    We catch up with Keri Fay on weight loss tips, essential healthy foods and binge eating as we talk to this beautiful nutritionist. Find out how she got the motivation and inspiration behind her weight loss program and the one reason why people overeat at every meal.

    Hi Keri, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    Hi, no problem! My name is Keri fay, I’m currently 22 and I’m from Long Beach Island, NJ. I Graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. I chose that major, because, I was very overweight when I was younger. I lost 55 pounds, and ever since I am very conscious about what I eat. Needless to say, I’m a slight health freak! I am now taking some time off to travel, and as a hobby I work on my blog (www.allofmyessence.com). My blog is a mixture of weight loss tips, tricks, healthy recipes and it also focuses on inexpensive fashion that is obtainable for all. I am a huge bargain hunter!

    Your weight loss story is a great source of motivation and inspiration to all. What kept you going throughout the journey and all the obstacles?

    What really keeps me motivated is to like the woman I see in the mirror everyday. I struggled with self-acceptance when I was heavier. Mainly because, I did not have to look like that, if I didn’t want to! The hard part was finding the determination to follow through with a healthy lifestyle. Eating junk food was not worth the insecurities that followed a bad diet. I follow a healthy lifestyle and because of it, I feel better, I am more confident, and I have more energy. This is a good lifestyle to have, I believe everyone should focus on what they consume, whether they gain weight or not.

    Sometimes, it is easy to get caught up with all the delicious food out there. What do you think is one reason people might end up overeating at a meal?

    I would agree! It is very hard to pass up all the delicious foods out there. I think the main reason that people tend to overeat is because they do not have self-control. It takes years to practice having control over your cravings and urges to binge eat. If you want to try a new food, share it, or take a few bites and move on. People often feel that they NEED to eat the whole thing, but that is not the case!

    Which types of food can you absolutely not live without?

    Every morning I make an egg white omelette with vegetables. I look forward to it every morning and I have for years, I never get sick of it! So, I would have to say, omelettes and tea. I drink tea at least 4 times a day…I’m slightly obsessed!

    What’s the fastest and healthiest way to lose weight within a timeframe of 2 months?

    Cutting carbs (this means cutting sugars as well!) carbs turn to sugar, and sugar turns to fat! I do not eat bread, rice, fries, pizza, chips, pastries, ice cream etc. Eating vegetables, lean protein, and fruits are the best foods to eat if you want to get the weight off fast. In addition, incorporating a workout 4-5 times a week will get the job done faster!

    How will you describe your personal fashion style?

    Minimal, contemporary, classy, and chic. Minimal because I hate to add too much jewellery and turn things tacky. I like simple… simple colors, simple handbags, simple shoes. I don’t like crazy patterns. I also wear mostly neutrals, and keep things conservative, classy and up to date.

    Which outfits should every lady have in her wardrobe?

    A black blazer. It is always a classic and you can dress it up for business, a fancy outing, or dress is down with ripped jeans. It is so versatile.

    Where do you usually shop from?

    I love Forever 21, they have a great contemporary section, especially online, H&M never lets me down as well. I love ROMWE and Shein, their prices are unbeatable and the fashion is always up to date with the latest trends. I love going to TJ Maxx and Marshalls because their prices are always reasonable as well. Lastly, I really enjoy checking out my local thrift shop for vintage clothing, oversized sweaters, and high waisted vintage jeans that I can make into shorts. I’m not about buying expensive brands, at all!

    Sexy… is being confident in your own skin. There is nothing sexier than a person who believes they are sexy, and can own it while staying humble.

    Does diet affect the taste of semen?

    Intake definitely affects output. What you take into your body can have an effect on the odors and liquids that come from your body. There are specific foods and spices that have been known to have a sweetening effect on semen; oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, light tasting vegetables, parsley, wheatgrass, celery, cinnamon, nutmeg, peppermint and lemon to name a few.

    At the same time there are some things you may be consuming and taking into your body that could be contributing to your semen tasting bitter (and not very pleasant) such as; beer, caffeine, cigarettes, preservatives, junk food, processed foods, recreational drugs, and red meat.

    After all, if you are what you eat and drink then your semen would be affected by such!

    Can using a laptop on one’s lap decrease a man’s sperm count?

    Laptop computers can raise the scrotal temperature, which has been linked to lowered sperm count. This occurs for two reasons; having your legs close together to balance the laptop on your lap and because of the heat the laptop generates. If you are using a laptop computer, let it sit on a table of some sort so that it’s not affecting whether or not you have the ability to procreate!

    What are some exercises or ways that decreases a man’s sperm count?

    Did you know that physical activity or lack thereof can affect a man’s sperm count greatly? In studies done, it was found that healthy young men who sit around tend to have lower sperm count then those who are physically active. 20 hours a week of television can decrease male sperm count by as much as 44% while 15 hours of exercise a week can raise sperm count by 73%. That’s a big difference.

    Exercise, diet, and lifestyle all impact your sperm count. The healthier choices lead to a better chance of greater sperm count and a healthier sex life.
