Hi Chrissa thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi! My name is Chrissa, from Singaporea. Working as a freelance event talent and makeup-artist. I’m someone who can’t stand boredom and have to always have my time occupied. Besides, I am an easy going person. However those who dunno me will think that I’m an unfriendly person (when I’m not smiling)

Lastly, I’m someone who’s very into horoscopes, and I quite believe in it! Once I’m comfortable in talking to you, I would always ask, “What horoscope are you?” Anyway, I’m a Pisces cusp Aries.

You have taken part in pageants, events and photoshoots. Which is one of the most memorable experiences for you?

Pageants. As the previous time I was representing Singapore to compete in Miss Scuba International, that’s the most memorable experience to me. As I got to meet the different countries and races of all the contestants, it was really a great experience for me. As I never knew that it would be so fun to meet new people in a pageant and till now we’re all still in contact!

What is your secret to looking so beautiful?

Never try to show any unglam moment of myself. Haha.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

You have nice long legs. As I always think that I have meaty short legs. Haha.

If you could be any cartoon character, which will you choose to be?

Doraemon. As I can always pull out something from my pocket and transform into things I want it be.

What is something a guy should never do on a date?

Being arrogant. It simply turns me off when a guy acts that way.

It’s a pleasure to feature you Chrissa. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I find people who have the confidence, talented in their passion are the most sexiest and charismatic.

Rachael Valentina – Model, event talent and talent judge

Hi all, I am Rachael and I am 19. I am currently still studying full-time in Sports Management. I am a part-time event talent and I have a blog where I blog about beauty and lifestyle. So if I am to briefly describe myself, I am an extrovert and open-minded human.

How did you start off as a model and event talent?

Being in the modelling/event industry is what I dreamt of as a kid. I started out in photoshoots since I was 12 as I helped my cousin out for a school project and when I was 17, I was given opportunities to be a photoshoot model for boutique shops, friends or photographers.

I then went into events when I saw a Facebook post on a group, and I got selected for the event job and that’s how I started as an event talent till now.

After a year or more being an event talent, I then proceeded to try out runway modelling and I am truly thankful for the opportunities given. I did runways for the Singapore Yacht Show in early March/May and also just did a recent runway walk for Carries Model. This is definitely one of my favorite parts of my job.

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

I really love to pen my thoughts down and blogging gives me an opportunity to. I have went to events such as The 2015 New Paper Face Finals, Miss Singapore 2015 and Miss Singapore Talent Judge and I think it is a beautiful thing to share with everyone my experiences!

What challenges do you face most when it comes to maintaining your blog?

One of the challenges I faced most is that I hardly have time to keep my blog updated weekly. I am always either studying or working most of the time, so whenever I have time at home, I will always try to blog.

As 2015 is drawing to a close, are there any memorable moments this year which you enjoyed particularly?

I have so many memorable moments this year (laughs). If I have to choose, that will definitely be the Miss Singapore Talent judging segment. Yes, you get that right, I was one of the judges for Miss Singapore 2015 Talent segment!

Other that that, every runway show I did is always close to my heart.

Which beauty products are you currently using?

It is not easy to say this but I am currently having an acne breakout so I am using doctor’s prescription of products.

If you had the choice of any superpower, what will it be and why?

Teleportation. I hate travelling places to places especially when I have more than 2 event jobs in a day!

Are you more likely to be partying on a Saturday night or chilling at home?

I personally love chilling around with my friends with a couple of drinks once in a month but other than that, I will most likely be at home!

Which are your favourite types of food?

THAI FOOD.

Funniest thing you’ve done or experienced?

This is a hard question because there’s so many funny moments in my life that I can’t even think which is the funniest. Hmmm, I guess one of them would be that I farted accidentally on my friend’s face at work once because he was squatting down to replenish the stocks and his reaction was priceless and all I did was laugh.

What’s the definition of sexy to you?

Being sexy is not about having big boobs or big butt. It is about how confident you are and how you feel about yourself. However, being over-confident is not sexy at all!

Event talent Carmen Ho is one tough babe

Who is Carmen Ho?

Hi! My name is Carmen and I am from Singapore! I am currently an undergraduate taking my degree in marketing and management.

How did you get into modeling?

I wouldn’t label myself as a model. I prefer to be called an event talent. My friend asked me if I wanted to work for this event which was for a Dior conference and ever since then, I have been working on and off as a event talent.

Which is your most memorable highlight so far?

IT Show! I worked for Casio, I love the fact that the girls made work so fun that I enjoyed every moment of it. Come to think of it, I really miss it!

What’s the most embarrassing or funny moment you have seen or experienced in one of your modelling events or photoshoots?

There was this guy who wanted to take a picture of my friend and I but he had a bad reputation in the photography industry. Thus, we rejected him but he persisted, thus my friend used her camera and suggested to him, how about we take a photo of him instead. I was laughing at the side as I didn’t expect my friend to react that way!

Are you a foodie?

Definitely yes! I enjoy food so much, I feel it’s a joy to eat! My mum usually says to be able to eat is a blessing. Additionally I love watching Master Chef at odd hours and get myself really hungry!

Three things you can’t leave home without?

My phone, wallet and earpiece.

If you had the chance to time travel, past or present, where will it be?

Those days as a carefree child, where I had no worries except passing my exams haha.

How will you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style changes time to time, it really depends on the mood of the day or how the weather is. But I am more inclined to dark colours.

What’s the sexiest thing in your wardrobe?

My black plain fitted dress.

Do you have any hobbies?

I do boxing and Muay Thai!

What’s sexy to you?

Well, sexy is to be confident of you who are inside. Be gracious and kind.
