    SoCal Cosplayer Jane Sin

Hi Jane, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hello! Thanks for having me. I’m a 26 year old Cosplayer based in SoCal. When I’m not working on cosplay I’m either at work, the gym, or playing games and cuddling with my cat Lola.

When and how did your interest in cosplay start?

I’ve always enjoyed making things, so I think it was only a matter of time before I merged that interest with my anime/game interests. A friend of mine encouraged me to make a cosplay with her 3 years ago, and I’ve been addicted ever since.

What is a typical day like for you?

I usually start out the day at work (I currently work in a genetics lab), answer emails and post on social media when I remember to. When I get home I’ll eat dinner, do chores, and then gym, play games, or work on cosplay. On weekends I try to work on cosplay as much as possible along with errands or photoshoots/cons. Admittedly it can be tough to juggle my projects and spending time with my friends, family, and SO.

Which cosplay character do you wish was real?

Can I wish all of them to be real?? I love them all for different reasons it would be really hard to pick just one!

How much of a foodie are you?

I’m usually not picky at all; I could go for a fancy hipster fusion place or Del Taco (their turkey tacos are pretty good). I don’t think I’m a great foodie haha. Although I do love cafes, donut and dessert places. Breweries are always nice too!

Are you a morning person or night owl?

I found a meme that describes me perfectly; I’m neither! I’m a perpetually exhausted pigeon of some unknown species. I feel like I need to sleep 12 hours a day or something to feel fully rested.

If you could time travel, where will you wish to go?

Most definitely the future! Maybe a few hundred years from now. I want to see what kind of robots and cyborgs are around.

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I’m not really sure about this one. I think I can recall someone trying to start conversation at a shuttle stop by saying I look a lot like his ex girlfriend. Needless to say that was a very awkward shuttle ride o_o.

It is a pleasure to feature you Jane. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I think it is much more than outside appearance; it’s also an attitude and an internal confidence. When you really accept yourself and develop that internal confidence and comfortability, it definitely shows in how you carry yourself and how you react to people around you.

    Cosplayer Morgan Elise

Hi Morgan it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Well, I’m a college student in Wisconsin, who was raised in a small Minnesota town. I am trying to get into a Game Development and Design major. I love cats so much that I cry over how cute they are, and I love eating sweets and watching kids movies. I love abstract, strange and avant garde style games and anime the most but I still enjoy other genres. I love to go for walks and I love to spend time on my own, but I’m still very social.

How did you get started into cosplay?

When I was 14, back in 2010, I was googling L from Death Note and I stumbled on a cosplay of him, and then a few months later a friend of mine invited me to come to an anime convention. My first cosplay was actually L, too! Since then I became addicted, and I’ve done over 50 cosplays since then. Last year alone, I did 30! For me, cosplay making is an anxiety reliever as well, so I used it last year to cope with a lot of the anxiety I had and it kept me very happy.

    Madotsuki from Yume Nikki

Which common misconceptions about cosplay still exists today?

One misconception I run into frequently is people assuming cosplayers have no idea about anything surrounding the characters they cosplay. This is not always true, and people can cosplay for a variety of reasons: loving the franchise they are cosplaying from, loving the character, being in a group cosplay or just loving the character design. As long as they’re having fun that’s all that should matter.

What is the best compliment you have received?

If someone calls me canon when I cosplay a character I feel a strong connection to, that’s the best compliment I could ever receive from anyone regarding cosplay. That, or when I see someone using my images for their cover photo. It’s happened a few times that I’ve seen, and it’s really flattering.

Do you have any other hobbies?

I like to write stories, create art, play video games (especially horror games and RPGs), watch Disney and Barbie movies, aspiring to be a singer and songwriter, makeup, wig collecting, working on game development (slowly), going for walks and bike rides, lying in bed too much, and making kitties happy as can be.

If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

I would work to better education, because the root of many problems, mainly from the US, is poor education. Fixing education would fix many of society’s issues. Sadly, I don’t see too many people advocating for making positive changes in education.

What song would you say best describes you?

This is actually a really tough one..because it changes often. I actually just shuffled my playlist and went to choose the one I feel fits most! Fallen Angels, the ending theme for Panty & Stocking, fits pretty well for me at this current time, I see it as  being about trust and it’s very positive and sweet. Another one would be Duvet by BoA, the opening to Serial Experiments Lain, it’s a bit sadder  but that one fits me at a few points in my life. Also I just love Lain, a LOT.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

I’d say, someone who is filled with love and respect for you and someone who wishes your happiness. I’m actually demisexual so I don’t have many preferences on appearances, and my preferences don’t limit me. But, I’d say, average body weight and size, I love dark hair and I really love graying hair a lot, and sweet eyes. And long eyelashes!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Morgan. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me, sexy is about confidence. If a girl or boy is confident in themselves and their bodies, that’s what I find sexy. But to me, it’s more about the attitude and personality.

  • Singer Songwriter Cathy Kim

    Singer Songwriter Cathy Kim

My name is Cathy Kim and I am 23 years old. I was born in Sydney, Australia, but moved to S. Korea a few months after I was born. When I was 6, I moved to Dallas, Texas, lived there for 10 years and now I’m in the best of the west, California. I just graduated from UCSB’ 14. Go Gauchos! I am a singer, songwriter at ST5A MRMG in Downtown LA. I am slowly transitioning into a music producer. I also do food blogging on the side, because I love to eat and cook!

Where does your inspiration in music come from?

I began to play the piano since the age of 4, which is a typical thing to do growing up in an Asian family. Playing the piano was something really special to me. I believe it was the only thing that I knew I was really good at and I also knew I had the talent to pursue my career somewhere in the music industry. I wasn’t confident in education, it wasn’t something that I felt comfortable in.

My parents were very strict about me listening to Non-Christian music. They were a very strong spiritual family. However, I have been rebellious since the day I was born. Secretly, I loved to listen to Korean Pop. When my parents were away, I’d sneak on the computer to listen to the latest Korean Ballads, and Pop music.

I took something that I was good at, which is playing the piano and improvising, and what I love to listen together in the beginning year of my college. I was more free since I was further away from my strict parents. I was able to listen to K-Pop whenever I wanted. My musical abilities, and my love for K-Pop definitely brought this whole thing together.

What are some of the challenges artistes face in the competitive K-Pop market?

Back in the days, maybe about 3-5 years ago, it was all about how pretty or good looking the “idols” were, and this is just my opinion, and anyone can disagree. Now currently, I feel as if the superficial aspects of K-Pop is diminishing and it’s more about having multiple talent, which for me, is great. K-Pop industry also wants younger generations as trainees. So, now the older idols are less accepted and they stress about what is stored in next for them in their career. To satisfy a K-Pop fan is tough I think. One has to really be able to execute everything. If you are a dancer, it is recommended that you know how to rap and sing, and vice versa for the vocalists. If you don’t have that, the artist has to know how to entertain. Overall, it’s getting harder to become a K-Pop artist, you have to know how to sing, rap, dance, and entertain.

If you could have the opportunity to collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

My style of writing is transitioning. As a classical trained pianist, it was a lot easier for me to write top lines for Pop. But as I have been taking vocal lessons, and practicing more of new style, R&B and Hip-Hop I personally would love to collaborate with AOMG, ZICO, CRUSH, ZION T, and DEAN.

What’s the most expensive item you have splurged on?

Hm… I’m trying to remember. I rarely go out to shop for clothes or anything. Money never came easy for me. My family always had a hard time. I earned my money through teaching piano and teaching swimming as well. But yes, now I do remember. I saved up about $1500 to buy myself a laptop for college. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was able to download K-Pop music on to my computer and listen to it whenever I wanted.

Can you recommend some of the best spots to party in Seoul?

I can’t answer you this one because I haven’t gone out to party in Seoul, just yet. But I heard Octagon and Arena are poppin’ right now.

If you had the choice of any superpower, what will it be and why?

Teleportation for sure. I want to travel the world. Listen to each culture’s music. I took ethnomusicology classes back in college. I love all kinds of music. I want to just teleport to places and experience their music world.

Which Disney character best represents you?

Ariel. She was rebellious, she learns her lessons through mistakes. She was willing to lose her voice to become human. I’d do anything to stay with music.

What guilty indulgences do you have for food?

Oh dear Lord… I do blog about food. My Instagram is just photos of food. My mom’s a chef. I can’t stop eating. I love Korean food. It’s in my blood. I love garlic, onions, vinegar, kimchi and rice.

    Naughtiest thing you’ve done?

    I’m an angel though… O:)

    What’s sexy to you?

Confidence. I hear celebrities say this all the time, and I highly agree. If you are able to get past your insecurities and out of your comfort zone and accomplish what you want to do, that’s sexy in a woman.

  • Experiences Of A Sex Worker

    Experiences Of A Sex Worker

I love sex! I think sexual urges and fantasies are natural, and ever since fully embracing my own sexuality I’ve received so much more pleasure in life and through all the experiences that I’ve been able to have. I was incredibly shy throughout my teen years, and had the worst social anxiety. This actually led me to being homeschooled during high school. Despite my socializing problems at the time, I grew to really dislike the lack of being in a social atmosphere and/or stimulated by the conversation and thoughts of others. It’s made me appreciate the interactions that I now have with people much more. Homeschooling also gave me the time and opportunity to seek out my own interests and passions, subjects that never even stuck to me when attending public school.

Once turning 18, and having been felt like a caged bird by the end of high school, I was ready to be on my own! I had a sugar daddy starting off when I first moved to D.C. During that, I discovered how much I loved the company of an older gentleman, and I found that I was able to really enjoy my conversations with them. I respected and valued the discretion, but did not like the feeling of it being more like a relationship instead of an open love that could grow and one that did not have to be defined. The sugar baby relationship lasted roughly 7 months, and I honestly just jumped into escorting. I started with an agency, and assumed that I would learn from them and from experience. I was fortunate enough to have a lady who helped and explained everything to me, and was really quite patient me. But by no means am I recommending that anyone jump right in! There are easy mistakes to avoid, and tips to learn; it would be much more beneficial to read and educate yourself beforehand.

    What I Love About Escorting

My greatest passions are learning all I can about the world, and making others happy. This lifestyle has given me the amazing opportunity to do both! I’ve met some of the best guys, and made some of the greatest friends. I love the socializing, the intimacy, and the mutual happiness my clients and I bring each other – whether it’s only one encounter, or numerous! I meet the greatest dynamic of people; finding ways to relate to them is something that has not only furthered my social skills, but educated me on topics that my clients share through their own learnings  and life experience.

I also love the traveling. I’ve always travelled even through my youth, and I don’t think I could ever call one place home forever. This lifestyle has allowed me to see some of the most beautiful places, all while doing what I love! This has become such an amazing opportunity helping me work towards future goals and dreams. The ability to support myself fully and to take care of any school debt in and of itself has been the most fulfilling feeling, but the people that I have met and the things that I have learned through this lifestyle are priceless.

    Screening The Clients

There are various screening sites to further validate a client’s identity, but I would say one of the biggest ways I rely on deciding to see a client or not would be the trust amongst the SW community. I ask that clients provide at least two references (providers that will vouch for them saying that they are real, safe, and respectful). References and a screening handle is not enough to get through screening, however. I also require a photo of their ID prior to meeting along with their work information. All of this information is erased after screening is complete. Clients see enough of my presence online (through social media, my p411, and my booking site) to know that I am who I say I am, so me asking for the same validation in return should not be an issue for them and if it is, I don’t book. I value and respect discretion, and would not have the reputation that I have built if I ever abused a client’s privacy.

Weirdest Client Requests I Have Received

Well, one person’s weird is another person’s kink. But I’ve definitely had some odd requests – some that I agreed to, some I refused, and some I just couldn’t bring myself to do. One time in specific I remember a guy was just absolutely infatuated with my nose. The whole session he was staring at it, he was playing with it, and even in the middle of making out I’d feel two fingers in the shape of scissors slide down the middle of my face and just pinch my nose. The random nose pinches continued even during sex, barely making eye contact with me but instead staring at my nose; occasionally leaning in and putting his whole mouth on it as if he was giving my nose a sloppy kiss or something!

One request I just couldn’t bring myself to do was a roleplay act. I initially should’ve known he had something up his sleeve cause he walked in with a Whole Foods bag. I was the innocent schoolgirl that apparently got caught blowing two guys in the locker room, and I was facing suspension. The only way to avoid suspension was to sleep with my principal..but first, had to “demonstrate what exactly I was doing to the two boy students”. He grabs his bag and pulls out a banana and a condom. He slides this condom so smoothly on the banana, I’m convinced his real job is a sex Ed coach. He then holds the banana out, looking at me. I am looking at him. We are just staring at each other for a solid minute before he again asks me to demonstrate how I gave a blowjob. I lean down, hovering over the banana, and all I am thinking is “I will never forget the time that I seriously gave oral to a fruit”, I licked the tip of the banana, then snapped away apologizing profusely saying “Sorry, I can’t! I just can’t do it, I’m a terrible actor! Can i just…. demonstrate on you?!” Not my sexiest way of denying a request… but looking back on the two stories now, it almost seems like the banana request should’ve been much easier to fulfill LOL.

Preparing For A Date With A Client

I am still a nervous wreck before every date, regardless of how many times I’ve seen someone. The whole time getting ready is me telling myself to not be weird. The nerves are every time, but I’d never want to feel indifferent or bored. The anxiety and build up is what makes the meet so much sweeter. I am typically sitting on my sink counter getting myself pretty..even if there is a vanity, a sink counter always seems to be a girl’s zen place. After the getting ready process, it’s an extensive amount of YouTube video watching that I always end up regretting, a minimum of 30 pictures taken all of which ended up getting erased anyway, and Mariah Carey karaoke. I also make sure everything is in place, and that my date doesn’t go without supplies! Once I meet my date, my nervousness eases and I’m filled with joy and excitement to see them. Every time is a new experience.

Cosplayer, Model & Costume Designer Anastasia August

Hi Anastasia, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi there! I’m Anastasia August, I’m a costume designer, cosplayer, and model. I’m really passionate about things like art, cat ears, and not wearing pants.

My favorite superhero is Spider-man, but I’m absolutely arachnophobic. My favorite female super is Poison Ivy. If I had a superpower it would be to transform into any animal. I currently live in Nebraska, but I’ve lived in Indiana, Washington and South Africa previously. Traveling is one of my favorite things, it’s so exciting for me! In recent years I’ve been heading to further and further away conventions.

Going to a brand new con is the best. I love meeting new people with similar interests and just totally geeking out! I really hope some day I’m able to  make it to more conventions more frequently!

When and how did your interest in cosplay start?

I’ve been sewing since I was old enough to sit in front of a machine. My mom is a seamstress and taught me a lot of what I know. I’ve also just always put on thematic outfits and pieced together new costumes and characters. I remember when I was just a lil’ bab still and I first discovered that people would actually dress up as their favorite characters and go to conventions! I was like, WHAT?! Eventually there was one nearby (Anime Nebraskon) and my sister and I called in sick to school and went with one of our friends. The funny thing is, our parents made fun of us. They made fun of us for so many years, now my dad has a screen accurate Darth Vader costume. Haha, I was Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket for that first legitimate cosplay. That was almost 8 years ago, and it’s been an absolutely magical time. I’ve done 70+ costumes in that time, I’ve won some awards, I’ve made some AMAZING friends, and I’ve been able to challenge myself and grow in so many ways. I literally couldn’t imagine what my life would be like without cosplay.

Do you have any quotes or mottos that you live by?

“I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.”

Is there something you can never get enough of?

Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Nicolas Cage, and Xena Warrior Princess. I have tattoos from the first two, but I’m slacking on my Xena ink.  I’m debating what to get next and I can’t get a tattoo of my future husband, that would just be silly. I’m such trash for all of those things, haha. I sleep  with Nicolas Cage pillows every night, I have this ridiculous obsession with him. My whole aesthetic is Nouveau Shamanic.

What is a typical day like for you?

Oh jeeze, it changes from day to day! I’m just starting at a new job where I get to use my experience with tinkering and leather working in how I pay the bills. It’s kind of amazing to get to do something I’m passionate about, I’m really lucky in that aspect. I really wish there were more hours in the day, I always find myself either at the gym, working on a project, trying to clean up my mess, managing business stuff, binge watching everything I can get my paws on! I try to keep busy, and it’s not hard when your dreams are as ambitious as mine. Haha. On my days off, I live for sleeping in. It’s the best, seriously. I’m sure you understand.

The only thing that makes it better is PUPPY SNUGGLES! Sadly, I don’t have a dog so that’s not an every day thing in my life.

How long do you think you’ll survive a zombie apocalypse?

That totally depends on who I end up with for my initial group. I can totally see myself trying to be the hero and doing something to get  myself killed. If I don’t do that, I’d make it quite a while! I’m a massive nerd for all things zombies! I’ve read a ton of books, seen countless films, played a ton of games, and watched *most* of the Walking Dead. I’ve had a constantly evolving plan since I was like 13. These days with awesome pop  culture representations making zombies much more mainstream everyone is kind of prepared for it in some capacity. It makes it really fun to factor things like that in when I discuss it over Sunday dinners.

If you could go back in time to live in a historical period, which will you choose?

Medieval/renaissance FUR SURE! I’ve always had a love for the whole era. Ideally I would live in a fantasy realm where I would be able to wield magic as well as a sword. And a bow….and axe! I’d like to think I’d be some Robin Hood type of character, I’m very into the whole vigilante hero sort of thing.

Is there something in this world you wish would change?

I just wish we could all get on board with being decent to one another. I really feel like it isn’t difficult. We aren’t 100% perfect beings but  we shouldn’t go out of our ways to hurt another person….. Unless it’s your roommate and you have a super good burn on the tip of yo tongue (@kellyelldanger)

It is a pleasure to feature you Anastasia. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

It’s been a pleasure to be featured! Thanks so much for the fun questions. To me, sexy is when I feel confident and am totally loving myself.  Sexy is being unashamed to laugh out loud. Sexy is busting a move, little kicks and all. The sexiest thing…Is Nicolas Cage.

Hello I am Tina Marie Duran. I’m a 40 year old mother of three, grandmother of three and a foster grandmother to four all my little angels! I’m a resigned preschool teacher, youth counselor for Orange County Orangewood Children’s  home. I love literature. I write poetry and my favorite poet is Shakespeare and my favorite artists are Michelangelo and Picasso, as you can see, I love history of the arts! Fitness is also an important aspect in my life to live healthy and long and let the beauty of my mind, not my appearance, transfigure and people will fall in love with! My hobbies are to write poetry, to dance, to seeing the love, fishing and another is to go camping and hiking. I’ve been modeling for a year now and and my future goals are to be published in Playboy this year! I would like to leave off on a quote that I live by today. First they ignore, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Gandhi.

How much of a party animal are you?

I love to party so you can say it depends on what kind of party I’m heading to! I AM the life of any party!

Have you ever laughed at something you shouldn’t?

Yes I have laughed at things that I shouldn’t have.

If you could have any feature from an animal, what would you want?

    The cheetah for their endurance.

Which was the last movie you caught and was it any good?

Neighbors 2 and yes it was hilariously good!

What is the lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Your husbands’ a lucky man.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Tina. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I believe sexy is what every individual woman has to offer and brings to the table. We all have our unique talents and gifts and I believe sexy is being brave, genuine, kindness, humble, strong and not self-centered. Confidence comes in many forms yet sexy to me is loving yourself and not appearance.

  • Model, Dancer & Performer Payton Trollman

Model, Dancer & Performer Payton Trollman

Hi Payton, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hey there everyone, my name is Payton and I go by Trixx while in my performance realm whether its dance, modeling, or makeup artistry. Born and raised in Southern California and residing in San Fernando Valley.

When and how did your interest in dance start?

At a very young age, I began moving and grooving to music videos on MTV and discovering hip hop music and the stylistic dance form that I grew up loving. I was fascinated by pop and lockers, breakers, and anyone who’s musicality was in sync to the beats. Breakin’ was a huge influence that to this day I still watch when I want to feel like a kid again.

Do you have any quotes or mottos that you live by?

Dance to express not to impress. Since middle school I realized I needed dance for myself and if it entertained others, great! I always want to inspire others to live in their passions, but remember, do it for yourself first.

Is there something you can never get enough of?

Ice cream and opportunities to create! Ice cream is the best creation and always makes me happy. Now mix that with creating in the many forms of art I love such as dance, painting, or body painting, that is my flow state.

What is a typical day like for you?

A typical day is busy busy from working hard at school to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology to getting in my ideal workout. Thankfully my workouts revolve around either aerial and pole dance training to ground work and gymnastics training. Every day brings a new exciting experience however, from performing my dance passions to modeling fashion and dance all over southern California.

What was your last movie watched and was it any good?

The last movie I watched was the live action Beauty and the Beast the night before its release because that is my favorite Disney princess movie growing up, and how I could I not watch it as soon as it came out? It did start pretty slow, but my goodness the musical numbers and beauty of the movie were extremely enchanting and I left feeling completely satisfied!

If you could go back in time to live in a historical period, which will you choose?

I’m not too sure I’d enjoy living in a different historical period, considering women have not had the most promising of lifestyles in the past centuries, but to visit just to experience would have to be the days of the renaissance and baroque art. Around 1400s to 1700s some of my most favorite artists created their works and I’d enjoy living in such a creative time in Europe.

Is there something in this world you wish would change?

The negativity and disrespect people put on each other is horrendous and I wish with my whole heart that humans would try to be understanding of everyone’s walks of life and produce a positive environment to live in. A world with no fear or hatred would be a lovely time to live in. My goal with people and loved ones in my life is calm understanding so no judgement is ever felt and positive attitudes are shared.

It is a pleasure to feature you Payton. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Thank you again for this opportunity to open up about myself and share my beliefs about some pretty intense topics of life. Defining sexy includes a person’s way of thinking and how they carry themselves in life. A person who has confidence and knows their self-worth while being a good person for themselves and their loved ones is a unique trait that I want more people to exude because that is sexy.

  • Italian Cosplayer Onirika

    Italian Cosplayer Onirika

Hi Onirika, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi everyone! I’m Onirika, an Italian cosplayer, I am 25 years old and I was born in April and I’m 150cm tall (sob sob T.T) I am a cat lover and any object that is pink and cute.  Yes, I’m a little princess (ihih) who lives in my fantasy world but in real life I’m a dressmaker, I started to sew when I was 14 years old and I studied for this. I start to cosplay since 2009 with Kairi from Kingdom Hearts 2, but I knew this world before, I have always been passionate about video games (in particular), anime and manga. The games that I prefer and where I get almost all costumes are from Final Fantasy sagas. I like all kinds of games but my favorites are RPG and fantasy. I’m curious about oriental culture and their music, they have a way of doing completely different from the Italians.

What do you enjoy most about cosplay?

What I like most of all surely is to be able to become a favorite character for one day. I generally choose characters that have traits of my personality or characters who are tied as a child (like Yuna from Final Fantasy). I already made 3 versions of this character, and I have 2 others at work. Making cosplays have helped me a lot for my self-esteem, have never been a very nice girl, do not wear makeup and I did not mind what I was wearing (although I did for fashion). Thanks to cosplay, I learned to wear makeup and take care of my appearance. I have worked for years, and now I am quite satisfied (certainly my classmates would not recognize me for what I’ve changed XD).

How long does it take you to create a costume from scratch?

Obviously it depends on the type of costume, once I made the pattern I always reuse that, and I modify it from time to time depending on the customs that I have to do. So generally if it is just tailoring, it takes me from 2 days until a maximum of 1/2 months (working on it every day) this is more or less the estimate of when I commissioned others. When it comes to my cosplays I always put a lot of time (a bit of boredom, lack of materials or time to devote to me). The situation is different when it comes to armor or armor pieces, because I have to wait for it to dry well, the paint and color.

Are there any characters which you will love to cosplay in the near future?

To my good fortune I’ve already done all the characters I love, and since I like it so much I always do more versions of the same character (as Yuna, Serah or Asuna).

Which fictional character do you wish was real?

Certainly these would be from the Final Fantasy universe and would not be just one but my first love was Tidus from Final Fantasy X so maybe I would choose him … even if … even Noctis is not bad! <3 I CAN NOT CHOOSE!

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

This is easy, the power of the word, that everything I say comes true, like magic! So I could have mountains of cosplay, manga, figures already ready at once, and of course I could control people and their actions (I’m evil I know!! XD)

What item at home can you use as a weapon if there is a zombie apocalypse?

Oh God I do not think that I’d survive long in a zombie apocalypse (despite being an fan of zombie movies) but probably choose a firearm such as a pistol, small and handy, lethal.

Have you ever had a bad cosplay experience?

No thankfully, received only criticisms from those people who do not know this kind of environment, but do not bother me, I go to comic-con for fun and no one can ruin the day.

It is a pleasure to feature you, Onirika. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I think that everyone has his idea of being sexy, so I cannot say for sure, but what I like may not please others. Actually I do not know what to say, you’ve asked the wrong person, I’m an eternal loli XD

  • Gray Wolf Cosplay

    Gray Wolf Cosplay

Hi Gray Wolf it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hello! My name is Brittney, also known as Gray Wolf Cosplay. I’m 22 years old, born and raised in Jackson Michigan. I enjoy playing video games, particularly RPG. I also enjoy nature and animals!

How did you get started into cosplay?

My friend actually gave me the push! I’ve loved the thought of it for a long time. Especially growing up a Disney I wanted to dress like Ariel. Between him and the show ‘Heroes of Cosplay’ I decided to dive right in! I’m so glad I did!

Which common misconceptions about cosplay still exists today?

Well a lot of my coworkers tell me I am wasting my time and money on it.

What is the best compliment you have received?

I was told once that I resemble Anne Hathaway when I was dressed as Catwoman from Dark Knight Rises.

What other hobbies do you have?

I dress up as Princesses and Superheroes with a couple of other local cosplay friends and we go to local hospitals and do charity events and birthday parties. Seeing the kids smiles makes it all worth it!

If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

That people would stop being so ugly and hurtful to each other. Instead, they’d help each other more.

What song would you say best describes you?

I can’t think of one off the top of my head but I have been listening to ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana. It speaks to me because she is wanting to make her parents proud but her heart is telling her to do something else.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

Compassion, it’s easy to hate. If they have compassion then they are stronger than they appear.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Gray Wolf. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me sexy is the way you carry yourself and how you treat others. If you carry yourself with confidence but also humility. If you are kind to others and do not treat them as though they are beneath you then to me you are sexy.
