    I stopped shaving around five years ago. Ever since my hair started growing in, it has been thick and dark. This used to make me feel very embarrassed. This was mostly because women and people perceived as women are held to strict standards of femininity and shaving is a big part of that. A big part of the reason I stopped shaving was to challenge myself to become comfortable with my body in its natural state. After a short time I realized how much I really love all of my hair and just never went back. As an added bonus, shaving always felt like a huge waste of time and I’m happy to be able to spend that time doing other things.

    Body Hair Attraction

    I’m sure the attraction to body hair from both women and men varies greatly from person to person. I think that there is some draw to it because of how rare it is for women to let their body hair grow in without shaving or trimming it. There is also the feeling of hair under your fingers or pressed up against your skin that I think is very sensual. Another thing I’ve had a lot of people tell me is that they love the way people with body hair smell. The hair around my armpits and my bush do tend to hold in some of my natural body smells, which I think are quite nice.

    The most common request from men is for me to simply show them my hair and run my fingers through it. If they are with me in person they love to do the same. On web cam I get a lot of requests to tug on it, brush it, put clips in it, and wash it in the bath or shower.

    Why I Keep My Body Hair

    Since I have started to understand my inner self more and more, it became apparent to me how little pleasure I receive out of the de-naturalization of all things, my body included. I stopped shaving my legs, under arms and pubic regions because it was just silly to me. I never liked shaving in the first place, and I didn’t mind when my hair grew out. It seemed like the only reason I shaved my body hair was because every one else did, so I felt like I had to as well. I didn’t really want to give anyone a reason not to be accepting of me. Now I feel differently about the whole situation. I enjoy having body hair, and I find it sort of reliving in a way that I can accept my body as it is naturally, rather than trying to change it.

    Why Are Men Turned On By Body Hair?

    I think the fascination some of us feel with body hair is just pure primal instinct. I think those of us who find the attraction in body hair are simply just attracted to what feels natural and familiar to us as humans. It is easier to find attraction in what you already know, and if you are hairy as an individual you might find that you are more satisfied with a partner who is hairy like you. Of course there are those who find attraction in opposites as well; for example maybe women who choose to shave their entire bodies find extremely hairy men more attractive than those who have little body hair, and vice versa.
