Hi Melissa it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
I am a promotional model. I was born in California and raised in the Sin City of Las Vegas the place that never sleeps. I am 25 years old. I have an inspiring story to tell the world and would love for it to be shared with you all. This is my story.
I was born with a rare eye disability called Retinitis Pigmentosa. Basically means my Retina is slowly deteriorating to the point I may go total blind one day. I have no peripheral vision. I only have tunnel vision which means I can only see straight ahead. I can’t see very far and at night and in dark places I can’t see as well. But once I know my way around a place I’m fine on my own and you wouldn’t even tell something is wrong.
Having this eye disability it has been a struggle to be give a chance with things because I get judged on my eye sight.
I want to inspire people with disabilities to show them that no matter what disability you have you can always do what you sent your mind to do and achieve anything in life. I have learned to accept what I have and remain to stay positive because that’s what makes the best things happen in life. Modeling is one of my passions and I want to not just model for fun but also inspire and help others as well.
How will you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style in three words: sexy, classy, and edgy. I love fashion and putting my own creations to work with some old clothes of mine that I never use. Lately, I’ve been cutting up some of my old pair of leggings and turning them into crop tops. I don’t know how to sew but I do what I can creating my own style.
What is the best compliment you have received?
The best compliment I have ever received is when people tell me that I have inspired them. That is my goal is to inspire anyone with any kind of disability to never give up on their dreams. Everyone needs recognition in this world and not many pay attention to those who have disabilities because people are quick to judge someone. Everyone should be treated equally.
Which type of food will you never eat?
Hmmmm, I don’t think I could ever eat crazy exotic foods. I give people props for trying new things out. But there are some things I can’t grasp my attention to try lol.
What things do you love about Vegas?
1: I love that Vegas is a small city.
2: I love that everything is open 24 hours. So when you’re hungry at 2am you can always find something to eat.
How do you usually spend your weekends?
I spend my weekends unplanned. It’s better have things unplanned. I love being spontaneous and doing anything that comes out of the blue.
Is there something you just don’t get about guys?
Guys have it easy when it comes to getting ready for the day. For girls we have to plan outfits, fix our hair, and put on make up. It’s a process lol. Guys just have to hop in the shower, get dressed, and head out the door.
What’s been your worst date ever?
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse date. First dates can be pretty awkward lol.

To me sexy means being comfortable in your own skin. Nowadays society can easily discourage a person on how they look, how they dress, and how much they weigh. Everyone can be sexy in their own way. Confidence is probably the sexiest trait for a person to have. Never let someone tell you otherwise. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.
