Enjoy Life & Adventure With Yinn

Hello 😊 So, my name’s Yinn, and I’m 23, fresh grad, and like many other 97s babies, still lost and just trying to enjoy life as things go. I usually find myself just like any other ordinary girls, love to explore new things and adventure, thinking food is the bridge to anything, and I try to be kind rather than right most of the times.

How will you describe your fashion style?

I would say classic, chic and comfortable? If that’s a style trend. But basically anything that is comfortable and makes me feel good and lowkey.

What is the best compliment you have received?

Hm, I wouldn’t say the best compliment, but one of the most memorable compliment that I’ve received so far would be “You did it. You made it”.

Which city or country have you visited that has given you a strong lasting impression?

This would definitely be Melbourne, Australia. I studied abroad in Melb for about two years, and it was also my first experience away from home. I’ve always been more of an introvert and didn’t really have friends around, so it was a really difficult period for me during that time. As rough as the journey was, I think it did teach me valuable life lessons, and skills of course.

Is there any item in your wardrobe that is a must have?

A must have in my wardrobe for me would be the most comfortable set of pyjamas that I have. For me, nothing beats a hot shower and a comfortable set of pyjamas after a long day of work.

What is your beauty secret to looking so fabulous?

Aww 😊 I am still far from fabulous, but I would like to share that my skin is in a much better condition that before. So, I would say self care? I’ve suffered from severe allergies and acne previously and over the years, through recommendations from my dermatologist, my skin is slowly recovering and I’m slowly learning to love my skin and myself, a little more each day and making sure it’s healthy and happy.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

Yes, definitely! Tons! I think one of the funniest one is slamming into a “so well cleaned glass door” right in my face, while I was focused on my screens. Just a loud bam into the glass door and you feel like the whole room just stares at you quietly while you pretend that you didn’t just run into the glass door that now, seems too obvious to miss it. Always focus on your path!

What turns you off on a date and have you had a bad date experience?

Haven’t really had many date experiences, so I would say no? But I think one of the major offs in general, on a date would be being disrespectful. Not only towards your date, but also to other people, especially your waiter.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Sher Yin. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

At the age of 13, to be honest, I would say sexy is dependent on one’s appearances.

At the age of 23 however, I would say the only “sexy” that you should be looking for could be anything but your appearances. Personality is one of the sexiest “type” that someone could have. Confidence, positive attitude, respectful to all, and kindness. Being sexy in your appearance can only take you so far, but being sexy and true to yourself, now that I believe, can make a statement in your life.
