Fashionable Cindy Chen From Malaysia

Hi, my name is Cindy Chen, used to be Kelly when I was in primary school though. Who would want to have the same name as their friend if you have the choice to change it right? Anyways, I just graduated from Foundation in Arts at Sunway College this early March and am currently working under a digital marketing company.

The purpose of working there is to gain experience and knowledge which will help me a lot in the future, as I plan to study a Degree in Digital Marketing. I used to be a total extrovert who always liked to spend my time outside with friends, but as time went by, I slowly turned into more of an introvert and watch YouTube videos at home instead. Time changes people, I guess.

What is your proudest achievement so far?

I own 7 dogs at home, 3 poodles and 4 strays. I’m really proud of that if you cannot tell.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

It is the best but also the funniest, a couple of people actually said that I look like Jane Lau and Angelababy on different days. My friends and family laughed at me, obviously.

How is your beauty regime like?

When I feel a little bit extra and fancy, I would put on foundation, blush, lightly do my eyebrows and put on lipstick that matches my outfit of the day. However, I will only apply lipstick and out I go most of the time.

Do you have any guilty indulgences when it comes to food?

Definitely, instant noodles and salmon sashimi. Instant noodles are my comfort food, especially PALDO Namja Ramen from Korea. Besides, my family and boyfriend always warn me about eating too much raw fish due to parasites. But both of them are too good to resist.

What is a typical day like for you?

I have a 9am to 6pm job on weekdays. The other times I will just chill at my house or catch up with my friends. Other than that, I eat a lot when I have free time.

If you could travel to any part of the world for an experience, where will it be?

Definitely New York City, it has been on my to-go list since forever.

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I was standing and waiting for my boyfriend outside one of the 7-11 stores which is located at TREC KL. Then, I noticed one guy who was probably in his early or mid 20s who kept following me and looking at me in a very weird way while eating his ice cream. He then finally had the courage to come forward and asked for my phone number, and that’s when my boyfriend came out from the store and walked me away while holding my hand. That expression of that stranger was just hilarious.

Confidence is the key. Despite your skin color, body size, breast size, religion, nationality and any other human labels, I think one can be defined as sexy if he/she feels good and loves everything about themselves. Never let anyone or any label to define you, you define you.
