    I grew up in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur but at heart I’m an island girl. Being around mother nature is my biggest must no matter where I’m living. This drives my passionate and positive personality in everything I do. I’m a bit of a bros girl who is free flowing and enjoys a bourbon neat from time to time but don’t get me confused, I’m not sporty in any form. I’m always up for an adventure discovering cultures and meeting new people. In spite of that, I’ve always felt like I’ve always stood out and never quite fit no matter how adaptable I am. This insecurity has now evolved into what I love most about myself.

    What inspired you to start modelling and how long have you been a model?

    I’ve never longed and dreamed to be a model as a kid, if anything I was the sassy girl with the comebacks defending my chubby self because I loved to eat and still do by the way. It started off by my love of photography and travel. I was comfortable in my natural curvy body documenting my travels. Embracing my thalassophile spirit and feeling the most confident in a bikini despite my undesired body type before the plus size or normal bodies movement had begun. This is what caught the eye of a local photographer @dreamersrehab, Catherea. That was the first time I’ve ever been asked to model professionally, it was the beginning of my modelling career. I have been modelling now for 5 years.

    Which is a memorable or unforgettable photoshoot experience you’ve had before?

    The most memorable shoot I’ve been a part of was titled Thique Clique by Catherea.

    Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

    One of my cheeky fashion hacks is that I wear most of my bikini bottoms backwards because it gives me a much better overall coverage in the front. The one item that is essential that I can’t live without is my Mason Pearson brush.

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    The top 3 things I enjoy the most is going to the markets for fresh groceries, enjoying an ocean swim and lastly a little retail therapy or grabbing some cocktails at the bar with friends.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a risk taker are you?

    I would say I’m about a 6.5.

    How do you like to spend your free time?

    The perfect day for me would be having a cocktail by the pool being kissed by the sun or spending the day in cooking and trying new recipes.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Nothing turns be off quicker than a man who is rude to staff and has really bad hygiene and fashion sense.

    Hi SimplySxy! Thank you for featuring me. I am from Sri Lanka currently living in Singapore. I would say that I have an outgoing, conservative personality. I worked in brand marketing communications previously and now I am a freelance artwork designer, product photographer, calligrapher, content creator and a blogger with an outgoing personality.

    What is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?

    I could say that my style is constantly evolving. However I feel like I am always drawn to boho aesthetic shades and styles. I do love trying out new fashion styles. My inspiration mostly comes from Pinterest.

    Do you follow a regular beauty regime?

    It usually starts with lighting a scented candle in the morning, a peaceful relaxed mind before anything else. I have been dealing with acne for the longest time so it has always been important for me to be consistent with three steps of cleansing, moisturizing and especially sun protection regardless of whether I’m indoors or outdoors.

    Which are your favorite types of food?

    I am a big fan of rice, so Sri Lankan rice and curry is a favourite of mine. I also love Mexican and Indian food. Lastly but surely, donuts and croissants!

    What are 3 sights you recommend to tourists to take in when visiting your country?

    If anyone ever visits Sri Lanka, there are many beautiful places to see. If I had to pick 3, definitely go to Ella, Arugam Bay and Mirissa.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of an adrenaline junkie are you?

    I’d say a 5 but if anyone hypes me up, I’m down for it haha!

    Would you rather have the power to control objects or animals?

    I wouldn’t say power to “control”, but it would be amazing if I could have the power to communicate with animals because I love animals!

    What turns you off on a date?

    Disrespect, ego and arrogance.

    First of all, I would like to thank you for having me and giving me this opportunity to tell my story. I started experimenting with photography from a very young age. Basically when I got my first camera from my parents. I started trying to replicate fashion shots with a friend in my backyard and experimented with the clothes and the make-up I had available at the time.

    As you may probably have guessed, the pictures were fun to look at but I was very proud of myself. From there it simply naturally progressed. I chose to study communication design which also involves photography and videography and after working for a while in print advertising I had to go back to craft that involved me actually doing something with my hands.

    Instagram played a big role in this since I started my page and also here I was really eager to reproduce some shots I really loved, playing with the textures and the light until I found my own voice in it. Now I am not only loving my flying food shots but I immerse myself in fashion and commercial photography and videography. 

    Which favorite quotes do you love to use?

    I am not the biggest follower when it comes to quotes since I think that every life is different and you shouldn’t try to follow anyone but when I was growing up, my dad always said this, “You already have a no but you can get a yes“. This is something I also teach my clients within my happiness program. It means that you always start out with a no. If you really want something or you want to ask for a promotion for example, you already have a NO right now. But if you go and do the thing you wanted or ask for the promotion, you may even get a yes!

    What is a typical day like for you?

    When I get up I take some time to cuddle with my dog and my boyfriend when I am with him, drink my mushroom coffee, meditate and take my dog out for a walk. Next, I usually get my mails done before hopping into coaching calls. I am a happiness coach next to my photography business, helping people to find more purpose and fulfilment in their lives.

    Just like the feeling you get after a spa day. I help my clients to implement exactly this relaxed feeling, for good. It’s such an amazing job to do! I get the task done for the day which vary from week to week, prep some healthy, delicious, vegan food. If you didn’t get it by now I also really like to cook and share these recipes on my Instagram. Afterwards I usually end my day with some training and a walk with my dog. 

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    If I have anything it would be too many interests. I feel like I need about 10 lives to learn and do everything I would want to learn. Right now I am into pole dancing and teaching others this amazing skill as well. It combines this strong masculine energy because you need so much strength and willpower with the more flowy feminine energy of dance and grace! I simply love it. I also started to upload workouts and flows on my YouTube. Other than that, I am always eager to progress my crafts. Right now I am learning so much about the energies within our universe and in our bodies and how to use them for our best. 

    If you could have a super power, what would it be?

    This is a hard one but probably to be able to fly. When I sit here on my balcony, I wonder how it would feel like for the birds to experience this incredible freedom of dancing in the wind. Must be a breathtaking feeling. The closest I have come to this was when skydiving. Which is already pretty amazing in itself.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Nothing is a guilty pleasure in my opinion. Why restrict something or label some foods as bad? It’s only the meaning we give it and if we pay attention to how much we eat and to balance it out with mostly whole foods it’s no big deal to indulge in chocolate or ice cream from time to time. 

    What turns you off on a date?

    What turns me off is when a person is trying to put on a facade thinking they need to be someone in order to be lovable. I totally get that it comes from a fear deep down inside, something they probably learned from a young age. I haven’t been different myself. I was super shy and never trusted myself enough to put myself out there but now I know who I am and I can see through these masks. I would much rather help them get past them but for a date I am looking for openness, honesty, fun and kindness.

    I feel sexy is whatever you feel comfortable with. Sexy to me is if you can totally and unapologetically be yourself. Wear what makes you feel great, be who you feel comfortable and speak your truth. I am very much attracted to people who are not trying to be liked or to be any ways but are totally themselves even if this may be different or “weird” to some. We need this diversity and this acceptance around it!

    Thank you so much! I am 21 years old and I live in Sweden where I am both born and raised. I am currently studying healthcare administration! I also work in childcare and do some modelling.

    Was being a model something you’ve always wanted and how did you get started into modeling?

    I have always been into photography, but I never even thought about the idea of standing in front of the camera instead of behind it. But, in the ending of 2019, I started modelling more and more and I really loved it because it gives you the opportunity to be extremely creative and be part of the making of photographs, but in a whole other way than when you’re the photographer.

    Which is a memorable photoshoot or modeling experience you have had before?

    If I would choose one, it must be a photoshoot I did in Mexico in January 2020. We were in an amazing city that really had a warm and loving atmosphere around it which made the photoshoot magical! It was great weather, I was there with an incredibly talented team and we had a really good time.

    I think the photos really succeeded to illustrate those feelings which is something that I think is so amazing about photography, pictures really are worth a thousand words. I will always remember this photoshoot because it was such a memorable time in my life!

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    I love that I live close to the coast so I can go to see the sea. But if I stay in the city, I love to go for walks with my dog or visit any of the amazing restaurants we have here!

    What hobbies or interests do you have?

    Besides photography which I also enjoy doing behind the camera, I love to bake! I have also been playing the piano because I love music, but not for a while now. I wish to start learning again soon though!

    If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    Well if I could wish to be someone, I wish I could be Wonder Woman! I would love to have that kind of strength and to be able to fly (!!). I would go travelling by air all the time haha!

    Would you rather have super sensitive taste or super sensitive hearing?

    I think I would rather have super sensitive hearing, it would be so nice to be able to hear so much of the surroundings!

    What is a funny or weird attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I don’t know really… I “unfortunately” have no good story here to tell haha.

    First and foremost, I do not define sexy as something physical! Everything is in the way you think and act. Intelligence, kindness, confidence and humbleness are what makes “sexy”. Your actions and your personality are what matters, always.

    Aloha! I’m a 22-year-old island girl Influencer based in Molokai, Hawaii. I was born and raised here on the island of Molokai along with majority of my family. I’ve been creating content for about 4-6 years now. I started creating content when I was 16 with a simple YouTube channel giving my personal reviews on beauty products.

    Since then, I’ve posted fashion and makeup content inconsistently for the last few years. But due to COVID, I’ve had the time to create and rebrand my relaunch into social media. You can now find my new content on my Personal Blog, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram weekly!

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    My mood inspires my fashion style. In the morning I wake up and think “What do I feel like wearing today?” My go-to styles are usually basics and feminine.  If I don’t know what to wear, and I love to be comfortable, I’m usually in a crop top, jeans, and a cardigan where it’s also presentable to be seen in.

    If I’m in a good mood, I find myself drifting to Girl Next Door looks with cute dresses and skirts with the occasional jeans jacket to accessorize.

    On my lazy “I’m not feelings it” days. I find myself wearing a sporty look with a crop top and leggings or even tank/crop top and sweats.

    I love to shop at work! LOL! Let me elaborate on that! So my night job is in retail. I work at the only non-locally owned clothing store on island, Jeans Warehouse. At least 75% of my wardrobe is from Jeans Warehouse.

    I also love to support local! So, if I have a date night I love to shop at Hawaii’s Finest for cute local attire. They also sell men’s clothing which is rare to find on Molokai. I love to be matchy matchy with my couples outfits and if you do too, Hawaii’s Finest is the place to go for local apparel!

    Occasionally I shop at Something for Everybody. Another locally owned store. I shop here for my beach attire like bikinis, pareos, hats, etc. This is the shop that started my influencing business back in 2017. I started by taking pictures in their custom hats.

    How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

    Oh my goodness! For a small 5’1, 108 pound woman, I consider myself a semi-big eater! So yes I’m a foodie! Let me just insert this picture below of me and my other half in our natural habitat!

    I know for sure with almost everything, I need my rice! I’ve heard it’s just a Hawaii people thing. My go to snack is a razzleberry peace tea, spam musubi, and red lihing mui seed!

    What content do you love to create and how do you decide?

    At the moment I love to create makeup plus fashion videos. I’m obsessed with the transition from my normal everyday look to something stylish, trendy and my face looks on point! One of my coworkers watches my content and she comments, “I really wanna meet her! She’s pretty!” But sadly, I don’t wear my makeup and outfits in public but one day maybe she’ll get to meet my alter ego!

    I decide what content to create based on the latest trends I see on Instagram or TikTok. If I don’t like any of the trends I see, I’ll create content based on the holidays/occasion for the month. For my makeup looks specifically, I like to pick colors that compliment my brown eyes.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    I guess you can call me superstitious. There’s a few I live by regularly. For example, if my nose itches like crazy, I believe someone new is walking into my life. This person can either be someone from my past paying me a visit to rekindle our friendship or someone completely new I’ve never met before. But that’s just one of the many superstitions I live by!

    Are there any quotes or mottos you like to use regularly?

    Yes! I took a leadership course two semesters ago and this is what I live by with everything I create and everything I am. That uncomfortable feeling when you try something new? Yeah embrace it! We want to take risks, we want to inspire, and we do this by embracing vulnerability!

    It keeps me going when I feel discouraged or judged in this industry. This quote also mentions what to look for in people you surround yourself with. You want to surround yourself with people that will encourage you to be the best version of yourself.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    If I could learn anything, it would be how to style my hair! Thats a struggle for me! I have unruly Hawaiian Curls and hair for three people. It’s a struggle to manage, so majority of the time, my hair is up in a bun, ponytail, or down.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Where do I even start…. There’s a lot I don’t get about guys and I’ve been living with one for over four years now! Women really do compliment men in my opinion. When I first moved in with my other half in 2017, he lived like a bachelor with absolutely no taste. The house was empty and had no personality. How was he living like that?? I have no idea!

    But when I moved in I added curtains, and color coordinated everything to a nice grey, added some new furniture to match the house, and more! I know some guys have taste but the ones I’ve come across really don’t. In some places men lack and where they lack, we women make up for it.

    My fashion style is all over the place honestly! I do love wearing fitting clothes and clothes that flatter my figure! My favorite places to shop at are Missguided, Prettylittlething, F21 and SHEIN.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I love to stay active and workout; I also play tennis and basketball! Also, as I stated earlier, I love photography! I use a Canon Rebel T5i.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I love compliments about me being genuine or being the highlight of someone’s day. I want to be a positive light to those around me.

    What are 3 fun sights you recommend to tourists to take in when visiting your city?

    In my college town, Clemson University, we have a beautiful view at the Clemson Dikes which is a big hill that overlooks the lake, we have Death Valley which is our football stadium as well as the Clemson botanical garden!

    Which are your favorite quotes or mottos you like to use for inspiration?

    “Live each day one at a time and make it your masterpiece.” It reminds me to live in the present and do my best to reach my highest potential one day at a time.

    Would you rather have the power to control objects or animals?

    Controlling animals might be cool! I’d want to communicate with a dolphin to let me ride it hahaha.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I don’t like men who don’t have good manners! I love a good genuine gentleman.

    Hi I’m so excited to talk with you! I am 22 years old and I’m currently residing in Alabama. I’ve lived all over, though! I call Minnesota and Washington home. I got married in June to the best person I know, my husband Caleb. Besides that, I’m food obsessed and my heart lies in advocacy.

    What are your thoughts about fashion and what inspires your style?

    I think anyone can be fashionable! Every body is included in my definition of fashion, so I believe it’s all about using what you truly love, whether thats the 70s, dark academia, or basics, and making it shine through your personality. There are no rules in fashion because it contains multitudes!

    I used Pinterest for all of my inspo, so feel free to check out my monthly boards. I’m so inspired by art, color mixing, and textures. I was an art history minor in college, so I love to see anything that is a riff off of something else, like the Leonardo Da Vinci inspired tops (think baby cupids) that are all over right now! Mixing textures is a fun way to feel unique, too.

    How did your interest in photography come about?

    I’ve alwaaaaays loved taking photos, of myself and my surroundings, so I think it just sprung up even more when I got a camera for my 21st birthday! It’s really fun to play around with and I just genuinely enjoy learning about new things.

    Can you share one tip to taking a great photo?

    Think about your background before you think about how you look. If you look at all the great influencers, they have really beautifully balanced backgrounds that add to their aesthetic! You don’t always have to be in the middle of the picture.

    Play around with being off to the side, running shots, detail shots, and try to line up the lines in your photo (use the grid feature for your phone camera to help with this!) with whatever you are wanting to focus on.

    If you could time travel, where will you like to go and witness?

    I would love to travel into the future to see how we move forward in society. I want to be there for the moment of granting universal healthcare, for when the prison industrial complex is abolished, for when sexual violence is only a thing of the past. I feel like we’re in a very exciting time in our country where people are pushing for progress. I can only dream of how far we’ll go.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    I’m obsessed with cheese. I can’t give it up, no matter how hard I try! My favorites are queso and chips and baked brie. <3

    Would you rather be completely invisible for one day or be able to fly for one day?

    Ooo, definitely be able to fly! I have so many loved ones I miss dearly during this pandemic. To be able to visit them safely would be a dream!

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    I truly don’t understand the need to be hypermasculine! Harry Styles, Timothee Chalamet, those kind of men are what tons of women find attractive. I wish the gender binary wasn’t so present on them to be able to allow them to express themselves, however they want to.

    Sexy is emboldened, to me. It’s truly feeling confident in your skin and loving who you are. I feel my sexiest when I feel like I am appreciating and loving my body how it is, not how it could be if I do this diet, if I exercise this much, etc. Sexy is present!

    Hi all! I have lived all my life in Russia. My life is directly connected with cosplay, art and photography. I’m 24 years old.

    What do you love about cosplaying?

    I’ve been working on cosplay for almost five years, but I’m gaining an audience only now. I used to be very shy about taking pictures, so I took home photos of my images. Several times I took the prize at festivals thanks to my costumes and performances. I think cosplay is a great hobby to express yourself as an artist, as well as to learn how to make ALL out of nothing.

    Which is your most fun or unforgettable cosplay experience so far?

    That’s a pretty interesting question. But I don’t remember anything to share with you. I’ve had everything that a lot of people have. For example, 30 minutes before the performance, a friend of mine accidentally broke my gun. One day I agreed with my friends on cosplay, but they did not come and I had to perform alone, in the end I was ranked 3rd in the category “Anime Cosplay”. Yes, I did it! I made up my fashion show right on stage.

    Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

    Yes! At first it may seem like cosplay takes up all my time, but no. I love to travel, one year, I was able to visit about 10 new countries, it was a wonderful time.

    I also do help for animal shelters. About once a month, I visit places to help homeless animals. I’ve been doing equestrian sports for about two years, but after I moved to another city, I gave it up. I’d love to go back, but I don’t have enough time.

    Despite the fact that I am a model myself, I also do photography. I’m a photographer with 10 years of experience. Sometimes I come to festivals in cosplay, but I take pictures of other cosplayers. My work often gets to them on the main page, everyone likes my work. I’m very happy about that. But most of all I like to shoot nature. Because it’s a great place for me. Lakes, forests, seas, mountains, flowers – it’s amazing. I think I’m the same dreamer.

    By the way, I’m also a crazy gamer. I love spending time in games. I play better than my friends and always rank high.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I have always been interested in psychology, biology and astronomy. Basically, it’s always about science. What is it made of? What does this have to do with this? And why does that work? I may be a humanitarian, but technology issues affect me too.

    For me, this is a big topic of discussion, I can talk about it for hours. If you want to talk to me, just start talking about space.

    Is there any superstition you believe in?

    No, I’m not a superstitious person. But sometimes I feel discomfort when someone’s rules are broken. Like if I dropped salt or something.

    Overall, I think it’s all about mental sensations. We can always feel everything out there inside. I think everyone has their own aura and soul. Because you can feel it.

    I don’t believe in God, but I believe in the point where it all began. God can be not only a man, but also something more than that. Atoms, stars and so on.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Freshly baked bread. Why? I don’t know. I’m so soft and cozy. People always reach out to me and feel at peace beside me. That’s what they say to me. I always hear from friends “I never believe you could offend anyone,” “You’re the kindest person” etc.

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?

    Hmm… It’s hard for me to remember anything. Usually I always respond to adequate communication with adequate people. And strange people don’t write to me. Just the other day I was asked to throw off all paid photos for free, because the person loves my work and he has no money. I was willing to throw him a little bit, but I put too much effort into my work to give them away just as if they were worthless to me.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Lesya. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    For me, sexuality is a pretty vulgar word. If you are engaged in shooting erotic content, you need to present it beautifully and cutely.

    No debauchery or cruelty. Photos must carry aesthetics and satisfaction. I don’t like too hot content, just do what is beautiful for you.

    I was born in Venezuela, but I came to Canada when I was just one years old. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I am a mother to a handsome four almost five year old boy. I am currently going to college, getting a photojournalism diploma, due to my passion for taking pictures and as well as writing.

    I also model. I used to do it a lot more with other photographers, but lately I have been doing a lot more self portraits which I enjoy a lot. Though it can be a lot of work. I am the one shooting the picture from a remote, I am the model, I am the one who does my hair and make up, setting up location and above all bringing whatever idea I have to life. It’s tiring and sometimes I may fail but I love challenging myself and it is fun too!

    Where did your inspiration to be a photographer come from?

    I decided to pursue photography after my son was born. I was the crazy mom taking pictures of my son every day. I then realized I really enjoyed capturing moments, and or people’s unique beauty. I love bringing my ideas to life.

    Do you have any basic tips for beginners to take decent or nice portraits?

    Honestly practice. Don’t stop shooting. Look at YouTube videos, follow photographers you like. Get inspired.

    What is a typical day like for yourself?

    A typical day for me is going to school, and then to the gym. I try to rush out of there and head home or to my son’s school to surprise him and pick him up. Afterwards I head home, talk about our day with my son, and soon it’s time for him to go to bed and I just watch Netflix while I edit pictures.

    Usually on the weekends I take at least one hour to take pictures for fun if I am not booked with clients.

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    This is a hard question! There are so many things I want to do, I would love to go travel europe especially greece and just photograph. I want to start a magazine but have yet to decide on what to do it on.

    If you can time travel, what will you like to witness?

    If I could time travel, I know this should be some epic moment in the past but I would love to witness my parents as teens.

    Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

    100% night owl.

    What turns you off on a date?

    When they don’t let you talk, and make everything about themselves. Also chewing gum loudly.

    I believe sexy is confidence. Everyone can be sexy, but not everyone has the confidence to show it.

    Whenever they tell me that I am intelligent and professional, it is the best compliment.

    Many times we forget what we really want with our hearts. You just have to fight for what you want.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    Honestly, I love dancing, that’s why I go to parties a lot, it’s one of the things I like to do where you forget everything and you get lost in the music playing loudly.

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I always want to travel and meet new places.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t take?

    I don’t eat red meat, just eat fish and seafood. And sorry boys, but I hate beer.

    What is a funny or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Once I was on the bus with my mother. I was about 15 years old, all a little girl! And a boy of the same age began to flirt with me. The whole bus looked at us and my mother only laughed at me. I was very ashamed. Then he got off the bus and shouted to my mother, goodbye mother in law! Everyone started laughing.

    For me “Sexy” is to show confidence in yourself, to be flirtatious, to transmit something with your eyes. It is not necessarily something associated with being in little clothes or the body.
