Malaysian Model & Emcee Shermaine Yew

I am Shermaine, a girl who loves to travel, eat and socialise. Who is also a public relations student and doing part time modelling. I’m from Malaysia, Chinese with 20% of baba Nyonya, and 5% Japanese. Have lived in Malaysia since the day I was born and I’m the kind of girl who always believes that having a positive mindset will make everything work out well.

What is your fashion style like?

Simple yet elegant and lady looking.

On normal days I will pair up simple, casual dresses or just tees with skirts. Somedays, dressing up to a more wow kind of look depending on where I’m heading to. But I like pastel colours like pink, purple and blue.

Where do you usually love to shop from?

Bershka, Topshop and H&M. But now I do more online shopping. Rather stay home and shop!

Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

My beauty regime has to be skincare and loving yourself is important.

Use the right skincare, do the routine, and somehow you will see the glow in you.

How often do you workout?

Once or twice a week.

Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

Ladies finger, yuckssss.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

Definitely there was! But, I can’t recall it.

What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Well, it was just this guy from nine years back that tried to prove that he can protect me when I’m together with him. But sadly, it didn’t work out cause he tried protecting me by following me to the ladies.

I feel that it is all about having confidence from within whereby you’re sexy even if you’re not dressed up in sexy clothing.

It has to be the vibes / personality that you showcase yourself. When u think you’re sexy, you are sexy.
