, I go to school full time, then I have my kids after that so when they go to bed, I’m exhausted.

Name 3 fun facts about yourself which is not usually known.

Hmm.. These aren’t so much fun facts, but they’re facts!

I ran away from home at age 16.

I’ve been to 14 schools total.

I got away with tickets and arrests before, I don’t know how haha

Cosplayer and Pokemon fan Annasthesia Awful

Annasthesia Awful is probably the biggest Pokemon fan we have interviewed on SimplySxy and will ever be. Hi Annasthesia thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Thank you guys for having me! Oh boy! I am one of the few born and raised Floridians I know who hasn’t moved away yet. I can’t do snow and the cold. This is home to me, but I’m lucky enough to have traveled the world and never know where I’ll be month to month. As far as “me” and who I am, I’m probably the opposite of what a lot of people assume about models, especially nude models. I’m just an incredibly shy, introverted, insecure little homebody who spends all of their spare time hiding from the sun, watching Nip/Tuck & Game of Thrones reruns, and playing video games! Also, I love and have raised cats my entire life. That part is important, lol.

What kind of genre do you love to model?

I love just having the opportunity to be in front of the camera, no matter what I’m doing. I have noticed, though, that despite all of my personal insecurities, I feel like I’m most confident once my clothes come off. I have no idea why that is, but I’ve learned to embrace it. That aside, I love doing cosplay modeling. It gives you the chance to really have fun with that you’re shooting, and to turn into someone else in front of the camera!

Your tattoos are amazing and very eye catching. Do you have a personal favorite for one of them?

I’m most fond of the aquatic sleeve on my right arm that I’ve been working on for the past few years with Adam France in Columbus, Ohio. I only get to fly out for a sitting about once a year, and he’s my favorite artist by far that I’ve worked with. Everything in my sleeve was designed by him. It’s fun being able to tell people, when they ask about my tattoos, “Oh that? Yeah, it’s a rabbit and a squid battling for a carrot sandwich.”

How did your love for Pokemon begin?

Innocently, and full of adventure, haha! I remember when they released the TV show in the US when I was younger and another girl in my class and I were so pumped. We had magazine ads for the upcoming games in our school lockers. You know, like cool kids do. I’ve played every Pokemon game since their Red/Blue releases.

Do you have any pet peeves or things that particularly annoy you?

Oh boy. Not using your blinker when you make a turn, not saying ‘Please’ and ‘Thank You,’ pretty much all willful ignorance and close mindedness. One big one is when people come up to me and grab my arms and start twisting them around to look at my tattoos without even asking me. I’ll happily show you my skin art, but it’s never okay to grab a total stranger and inspect them without so much as a “Hello.”

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

Oh, I’ve been thinking about this since I was a kid! It’s still so hard to choose! It’s a cross tie between: being able to morph into any creature on demand, being able to read minds at will, or telekinesis. It’s a tough choice!

Which were the sexiest characters you have Cosplayed before?

I don’t know if I would call many of my cosplays “sexy,” lol. I play Misty, a 12 year old girl in Pokemon, and a Magikarp. I also have cosplayed Quinn from Daria, another young teenage girl, there’s Alex from A Clockwork Orange. I’d say Lilith, from Borderlands, is defintely sexy to me. Oddly, though, I’d say that my CL4P-TP cosplay (based on an anthropomorphized artistic design by artist NoFlutter) is probably my raciest cosplay.

Do you already have in mind your Halloween costume for this year?

Nope, lol. I usaed to always plan so far ahead for Halloween, but I’ve been so busy this year! It’ll be a surpise, to me and to everyone else.

Confidence. You can be Kate Upton or Mila Kunis and if you’re not confident enough to put yourself out there, to take the criticism from others for being and looking like yourself, then nothing will ever bud from that. Being brave enough to say “This is me, flaws and all. Take it or leave it” is incredibly sexy, in my eyes. Confidence is key.

Hi Melody, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi! It’s a pleasure to be featured! I’m Melody, a 22 year old college student, piano teacher, and aspiring model. I’m an introverted extrovert, I love the sun, going on adventures, online gaming, reading and I am obsessed with all things Disney. I am from the East San Francisco Bay Area, where I was born and raised!

How long have you been modeling and got into it in the first place?

I’m actually super brand new to the industry, I’ve been modeling since earlier this year. A lot of friends and family told me I had “the look” to get into the import scene but I never acted on it until recently. I was bullied a lot growing up, so I never had the confidence in myself to actually go for it, until one day I thought to myself, “What do I have to lose?” and did my first shoot. I immediately knew I wanted to dive deeper into the industry and I’ve been modeling ever since. It’s been an incredibly fun and exciting experience and I’ve met some awesome people along the way.

Do you have an interesting story behind one of your tattoos?

All 6 of my tattoos have incredibly significant meaning to me, and I put a ton of thought into each piece. My dove tattoo probably holds the most meaning to me. I didn’t know exactly when I was planning on getting it, but I knew I wanted a dove tattoo. The dove to me symbolizes peace, protection and love. I was going through a reallllllly tough time- constantly living in fear, was super anxious and depressed- basically hit rock bottom. I was driving on a super rainy day and out of nowhere, a dove actually landed on the hood of my car and as soon as I saw it, I felt at peace. I felt like it was a sign! My fear, anxiety & sadness immediately disappeared. I knew it was time to get my dove and went to the shop that same day.

Where can we find you partying on weekends?

Like I had mentioned previously, I’m an extroverted introvert, so I love going out and getting burnt sometimes, but other times I would much rather cuddle up in my blankets and watch Netflix until the wee hours of the morning. It really depends on my mood. During the days, I typically go on adventures to the beach or on a hike. At night, if I feel like going out, you can definitely find me out bar hopping.. .usually dancing or playing beer pong or pool. And, you know, getting into trouble.

Are you more comfortable in lingerie or bikini?

I am more comfortable in a bikini, for sure. I am a summer baby and I love the ocean, so a bikini is what I am most comfortable in! I go to the beach as much as I can. If I can wear a bikini 24/7 and not have it be weird, I totally would.

Which is your favorite body part?

I am obsessed with my dimple on my cheek, and it is what most people comment on first. I’m a very happy & bubbly person so I’m smiling all the time, and my dimple makes my smile stand out more. And not going to lie, I’m starting to love my booty! I’ve committed to hitting the gym on a daily basis and I’m on week 5… the changes I see in my body (mainly my butt, LOL) are incredible! My jeans don’t even fit anymore!

What is your favorite drink?

Water. I used to hate it but since I’ve started working out, I have a newfound love for ice cold water. Oh, you meant alcohol? I’m not a big drinker, so when I’m out at the bar I’ll just take a few shots of tequila, or have a vodka with RedBull and call it a night. When I’m out at dinner, I’ll have a fruity, girly blended drink. If I want something to drink while I’m relaxing, I’ll drink Lindeman Framboise which is a Belgian Style Ale that tastes like heaven in a glass… I could drink that shit like water.

What is the lamest pickup line you have heard?

“Hi my name is __________. Now you know what to scream tonight.” Like… uh, no. Can you not? I’m all for cheesy pickup lines (yeah, they actually work on me because they are so funny and cute!) but, come on now. LAME.

Hi Brittany, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi Everyone! Thanks for reading my interview, my name is Brittany and I am 28 years old from Philadelphia, PA. I have been modeling for about ten years now. I got my start in swimwear pageants, and still enjoy competing and modeling for carious nationwide model searches and brands! I also do a lot of commercial and print work and recently just dabbled into acting. Be sure to check out the Rocky Sequal “CREED” coming out this Thanksgiving, you might just find me in the ring of the main fight.

When did you begin modelling and where did the interest come from?

When I was 18 I won a swimwear contest for Ujena, after that I continued to pursue all sorts of opportunities!

What is behind your beauty or exercise regime to looking so fabulous?

I try to work out as much as possible, it is hard because I am on the road and busy a lot. Usually cardio after every weight training day, and one day for just cardio. For beauty I am always trying new makeup techniques, but the biggest thing is washing it off everynight and moisturizer is definitely a necessity to keep your skin looking fresh! I just started using Nerium, it’s a great anti-aging product!!

How will you describe your fashion style?

I’m all about getting dressed up, I love high fashion and designers I cant afford!! My favorite designer is Michael Costello and the Walter Collection, I would love to wear one of his pieces! Other than that I’m obsessed with Holt!

What is the craziest thing you have ever done and not regret?

Spur of the moment traveling, it’s the best thing you can do!

If you had the chance to time travel, where will you choose to go?

Back to my childhood!

Which is your favourite body part?

My smile.

What is the funniest or weirdest attempt a guy has tried to pick you up?

I would say most are weird, but the worst is when they pretend they already know you or met you, when I have a great memory and remember anyone I ever met!

Which fashion trend annoys Kimberly Truong?

Hi Kimberly, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

My name’s Kimberly Truong, I was born in Singapore and moved to Melbourne Australia when I was 9. I’m 19 now and studying Orthoptics (eyeballs) at Uni. My hobbies include make up, nail art, eating cheesecake, YouTube and playing Clash of Clans LOL

Do you have a preferred side or pose when taking selfies?

Anything that doesn’t require smiling hahaha.

How will you describe your personal style?

Less is more! I never really get into trends to be honest, I just wear what I think looks good. Lots of black and neutral colours!

Are there any fashion or beauty trends that annoy you?

Definitely! For one, when people have claimed they have “strong brow game” but actually their brows are so thick, dark and messy. AND they pair this look with no eye make up! That’s just my opinion though cause ultimately make up should make you feel good so if you love big brows rock it 🙂

What do you splurge on and save on?

I save on most things so I can splurge once in a while on other things like clothes, make up, concert tickets, tomato sauce packets (I hate having fries without sauce) and I never cheap out on food!

I’m really careful with my money but when it’s time to splurge I’ll definitely do it! Last year I spent $2’660 Hong Kong Dollars (approx $343 USD) at the MAC (make up) Store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong for my first real set of make up brushes and things hahhaa. I believe in saving money so when you’ve dealt with the necessities you can treat yourself right :D!

Have you ever had a secret admirer?

If I had one, they definitely kept it a secret hahaha.

What’s your favourite feature on the opposite sex?

Physical feature, maybe arms LOL, but non-physical feature probably intelligence.

If you had the chance to play a Disney character, who will it be?

Mulan, cause she’s Asian and fierce.
