Hi everyone! My name is Irene, and I’m a lifestyle/fashion blogger from Toronto, Canada! I’m a bit of a nerd myself as I enjoy playing video games, collecting figures, and watching anime. Did I also mention that I love chocolate.. maybe a little too much? Haha

What is your beauty regime like to look so beautiful?

I was always taught to take care of my skin, which I believe is very important. I try to do facial masks at least two-three times a week to keep my face hydrated, and always putting moisturizer on. Whenever I head out, I put sunscreen/SPF lotion as the UV rays can damage your skin – even winter time!

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

Besides enjoying video games, and watching/reading anime/manga, I also like to ski, swim, play badminton and ultimate frisbee. Food photography became a new passion I started to enjoy, but also modeling in front of the camera as well. Traveling is also something I enjoy, it’s a way to relax and get away, but also to discover new things.

How do you like to spend your weekends?

I have two different moods, sometimes I like to have a relaxing weekend where I can snuggle up in my PJs, and have some time to myself. The other time is heading out with my friends for a party or dinner. Every week is a little different, but I’m always opened to doing anything.

Which 3 items are most important in your wardrobe?

Dresses are a definite must have because when summer hits, it’s all about dresses for me. A pair of Ultraboost is important for practical use, and when I need to move a lot during the day, and lastly, a pair of Lululemon leggings because it’s comfortable, and useable for any season.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

I think it depends on which group of friends I’m hanging out with. If it’s with closer friends, it can go up to an 8 since I know I can trust theme enough to let loose, but if it’s with a group I’m not too close with, maybe a 5.

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

That’s a tough one as I’m stuck between either having the ability to stop time where only I can move or selected people, or teleportation.

What turns you off on a date?

I think mannerisms are important, especially for the first impression. If the person I’m seeing has poor manners, acting rude or arrogant to me or another person, it would turn me off.

“Sexy” to me has different meanings. Sexy can be physical, meaning it’s someone I enjoy looking at in person/photos. Sexiness can also be shown, for example for women, confidence and having positive energy can be sexy. For men, I believe good mannerism, someone who can crack a joke, and can cook is sexy as well.

Hi everyone! My name is Jesaura, but everyone calls me Jessy. I’m from the Bronx, NY and a proud Latina. I work in fashion production and have my own fashion blog. I will be on season one of She’s Single New York – a reality TV show about five single women living in NYC. I also compete in beauty pageants and model.

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

I love dressing trendy, so I definitely shop at many fast fashion retailers. Zara, H&M, Express, and small boutiques in the Bronx. I’m a total girly girl so I love colors, textures and heels. I love thrifting and finding unique pieces too.

Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

A hack that I learned competing in beauty pageants is spraying hairspray on the bottom of my heels to prevent from slipping. It works wonders!

Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

Living in NYC there’s always so much to do. My top 3 would have to be taking pictures around the city, going to brunch, and shopping!

How do you decide what content to create and share on your website?

I create my content based on what I’m going through in my life at the moment and what I think my followers can relate too. I’ve gained a ton of Latino followers lately and it’s important for me to cater to both my American and international Spanish-speaking followers. Also, depending on the content I’m shooting for brands.

If you can have a super power, what will it be?

A super power of mine would definitely be to teleport, because I’m always running late, even if I give myself enough time, I’m always rushing. I’m working on this, I promise!

What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

As a Dominicana, I love all latin music especially bachata, merengue, dembow – whatever gets me dancing. I also love old school R&B.

What turns you off on a date?

A guy that’s very arrogant turns me off, I appreciate confidence but oftentimes it turns into arrogance. If a guy is flaunting a lot of his materialistic things or bragging about himself, it turns me off. I love humility and confidence.

For me “Sexy” is confidence, when you’re comfortable in your own skin and sure of yourself and who you are, you’ve reached sexy. Not needing validation from anyone and living in your truth is sexy.

I describe my style as street wear because I love ripped and denim jeans. I get my inspiration from two bloggers that I have been following since I started blogging/influencing.

Do you have any favorite hobbies or past times?

I consider my Instagram blog as a hobby even though I get paid sometimes, but it is still something I work on in my free time. I usually do reels and content outside of work.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I am usually only eating hispanic food. I am at a 5 because I am a picky eater when it comes to things that I eat…

Which 3 fun things do you love doing most around the area you live now?

My first favorite Spot is the Brooklyn bridge. It always amazes me how beautiful NYC is. I go there a lot in the summertime.

My top two favorite spots would be dinner in the lower east side. I have been to many restaurants in NYC, but the atmosphere was amazing before Covid of course.

My top third spot would be at the Williamsburg Brooklyn bars. The bars before Covid were the best time I have spent in NYC. Hopefully it will get better over time to experience it how it used to be.

Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

I am more of a morning person once I adapt to the routine.

If you could be a cartoon character for real, who will you be?

If i could be a character it would be Spongebob because some of the scenes remind me of myself. I used to watch it a lot as a kid. It was my childhood and the show was hilarious.

What turns you off on a date?

Something that turns me off on a date is when my date talks the entire time non-stop. Does not let me get a single word in. Also, when a guy doesn’t offer to pay on the first date. First impression is key and I would like to see my date put in some effort.

Fashion has always been a way of self expression for me. Ever since I was a child, I always loved to look good and dress up.

Along with looking good, comfort has always been my number one priority. So I’ve been working my way around finding and finding clothes, shoes, and accessories, that not only look good on me, but are also comfortable at the same time.

Fashion is often representative of how you feel and your self-confidence. When you see yourself in the mirror and like what you see, your self-esteem is sure to go up.

I was struggling with body image issues after I gained weight, so for a while I lost interest in what I wore and whether I looked good or not. But slowly I worked on my body, physically and mentally. Since then, fashion has been an integral part of my day to day life. Taking interest in your appearance and appreciation is vital to gain your self confidence back or rather gain some more and be comfortable in your own skin.

My Fashion Style & Go-To Brands

My style entails of high waist pants or jeans paired with crop tops, or leggings with a T-shirt. I love the sporty look and I think it suits me a lot.

Brands I often shop from are Forever21 and H&M or even Westside. I also shop from sports brands like Adidas, Nike, Reebok and Puma time to time.

Misinterpretations About Fashion

Many people have this misinterpretation that when someone dresses up or looks flashy, they’re just doing to seek attention. Most of of the time it’s completely false. At least for me, I most often am dressed down. Only if I’m going out to meet some friends for dinner, or just am in a really good mood, I’ll put in some extra efforts into how I’m dressing up that day. I might even try applying some makeup and and put on some earrings.

Especially when someone wears “revealing” clothes, some people have this mindset that they’re not a good person, they’re unethical or they just are an attention seeker. For me, since I’ve had social anxiety and self image issues, being able to wear clothes that show off more skin had always been very stressful for me. So now that I’ve gained the confidence, I am much more comfortable in such clothes. Also, the number one thing that kept me from wearing such clothes was, “What will people think about me?“

Slowly over the years, I’ve come to realize that people will talk, regardless of what you do. And people are first to push you down when you’re at your worst. The only thing that matters is how you feel and how you see yourself. Do things and wear clothes that make you happy. That’s all that matters at the end of the day.

Are There Styles Or Trends That Don’t Suit?

Since I have always tried so hard to fit it, and never liked it, my style right now is not following the trends basically. My fashion taste is different from most people.

I’m not very girly so you will very rarely see me in a dress or heels. I’m often rocking shoes, sneakers or slip ons instead of shoewear that girls usually prefer.

I’m not saying they don’t suit me, but it just doesn’t make me feel like myself!

How To Explore Your Fashion Style

If you’ve ever seen someone and thought to yourself, “I wonder how I’d look in it” or “Wow that looks great on them but it’d never look good on me”, you should decide that after you’ve put it on.

Don’t be afraid to try new things and change up your style from time to time. Being able to put your time and money into fashion is a luxury, and you shouldn’t ignore it. We have enough time on our hands to spend it on our appearance.

It also positively affects your other activities in life majorly, at least that’s how I feel. Feeling good throughout the day is always a plus point.

Final Fashion Tips To Follow!

Always be confident. Never hate your body or how you look. Treat it well. Be mindful of what you put inside it and around it.

And don’t be afraid of what people say! Stay positive, stay conscious.

Hi everyone, I am Nicole. I was born in Hadrut, a town in Artsakh. Artsakh is a very small republic that is de facto a part of Armenia. I graduated from a medical college located in its capital Stepanakert. It’s funny, but right now I am busy with completely other things: I teach Russian Language and at the same time I am a fashion blogger. Fashion is my passion; I really love to create new styles.

What inspires your fashion style?

Fashion is a very special part of my life. I loved fashion since my childhood.

When I was a kid, I often wore my father’s shirts and my mother’s high heels to wriggle in front of the mirror by showing amazing styles. A good music inspires me a lot as well. If I like a new song, it immediately creates a new style in my mind! I try to show all this in my Instagram profile.

Are there any accessories you can’t live without?

I use many accessories, but I can’t live without sunglasses, I feel naked without them.

How do you like to spend your free time?

If I have free time, I like to spend it at home, by cooking something tasty, I really enjoy this. I also like to watch movies by drinking a black tea with a delicious cake.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or experience but have yet to find the time for it?

I love sport and I’ve always wanted to create my own sport clothing line. I’ll work hard to make that dream to become true soon.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when looking back?

There were a lot of incredible and interesting stories happened to me, and here is one of them. Once at a party, I noticed two guys were trying hard to get my attention. I agreed to dance with two of them. I did not want to present my real name, so I introduced myself using the first name that came to my mind, Maria.

The next day, I accidentally noticed these guys on the way to college, one of them loudly shouted after me: “Maria, wait, it is me, Garry, remember, we met yesterday?” I turned around and replied: “I‘m sorry, you must be mistaken, I am not Maria …“. He apologized.

It is so funny now, when remembering this story:)

If you could collaborate or meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

Yes, It’s definitely Chanel. It’s a dream of every model and every fashion blogger to collaborate with Chanel. For me Chanel is a style, a fashion, an inspiration, something that makes women feel elegant and sexy. Karl Lagerfeld is a living legend.

What do you not get about guys?

I hate the guys who don’t respect girls, I don’t like lazy guys as well.

Oh, it’s a deep question in fact. In few words, sexuality means having a sexy body. I think the skinny models are the sexiest. The denim makes the girls sexy as well. Additionally, blondes are sexier than brunettes to my mind.

I first began this blog as a way to share with everyone my own personal style and fashion, beauty tips and tricks, and of course my travel adventures, wherever that may be next! I hope my Instagram as well as my personal blog can serve as a platform to inspire new ideas as you follow along with me in my exciting new journey!

Is there a particular fashion style you are attracted to?

Honestly, that’s a tough question! I wouldn’t necessarily say I have one style, but I have found myself right now loving the bright colors and patterns for summer. I am always a sucker when it comes to two-piece ensembles or flowy dresses because it is not only practical for daytime or nighttime, but they can be super comfortable!

Do you have a strict beauty regime you follow?

Yes! Every night I have to wash my face (any Neutrogena scrub), but after I love to use Kiehl’s products. Their products just work wonders for my skin. I can’t live without the Cucumber Eye Cream and the Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Those two products are a perfect way to hydrate the skin overnight!

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

10….Can I push that to a 100? There really isn’t anything I won’t try! Not to mention, everything I eat I usually post on Instagram (I mean who doesn’t) LOL!

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but don’t have the time?

I have always wanted to hike the Grand Canyon! Many people don’t know that I love to be outdoors and trying new activities, so this is just one of many adventures that I would love to do!

If you could travel to any part of the world for an experience, where will it be?

I would love to travel to Greece in the upcoming months! I have just been super busy and have not found the time to book anything yet, hopefully soon though. From the picturesque sceneries to the food, I may fall in love and just never return back to Philly!

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Definitely the DM’s. Some of them can be sweet, but most of the time they are borderline creepy!

I’m Eleasha, a British fashion blogger from London. I started blogging three years ago when I became engrossed in the luxury community on YouTube. I created my YouTube channel as an outlet to share my latest luxury purchases and a few months later, I created my blog to share weekly outfit posts to inspire women of all ages across the world.

Aside from blogging, I work full-time in SEO, which allows me to continue my creativity within my career.

How will you describe your fashion style?

My style has really fluctuated since starting my blog, when I first began blogging my style was very trendy and chic, always incorporating luxury fashion with affordable high-street fashion. However, as time went on I struggled with my style and stared experimenting with mass-market low-end brands thinking it might appeal to a wider audience. However, I soon realised I wasn’t being true to myself and I’ve now reverted back to my true personal style.

My go-to look is a large chunky knit, distressed skinny jeans and block heeled ankle boots as it works well for the climate I live in. I also like wearing bright colours as it compliments my skin-tone and can instantly transform my look.

What is the best compliment you have received?

I attended a Primark press day last season and someone approached me and said they really admired my Instagram and blog content and could see all the hard work I put into my posts. This made me get really emotional and boosted my confidence a lot.

In general though, I always receive compliments on my legs.

Where do you love to shop from?

High-street: Topshop, Zara, New Look and Primark

Luxury: Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Sandro, Maje, Iro and Acne

Have you been in an embarrassing or crazy situation that is funny now?

Yes back in 2011 (it was so embarrassing I even remember the year) I was dancing in a nightclub with an extremely good looking guy I liked at the time. We were both quite intoxicated that night and somehow he lost his balance and fell down on the floor. In the process of falling down he dragged me down with him and when I stood back up my weave/wig had fallen off my head! Literally the most embarrassing moment of my life!

Is there any superstition you believe in?

I’m not a very superstitious person, I believe in making your own luck and working hard for everything you want so breaking a mirror or walking underneath a ladder won’t impact my future.

If you could time travel, what will you like to experience or witness?

This might sound a little negative but honestly I would never want to travel back in time to any era, it’s hard enough living as a woman of colour in 2018, let alone back in the 1950’s!

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Last summer I walked into a coffee shop called ‘Pret’ and sat down to eat my lunch, when a guy asked me where I was from. I told him I’m British and I was born here, he said ‘Oh really? I thought you were from heaven!’ It was stupid but was a very good ice-breaker and we continued talking throughout lunch but I never saw him again.

One word, ‘confidence’! Sex appeal cannot exist without confidence. Once you learn to love yourself (your mind, body and soul) you will naturally become sexy and more appealing to the opposite sex. Be careful not to go overboard because you don’t want to appear arrogant.

Thank you for invitation SimplySxy. This is Elaine from Hong Kong, active on social media e.g. Instagram, Facebook for few years, had experience as freelance model like magazine shooting, TVC as well

Now as a Japan fashion blogger, I share OOTD, latest beauty products/fashion trend, make up skills, plus some funny/meaningful things inspired from my daily life. Besides Japanese fashion, I love Disney, duffy bear, princess dresses, delicate dishes, every cute and fancy colored stuffs…my posts on Instagram mainly focuses on this direction.

I have a 8 years old Pomeranian, I share cutie dog pics and some experience of taking care dogs also (he doesn’t like cameras so it is hard to take good pictures of him), I wish these posts can inspire my followers and pay attention to animal rights and anti animal abuse.

Where do you love to shop from?

I enjoy shopping online. It is convenient, and there are so many choices and promotions. I share high quality online shopping on Instagram regularly.

What beauty products do you use to look so fantastic?

As a DIY skincare lover, most of the beauty products I use everyday are made by myself, making sure the ingredients are fresh and natural is very important for your skin. Furthermore, you can avoid buying beauty products outside which may support animal testing.

Do you have any hobbies?

Sure. Observing different kinds of people is one of my interest (that’s why I chose Public Relations for major study). I have signed up for amateur physiognomy class and really enjoy that, it is not easy but lots of fun.

Moreover, I have learned jazz funk dance for several years, and I love acting, and reading novels. The book I recommend is “What Every Body is saying’ by Joe Navarro.

What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

Disney movies are all my favourites, and Step Up series as well. I love romantic/musical type movies.

If you can travel anywhere in this world, where will you go?

I have no ideas at this moment, maybe a place with numerous colorful flowers, hopefully I could have a chance to visit the world’s largest garden and I will definitely take many pictures there.

Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

As you know, the photos I post on Instagram are always in fancy style – princess dress, hair arrangement, full make up…however, the clothes I wear mostly are T-shirt and short pants daily in fact (actually I really enjoy a day with no makeup). When my followers encounter me in reality unexpectedly, they are always surprised I could be that pure and true.

What is an ideal first date for you?

My partner be honest and true to me, a comfortable conversation, that is enough.

I would say my style is pretty minimalist , monochrome and edgy yet chic.

I would say sunglasses and watches but they are incredibly essential.

SimplySxy: Hi Dominique, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Dominique: I’m Dominique Tiu, I’m currently an Account Manager in one of THE best Advertising firms in the Philippines and I sometimes moonlight as a Fashion Blogger. My background, for all intents and purposes, enables me to be quite the creative free spirit. SimplySxy: What has been your biggest indulgence so far?

Dominique: Everything in my closet, to say the least: Bags, Watches, & Jewelries. I just got myself a Hermes Constance earlier this year and a set of Burmese sapphires. I’m a sucker for “wearable art.” Though I’ve moved on from investing on apparel, shoes, and bags to jewelries and watches as of late. I’m eyeing a fancy Ladies watch from Audemars in rose gold and still continuously saving up for it.

SimplySxy: The one item you can’t leave home without is?

Dominique: My personality. I tried to think long and hard as to what it is that I can’t leave home with out—I thought of bags, shoes, clothes, perfumes, lipsticks… but in the end, I realized, it’s not all the pretty things that make me, “ME” but rather, who I am and my rapport with people.

SimplySxy: What style tips can you give to someone who is looking to dress up for a sexy night out?

Dominique: Wear sensible shoes! I’d like to think everyone should be allowed to wear whatever it is that their heart desires but personally, I prefer to wear darker colors and skin-baring pieces. Regardless, what’s important above all is opting to wear a reliable pair of shoes—I’m not saying you have to wear something flat and ugly, just choose one that won’t kill the circulation off your big toes. If there’s one thing that kills my mood easily regardless of situation, it’s ill-fitting shoes. What more when you’re out and about, shimmying?

SimplySxy: Dream holiday destination?

Dominique: Seychelles or Maldives. I love the beach though I’m not exactly beach ready. I know it’s strange, loving fashion, but not being that much attracted to cosmopolitan cities but I like the tranquility and safe haven an exclusive beach provides.

SimplySxy: How will you describe yourself in 3 words?

Dominique: Hilarious, Quirky, and Self-deprecating.

SimplySxy: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Dominique: Shifting careers at 25 and taking an 80% pay-cut. It’s been a year and though I’m a bit ambivalent about it, I like where I’m at now. At least I get to wear sneakers and Birkenstocks to work and everyone will just chalk it up as me being “trendy.”

SimplySxy: Thank you again for being on SimplySxy, Dominique. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Dominique: Sexy to me is being self-possessed. Sexy people don’t need people to tell them that they’re “sexy.” They don’t need any validation. They are who they are, just because.
