My fashion style actually depends on my mood. And I don’t really have that specific look that I adhere to everyday. But I am a huge fan of classics, basics, or timeless pieces that will make the over-all look classier. I also love to incorporate a pop of color sometimes. So yes, it really depends where my inspiration is coming from at the certain point.

I mostly shop in malls because I am the type of person who is very particular with the “fit” and how an outfit stands and look on me. But since the pandemic, I discovered quite a few local shops online who does custom size, and I am really happy about the quality they come up to.

Do you have any favorite quotes or mottos you use regularly?

It is actually a bible verse; “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her” Luke 1:45

With this, I am confident that I can conquer and I can be everything that I want to be in this life for as long as it is God’s will for me.

Which cuisine or type of food do you like most?

Definitely it will be anything Filipino and Japanese!

Filipino dishes are my comfort food. I love recreating them at home.

On the other hand, I also like the distinct and savory Japanese food. In fact, one of the main reasons why we keep coming back to Japan is mainly because of their food. And yep, I am a big foodie!

If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or change?

I am a pretty firm believer of not changing the past because it made me who I am today.

Every decision I made has brought me to where I am now. But if given the chance to time travel, I’d kinda like to relive the hard parts so I could find the joy in them the second time around and just remind myself to enjoy the ride of life and that I’ll get through that phase eventually.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but yet to find the time for it?

Yes. I actually want to formally learn more anything business related because that’s where I see myself years from now. Also, I’d love to discover places and travel more. Because growing up with strict parents, I wasn’t really allowed to go elsewhere even if I was earning my own money then. But I’m still grateful for that, because I find joy in traveling more with my family.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a superstitious person are you?

5. I am more in the neutral side. Like, if there is superstition that you can easily just follow for as long as it won’t cause anybody or anyone harm, then I’m up for it.

What turns you off on a date?

Hmm. Being late, bad hygiene, a pessimist.. and the list goes on.. But my biggest turn off I think will be when a guy asks me out and then has nothing planned. Having it all planned out sends a clear message that you actually value the time that you will be spending together. Also, not being able to carry interesting conversations.

Being sexy is being confident. So how you actually feel about yourself is so important. So better feed your mind and your attitude with positivity.

Fitness Enthusiast & Foodie Peaches Tenorio

I’m a fruit LOL joking. I’m an obese kid turned fitness enthusiast who found love in baking. You can either find me in the gym or at home baking. And I’m a foodie as well!! FOOOOD!!! I’m from Manila, Philippines.

How did your interest in baking start and what do you love about baking?

I was supposed to go to a legit baking school but then the lockdown started so I started practicing on my own. Nico, my boyfriend, has a lot of cravings. My creations were mainly to satisfy both of their sweettooth. We both love Filipino bakery goods and desserts. Pan de coco, spanish bread, pan de sal, you name it. Good thing school pushed through as well.

As children, we all loved to combine different flavors in search for something new. Arina’s concept came from the love of Filipino bread and desserts, guided by the curiosity of a child. My goal is to surprise people with something unique while still making you feel at home with all your familiar childhood treats. I love how through baking I can make people happy. Baking is my love language.

Is baking a lot harder than it looks?

It is! It is very technical. It’s a science. And you also need to have baker’s math. You have to know why you do or put certain things. Like one over-whipped meringue, you end up with flat desserts or not the melt-in-your-mouth feel. Chocolates are very temperature dependent and whatnot.

What is your exercise regime like?

Right now, I’m mixing strength, agility and flexibility training. I also practice some animal flow from time to time. I usually do intense workouts for two consecutive days then followed by a rest day, and the cycle goes on.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

How to be a mentalist, hahahaha, like Patrick Jane from The Mentalist or maybe time-travel, if it’s possible.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

I guess getting drunk in Luneta Park for a game/contest. I was finishing a huge bottle of alcohol then I passed out. They said I had no pulse so I was rushed to the ER. It was alcohol poisoning. Anyway, never do that, kids.

Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?

I think I’ll go for being able to taste colors. I wonder what teal tastes like haha.

What turns you off on a date?

Hmm.. I guess when there’s nothing to talk about? I need conversations. Substance.

HongKong Foodie & Instagrammer Rainie

My hobbies…that’s must be about being beautiful! I like trendy things, such as clothing and makeup to be more fashionable. Further more, I like travelling and photography. So I always go for an outing every few weeks or months, either for foreign travel or not.

Which is your favorite type of food?

As I am a Hong Konger, Dim Sum is one of my favorite foods. That is a traditional food in Hong Kong. I like Xia Jiao and Shao Mai the most. On the other side, Japanese food is also my favorite food. I like eating sushi and ramen. It is really tasty and delicious.

What is your fashion style like?

I like the Japanese fashion style, especially the Tokyo Style. I think Tokyo Style is very popular and trendy in Japan and also in Asia. When I wear the Tokyo Style, I would likely to be a beautiful and cute girl, that’s called ‘kawaii’.

If you can learn anything in this world, what will it be?

Maybe I would like to learn every language used in the world, so that I can at a closer distance with everyone, who comes from different countries. And also can help reduce the gap between people.

Where is your dream holiday destination?

I like travelling so much, I like enjoying the time on the beach with the grateful sunshine. That must be Hawaii but not the others!

Would you rather be able to read minds or stop time?

In fact, I don’t ever want to choose both of them. I am enjoying living naturally through the God’s will, and am glad to face this mysterious future.

What is an ideal first date for you?

For me, every date is unique and special. The ideal is that people want to give themselves a restriction. Instead, I cherish every date. The important thing is the process and enjoyment. Therefore, when completing the date, that is perfect to me.

I think sexy is not just pornographic, it can also mean being sexy and attractive. My words will treat it as sexy. Sexy is a level of sensation, which is full of temptation. Maybe it likes a natural trait. Such as the eyes, smiles, attitudes, and manners…Even the whole environment can be very sexy.

Hi Eeien thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

My name is Eeien and I’m from KL, Malaysia. I spent quite a few years abroad in Taiwan before ultimately coming back. I’m a makeup artist and also a musician as well. I would describe myself as positive and a playful person. Music and food holds a big place in my heart. My dream would be to explore the culture and the food that the world has to offer!

What is your proudest accomplishment so far?

Makeup and beauty has always been a passion of mine. I was rated as a top makeup service provider by certain organizations and most of all, the appreciation and compliments my clients offer me.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

‘You are seriously too confident and it’s contagious’.

Where do you like to shop from?

I was in Taiwan for multiple years and every now and then I still go back there, just to shop!

How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

I wake up to EDM every day to kick some positive mood into me to start my day. Unless I’m in a rush. My mum still thinks I’m crazy. LOL.

Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?

Nothing ever goes out of style. Eventually it’ll come back.

Have you had a bad date experience?

On a first date – the guy I was dating kept looking at his watch. Till now, I have no idea why 🙁

What is an ideal first date to you?

There should already be a spark the moment we meet. Venue doesn’t really matter. The guy being down to earth would really score lots of points.
