How To Explore Medical Fetish Play

We all know what BDSM means by the book (Bondage/Discipline/Sadism/Masochism).

My personal view on Kink and BDSM: It is about erotic thrills such as bondage, spanking using different implements, explore and experiment with some type of rough or painful play to enhance sexual pleasure and intensify orgasms.

What’s more important in BDSM is it is not only pain and pleasure, the dynamic of power play also plays an important role, it is not only the physical thing but also the mental and emotional aspect as well.

    What Is Medical Fetish?

Medical Fetish comes in different varieties and different levels, from sexual attraction to doctors and nurses, medical uniforms to realistic physical play including surgical procedures, anesthesia and intimate physical examinations such as gynaecological examination and rectal examination.

I was a manual therapist and worked for physiotherapists for many years, my ability to understand the structure and function of the human body gives me an advantage to explore medical fetishism and how to eroticize them.

    Reasons Subs Love Medical Play

Most of them are curious about what medical play is. Some of them are seeking another type of pain, that means they are into pain but not from corporal punishment, they are not into beating but something intense but less impactful i.e. needles, cutting, electro torture.

    A Typical Medical Play Session

Most sessions start with body examination and restraint, sometimes with a gag and blindfold. If the session involves catheterization, deep sounding  (to the bladder) and breath control, I need to be able to communicate with my client so there will be no gagging.

My favorite tools and/or equipment are: urethral sounds, catheters, needles, E-Stim, anal stretcher, and speculums.

What To Expect Before Trying Medical Feitsh Play For The First Time

First make a list of what you want to experience and research/understand what is involved. Then research the Domme who can provide the service. There is a difference between medical play and medical “roleplay”, make sure the Domme can provide what you want. Ask questions, and be polite.

You don’t have to go for everything if you are not sure.  Book an introductory session and try out whatever is on your list. If you don’t like it, just be honest and use your safe word, do not force yourself to accept it, this is not what medical play is all about.

  • Medical Play Sessions

    Medical Play Sessions

Typically, during a Medical Play session, you have someone who falls into a level of interest/experience. There are beginners, intermediate players and advanced participants.

The beginners/light players may have an interest in maybe some dressing up, possible exam roleplay and having their temperature taken rectally. They may also have an interest in trying some new items or trying a new type of activity. They are usually inexperienced and are just starting to explore. They are not looking to have marks or any signs of what they did when they leave.

The intermediate players are the ones who are either into the fetish or they are looking to expand what they enjoy. This level usually includes needle play, sounding, enemas. Things that are a bit more advanced but nothing too extreme. These types of people are usually looking to experience other types of BDSM as well as incorporate some medical play into the overall BDSM experience.

Then we have the advanced/experienced players. This is where I get to delve into the cuttings, brandings, suturing, catheters, extensive needle play and things that are very extreme. These are the types of people who know what they like and want to do a session that is usually only medical play.

Every time I play/session it’s based on that specific person as well as their interests so each session goes differently but just a rough idea of what happens when each session is done.

    1. TRAINING/EDUCATION of whatever I am doing. This is first and foremost. Medical play can be very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. Once you have learned and practiced then you can begin to explore and play.
    2. Sanitation/sterilization of equipment and play space.
    3. Setting up all equipment
    4. Cleaning the area on your victim….wait I mean your willing and able participant/bottom.
    5. Having fun and playing.
    6. Cleaning up your bottom with the right equipment/ medical supplies.
    7. Cleaning up and sterilizing your equipment/play space.
    8. Properly disposing of your bio-hazard.

    Precautions & Tips For Beginners

The precautions in medical play can vary greatly depending on what type of play you are looking at doing. Some play is not invasive at all and is no more a risk than brushing your teeth. These things include using a stethoscope, thermometer, blood pressure cuff, and things that are non-invasive. Once you start delving into things that break the skin such as: needle play, branding, scalpel cuttings, suturing, among other things; you start increasing your risks. You now have to be concerned about proper skin care before, proper sanitary care during, and proper after care so that you try to minimize any infection and lasting scaring.

When you get into doing anything that comes in contact with a mucus membrane you run the risk of tearing, ripping, micro damage that can breed bacteria and many other things. These include anything in the mouth, nose, and genitals. Mucus membranes are extremely sensitive but they also heal very quickly. So, when engaging in medical play you really need to be playing/sessioning with someone who has been properly trained as well as someone who knows what they are doing.

Yes, if you are a beginner you can definitely explore experiencing medical play. Find someone who is qualified to explain what the process is for whatever you are interested in and then go ahead and try something new. If you are interested in learning how to do medical play, find an educator, someone in the medical field or a professional dominatrix who specializes in medical play who can teach you properly.

  • What Is Medical Play And Why Do People Have A Fetish And Love It?

What Is Medical Play And Why Do People Have A Fetish And Love It?

Let’s start with what medical play is. Medical play is creating an S&M experience including anything having to do with the medical field. In the BDSM world we use “play” or session as the time we are engaging in out BDSM activities. Because these fetishes are medical based, they can cover a lot of different types of activities. Some of the types of things included are: casting (wearing casts), needle play, cuttings (scarification), doctor/nurse/patient role play, enema play, gyno exams, urethral sounding, speculum play (anal or vaginal), saline infusions, scalpel cuttings and suturing, branding (including cell popping, strike brands, and micro-branding), exam fetishes, medical outfits and gloves, and the list goes on and on. Quite more extensive than you may have thought huh?

I can only speak for myself and the people who I have seen for clients as well as the friends I have who enjoy medical play in discussing why I believe people have a medical fetish and why they love it.  Let’s start with my personal feelings on the subject. I, Miss Erin Marie, have a fetish for many things medically related. A little throwback info, I used to hate going to the doctor and I used to be terrified of needles and shots. To the point I was the special kid who had to go separately to get the vaccines in school because they didn’t want to me get sick or to pass out. Funny how the tables have completely turned.

Medical play is some of the most extensive as well as invasive types of play that we can engage in in the BDSM community. This falls into what is considered edge play. I believe that from the time we are toddlers we can remember how professionals in the medical field are truly the epitome of who is in charge. In our western society, we have been taught that doctors know more than anyone, including our parents. Doctors have free reign of our entire bodies and are able to take control and do basically whatever they want with little or no resistance. We are intrinsically taught that they can be trusted as well as the comfort that they will always have our best interest at heart. That is a pretty powerful role to have in a person’s life.

When it comes down to it, when doing any form of medical play, you get to tap into what that control and power is like when you can have that intrinsic trust that humans so naturally have based on decades of conditioning. Medical play also is something that someone experiencing it really has to give up control and really has to trust in whomever is in control and in charge of the play. Most of the people I see are looking to take a break from their everyday; whatever may be going on in their life they are able to get an opportunity to stop, step back, and to escape for a period of time where they literally can choose to not have any control over what is going to happen to them.

    Common Items In Medical Play

The most common item used in medical play is probably gloves. I stick to Nitrile (non-allergen) but love latex gloves, and my favorite are sterile surgical latex gloves. They are awesome, but expensive.

Some of the others include: hypodermic needles, syringes, scalpels, sutures, saline, sounds, stethoscopes, masks, gowns, lab coat, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, speculums, enema kits, cautery pens. These are probably the most common. There are many more items but these are the ones that easily come to mind.

Other than sterile surgical gloves, my favorite is needles. I can do so many things with them and create all sorts of designs that I can keep myself busy for hours.
