    New York Model & Creator Lindy

    I’m a model and creator from NYC. I’m definitely ambitious, spontaneous, and creative so I like to be surrounded by high energy people. I’m always on the go and looking for new adventures! 

    What hobbies or interests do you have?

    I love fashion. I’m always looking at the newest trends and studying designers and their creative styles. I’ve been modeling since I was a kid so I naturally grew up being really passionate about fashion. I’m actually working on my own clothing line!  

    Do you have any favorite brands or places you like to shop at?

    This is such a hard question – it’s always changing because I’m constantly on the search for new brands! My favorite right now is probably Matte Brand. I love their style. So chic and unique. 

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    I’m either 0 or 100 – I love my alone time, but I also love going out and having fun with my girls. It really just depends on my vibe for the day! 

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I wish more people in the world were less out of touch with reality and more aware of things happening in society so that they could find a way to help out. I’m huge on philanthropy.

    What is a typical day like for yourself?

    I always wake up naturally around 8am (yes I know it’s crazy) and then I sleep again until 10am, so that’s when my day actually starts. I’ll start with something super yummy and light for breakfast- a strawberry banana smoothie with two scoops of collagen and soy milk is my go to! And then I’ll go for a walk or do a light workout.

    I work from home so I’ll get lunch and work until about 5/6 pm, then after I’ll either hit up one of my friends for dinner/drinks or I’ll just binge watch scary movies and make food at home! I’m obsessed with anything scary. 

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    I wouldn’t say I’m superstitious about anything, but I’m spiritual so I definitely believe in karma!

    What is a funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I’ve had guys try to impress me by flexing the nice things they have or by showing off well-known people they know. It’s literally the worst. I’m independent and I have my successes – impress me by being yourself! 

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Lindy. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Sexy is a state of mind. It’s all about inner AND outer confidence! Being sexy means you truly love yourself and you’re not afraid to embrace your sensuality. When you think you’re sexy, everyone else sees it too! Embrace your inner goddess.

    Thank you so much for this opportunity to be featured! I’m a petite, all natural model and creator living in Detroit. I collect mostly indue brands, handmade lingerie and lots of hosiery. Garters are one of my favorite things!

    In addition to my self portraits and other modeling, I’m also an art and entertainment events coordinator. I love being involved in the wonderful arts community of Detroit.

    Which is the best compliment you have received so far?

    It’s difficult to choose a single favorite, but I love when people see my work as classy and elegant, but also sensual.

    How do you like to spend your free time?

    Shopping (of course), browsing Instagram, watching ASMR videos, and streaming detective shows and historical dramas. I also like crafting and taking nature photos.

    If you could drop everything and go on a road trip, where will it be?

    Probably somewhere close. I don’t like being in the car for long trips. But I’d love to be able to take an extended trip to see my Mom in Knoxville, TN. Maybe I could even shoot with a few photographers there, too.

    Is there a food or drink you can’t live without?

    I really love rooibos tea! Also baked chicken wings.

    How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

    Probably not long. I’m not a big zombie aficionado though, so I really don’t have much to base that on.

    Do you have a preferred side to taking selfies?

    I don’t have a preferred side based on my features, but I do mainly photograph certain angles because I only have one window I can use and it’s in a corner so I tend to face the direction that gets the light I like the most. Plus, I do best holding my phone in my right hand.

    What can a guy do to turn you off?

    Be disrespectful. I’m pretty easy going and I like to give people a chance, but I don’t tolerate people who can’t be respectful.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Dekilah. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    I think sexy is very much in the mind of the beholder. I actually don’t use the word “sexy” to describe myself very often because it feels too strong. I like “sensual” or “sensuous” better because they feel softer and more subtle to me. I suppose it’s close to the same thing though. I think it has to do with being open and intimate, creating a connection that people find attractive. I’m actually not very good at defining words like that. But there you go!
