Makeup And Fashion Lover Annie Ling

It is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy Annie.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in, I hope that you will be able to learn a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Edmonton, I have three younger siblings, two brothers, a sister, and a yorkie chihuahua named Pickle. Yes, her name is Pickle because I am obsessed with pickles!

One of my small hobbies is photography, I don’t do it often however, many people in the past have said that I am a natural when it comes to taking pictures! I am always on the hunt for the newest makeup and fashion trends. I love getting dressed up no matter what the occasion is for, the way I see it is  you never know who you might be running into!

What is your fashion style?

I generally have two types of styles. If you know me personally, you already know I am a homebody! My homebody wardrobe consists of leggings, joggers, sweaters, and Uggs or sneakers, depending on the Edmonton weather. My go-to style, which is probably what you would catch me wearing on a daily basis consists of bodysuits, jeans, and booties. I also adore chokers, and watches. You can never have too many of those.

Where do you usually love to shop from?

I will generally shop where the deals are, sale items are my favorite! However, I hate going to the mall to shop, shopping online is so much easier. I just feel that walking around the mall is exhausting,  and sometimes having to try on clothes is such a hassle. My all time favorite store is Fashion Nova, I love their bodysuits, and they are a super affordable online fashion store! I also love to shop at H&M, they always have what I am looking for, and sometimes they have the best deals!

Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

I actually don’t have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food, I love food! Some of my favorite foods are Korean dishes, sour pickles, cabbage rolls, and lasagna!  Oh, and I am also a coffee addict, I love going to all the cute cafes to relax and take cute coffee pictures. The foods that I can’t stand are seafood and sushi dishes, I actually wish that I liked those sorts of foods. It looks delicious, but the smell of it turns me off! Sorry sushi lovers!

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

Growing up, I was obsessed with superheros I desperately wanted to be one.  If I had to choose one specific superpower, I would choose the ability to teleport! I think this would be the absolute greatest power to have on earth! This way  I could vacation whenever or if necessary. Not only that but teleportation powers could save me a bunch of time, which would also allow me to avoid crowded airports.

Which is your most memorable travel experience so far?

Well I recently traveled to Amsterdam, Paris, and Belgium. The highlight of the trip was going to Tomorrowland, I had a blast, and it was also my first rave ever. If you are thinking about going to Tomorrowland, you must! Everyone should go at least once in their lifetime! It was an incredible festival!

Is there something you don’t get about guys?

Oh man! That is a tough one, there are so many things that I don’t understand about those strange creatures. They are all so complicated in their own ways, the funny part is they don’t even see how complicated they are! The one thing that I don’t get is their inability to remember details, whether they are small or big. Good thing men have us women to help guide them!

Do you have a bad date experience to share?

Surprisingly, I have never had a bad date in my entire life. I have not had the most experience in the dating scene, but I have happily been together with my boyfriend for about four years now! It has been the best four years ever, and we love each other!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Annie. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

Sexy to me is feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin no matter what anyone else says. Everyone is sexy in their own way, and I know it can be hard for many girls and guys out there to see it. Sexy is all about accepting your flaws, and learning to flaunt them.  Acceptance leads to happiness, which by the way is the new sexy! So flaunt what you got, as long as you are happy then you are truly sexy! Work it girl!
