Kelly Mcdonnell ArnoldKelly McDonnell-Arnold is a Certified Clinical Sexologist and Relational Therapist. Kelly believes that her role is to coach, empower and encourage her clients to step into their own, both relationally and/or sexually, to create the most fulfilling lives and relationships possible.

Kelly completed her Honours Undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Forensic Sexology as well as an MBA. Kelly has received formal education on a breadth of sexual topics, including, but not limited to; sexuality across the lifespan, intimacy, desire, sexual variance, psychosexual development, psychoanalysis and sexual fantasies, fetishes, obsessions and paraphilia’s, brothels and the sex industry, kink, non-monogamy, S/M, B/D, D/S, sexuality and loss, sexual difficulties and disorders, sexuality and illness, romance and relationships; anti-social sexual behaviours, issues of cultural awareness and international importance.

While completing her Postgraduate degree Kelly researched and presented on some of her clinical interests, including tantra, the healing power of touch, increasing intimacy and sexual satisfaction utilizing sensate focus and sexuality and illness. For her Master’s degree thesis Kelly conducted a research project on the effects of cancer and it’s treatment on the sexual self. After completion of her Master’s degree in Forensic Sexology, Kelly worked as a therapist in numerous addiction treatment facilities and completed additional training in sex therapy, and holds a certificate in Sex Therapy from the University of Guelph, Ontario. She continued to present at conferences, such as the World Congress for Sexual Health and the University of Guelph, Sexuality Conference, Ontario. She then sought an opportunity to complete an MBA in order to open and run an effective private practice to enhance the sexual health services within the Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario Community.

Kelly specializes in providing sex and relational therapy for both individuals and couples. She also facilitates tailored inclusive sexuality and relationship workshops for couples and young adults in Canada. Kelly is also an active guest speaker and presenter at conferences, workshops and has made guest appearances on radio and television to talk about sexual health and counselling. Kelly works closely with her business partner Joanne Flannery in order to disseminate honest and helpful sexual health information.

Kelly is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists, a board certified sexologist through the American College of Sexologists, a supervised associate member of Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy and Counselling in Ontario (BESTCO), and a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists (AASECT).
